disappointing loot ? gleeok horns are the strongest elemental parts in the game and dont have to be "recharged" after a few swings like other parts

@@huntingcarbon try putting a gem in a weapon. They have a "battery" system that once dry it has to recharge for a bit. Honestly, not that bothersome since you can just cycle them.

Thing I just learned today: if you swap out one beam emitter for any dragon part, even a zonaite recreation of one, it increases the despawn distance to 2 km. Your orbital death laser will never leave during a boss fight anymore, problem solved.
A dragon part? What do you mean? Like a piece of the light dragon or one of the other 2? And just attach it in place of one of the beams?

ProTip: Never ever save your game 'After' building something. You should only save before because when you reload all of your devices will have left your inventory but you won't have a build to show for it. But if you save before you start building you'll still have all your materials.
I learned that AFTER I had everything all set up, saved, and then reloaded and was like WTAF???

If you build it sucessfully you should save after. i learned the hard way that auto saves DO NOT retain autobuild favourites and obviously don't retain builds in the world. So if you build something you want to keep and use regularly on autobuild make sure you manually save.

Managed to do it in about 15 seconds using something I call the ripper. It involves a fan, a sail, and attaching a whole inventory of powerful weapons to it.

I did it just by climbing up the pole and air-timing him with arrows over and over and not letting him fly in the air

I’ve been smashing my head against the wall trying to avoid the lasers and the whole time I could’ve just used ultra hand and use a piece of concrete or something to block them 🤦♂️

The large charge buff isn't really an exploit, it's meant to work that way. I figured that out very early in the game. A more exploitative method is to wear a full Zonai set and pop a large charge before the battle even begins, with a full 16 battery belt, which would give you so much use time that the construct might despawn due to wear before you even run out of battery life. Even then, that's not an exploit, it's just good business.
If there were a way to do some sort of menu trick that would force the battery to not drain without using any items then yeah, that would be a glitch.
always best to use a large zonai when your batter is almost depleted. It gives you a full charge, and 30s. If you open with it, you lose the full recharge, so essentially losing 16 cells.
Actually although they dont have much fuse damage, the gleeok horns are op because of how much elemental damage they do, they high the highest fuse damage for an elemental item
This isn’t really a glitch or exploit, you are having to use a ton of zonai devices and charges for this. Jjst like using up lots of weapons etc. I like the flexibility of the game
Not really cause the devices are cheap and you can farm large charges EASY by makring the constructs(they can be defeated super fast by crit hitting it then going crazy while it’s defused
I fought these with the eyeball trackers lol. They always hit critical, so they go straight for the heads and then I start swinging when all 3 heards go down. And then just repeat.

The worst that can happen if it goes to the sky is you use your glider to get on par with it then take out your bow and aim it in slow mo, you have all the time in the world to line up your shots to shoot each head so you stun it. It's very easy so it's not the worst if it does go flying up.

That’ll happen when you have 17 lasers blasting you from orbit! Just have all the materials available, or the equivalent of 200 zonaite too expensive.

I ride around with the grid on a tank, you made this look easy it was difficult for me to time everything
They tried this multiple times. It looked easy because you saw the successful take. You should have seen how fast they died in the other takes.
I have put a steering command on top of it, ate the orb before mounting it and it took me a couple of tries to find the perfect angle but with that I managed to stay out of the fire shots and kill the dragon from above. Insane setup indeed! I don’t think it will work with the electricity one though.

@@studiofap8336 I couldn’t manage the protection from the fire being on the ground, and was losing the “connection” with the device, so I thought let’s try with the steering stick? and it worked after a few tries. I’ve tried with the Electric and Ice ones but don’t get close to success though…

Very resource expensive and crazy battery drain. That said, I just used it for fun against a monster stronghold and it erased everything and was super satisfying. Not something I'm gonna use all the time but it made me laugh and that was worth it lol

This is kinda like strapping twenty bombs to a rocket.
Sure, you can 3D-Print your cruise missile or air strike for ~60 zonaite and clear out a camp without lifting a finger, but the cost likely overshadows the rewards from the camp. I did it two or three times before realizing I was wasting all my resources.

Even if you could have more than 20 zonai devices out, you can't fuse more than 20 objects at a time. It refuses to fuse together more than 20 objects and if you fuse something separate, the first of your last 20 fuses will break.

I tried to kill that Gloom King Gleeok in the depths like 30 times using the shield rocket technique. Literally to have that twilight princess cap so I can fight anon with the twilight princess outfit on.
Not even knowing I’m probably taking on the probably the hardest enemy in the game and never fighting one before.
I think in this one instance I will build this death machine

If you have max battery, you can use crystal charges to buy zonai parts, including big batteries

Curently the unicorn beam is the highest dps zonite attachment in the game
beam emitter does more damage at greater range without burning everything and knocking your loot over cliffs, but cannon breaks armor and ore deposits and knocks enemies down repeatedly. The advantages of the cannon don't work on most bosses because they are often immune to effects like being knocked down by explosions.

Why not just subtract one of the attacks for a balance thing so it wouldn't tilt?

Same issue I'm having. Rocket runs out and it doesn't continue to hover. Just falls back to the ground.
I manually set up mine when that happens. Helped in the Lynel colosseum challenge.
I just run up to him with a rocket shield, launch into the air, hit the heads with ice geese eyes, he falls, land and pound on him a bit, repeat until dead. Pretty easy actually.
Does those islands disappear when you do the Water Temple?

Zonai devices are so OP. There literally isn't a single difficult enemy in TotK with zonai tech. Even Ganondorf was super easy. Barely an inconvenience.

All gleeoks including the king gleeok are super easy with lynel bow plus keese eyes
Idk if I'm doing it wrong but it works goes too high up and doesn't shoot until the dragon starts flying, then it shoots for maybe 2 seconds Max and disintegrates
Gleeoks and Lynels have roars that disintegrate zonai devices, and other large monsters like Hinoxes can sit on them for similar effect. That's the main reason you need them on the hover stone, to keep the beam emitters out of range of the roar while still being in range of the lasers. Devices can despawn or stop working if Link is too far away, and more moving parts means more things can go wrong. Good luck!
With a Savage Lynel Bow and some Keese eyes, you can make quick work out of any Gleenok without having to resort to inventions or cheese tactics. Have a good melee on hand and it won’t even get to the annoying final phase.

I just use the unbreakable blocks combined with frost emitters and cannons, combined with the trick for infinite power.
You can attach a dragon part to eliminate the despawn problem
Giant brightblooms also work. The DeShawn range for them is 600m. Base is 100m and with dragon parts it is 2-3k meters iirc
What weapon are you using?
Beam emmiters. Together. Strong.
Wonder if you can use a mirror to deflect its beam
if you use a stone slab fused to a shield that will also block fire attacks

It just keeps falling down in mid air for some reason. Is there anything that can prevent it?
if the whole thing falls, then it's probably either:
1) running out of battery and you need to use a zoanite charge
2) you're out of range and you need to get a little more ahead of it before activating it.
if it's just parts falling off, then reposition the items; might be top-heavy.
honestly, with how many resources this takes and how much time it takes to set up, it's hardly even a cheese compared to just using keese eyes

They only go really high when they are near death. Honestly as long as I have a few rocket shields on hand I can take these guys down fairly easy.
Crap! I don't have some of these Zonai devices. And I'm all out of Zonaite pieces (if that's what they're called) to get any more of these. Haven't found any Zonaite pieces in a long time.
Can you do all that without the Majoras mask?
I just use the eyes to get his face, then swim up attack and then use eyes in BT and attack before I even drop lol

if you add a homing cart you can get a lot further away from it before it loses power, and the cart doesnt even have to be doing anything usefull.

I do wish the Gleeok fights were more like Dragonlord Placidusax.
I tried this and it did not knock the dragon down at all. The dragon just sat in it and flew up and stayed in the air shooting fireballs. I even used a rocket to get close to it and hit its heads with bomb arrows to bring it back down but it didn't flinch. If it didn't fly up and stay there, I would've killed it in about 10 seconds lol.
Imagine Link in Dungeon and Dragon be like summoning a damn Orbital Laser Strike 😂😂😂😂
Reminds me of when the party wizard bought 36 great swords and nobody knew why until he dumped them all out of his bag of holding and used telekinesis to hurl them all at the boss in one round.

I didn't realize the flame Gleeok put off extreme heat.
I built it exactly like you did, but it didn't work for me. It fell down in front of the Gleok and didn't do anything.
I tried this and the hover stone always deactivates whenever the rocket expires

If you're talking about the frost gleeok flying around in the skies north of the stable, you can instead visit its stationary location to the southwest, overlooking Gerudo Desert.
