Same on the Wind Temple. I was riding around on the Light Dragon when it's still way up high. I passes right by the Wind Temple, so I jumped off and did the whole thing without Tulin. Well, except activating anything.
The game actually tells you that you don’t ignite when wet. There’s an NPC on Death Mountain who mentions that being wet will keep him from burning in the nearby cave. I used that information to check out said cave before I ever got fireproof armor.
I'm pretty sure it's mentioned once you finish the water temple too, clothing and food being no help in freezing water is also explained early in both games.
That particular cave actually gives you hydrants every so often so that you can make it through without the fire armor or even fireproof potions. I think it's supposed to be a "water keeps you from burning" tutorial.
The reason the Molduga didn't eat the korok is bc, the molduga can't see the korok ( remember the first ime you meet a korok they say "wait, you can see me?" )
Actually, with the one at 3:52 the enemies can launch you pretty far if you simply jump before they hit you. If Link gets hit by something while he's airborn, he will ragdoll. (not to mention that im pretty sure certain enemies attacks ragdoll him anyway) Not sure if there's some situations where this doesn't happen, but it works with this myth. I know because I've gotten smacked off a cliff before, lmao.
4:01 Link’s combos go up to 2 with two-handed swords, 4 with one-handed swords and 5 with spears. The bouncing effect applies on the last hit of the combo. Monsters can’t combo at all, so they can’t bounce Link with any weapon.
At 2:42, quick correction. You can attack when near an enemy, or when Link goes from "Calm" to "Alert", or when he moves his legs apard and looks like someone killed his best friend
If you sneak into the Yiga clan hideout and talk to everyone there, one of the foot soldiers mentions how the Yiga have been disguising themselves as trees to catch Link off guard. That means that all of the Evermean trees are actually disguised Yiga. Therefore they are also not friends with Koroks. Also they were harassing Hestu soo....
This 💯 I was going to comment the same thing lol. It's also in one of the diaries/books they left detailing their operations. What's crazy is that now every time I kill one of those trees I can only think of a yiga clan member trapped inside the trunk 😂

That has nothing to do with evermeans. It's in reference to a Yiga booby trap where you'll see a random banana on the ground with trees right next to it. Grab the banana and the trees turn into Yiga that attack you. After the last fight with Kohga (and maybe before idk) you can see this trap next to the road south of Kakariko Village, between the Pillars of Levia and the bridge.
There's a panel in Creating a Champion that shows the great fairies from below and they have mermaid tails. That's probably what you saw. As for the Gloom Spawn, you probably just saw it's ballsa-
A cool use I found for Riju Lightning- you can use the slowly expanding circle of her attack as a Daredevil vision in the Depths. It expands at roughly the same speed you can run at so you can activate it and keep moving- best part is that you can keep using it without a cool down. Very useful when exploring down there and you run out of blooms.

Fun fact I’d you attach a ice element part such as a dragon or Lizal horn and fully charge up a charge attack close too a large body of water. It will cover a lot of the area in ice and it’s super satisfying

for the one at 2:11 - Like Likes WILL strike at each other with muddlebuds! i found two in the depths a few days ago and decided to see what happened. i think the trick is that you have to shoot between them so that the effect hits them at the same time. what resulted was that they essentially looked like they were deepthroating each other's body 😂 i got a clip of it happening lmao. i might make it into a TikTok tbh because it was hilarious. 😂
6:35 You can fuse a cold effect item on the yiga longsword and charge attack on any body of water, it will for a long stretch of ice blocks that you can walk across on. There's a hidden shrine in a cave that needed you to cross a large body of cold water, and I only needed to charge attack 2 times to get across. :)
I actually went to the construct factory early and I spent so much time trying to figure out was wrong until I looked it up and found out about the quest you have to activate first 😅
0:46 So that actually happend to me on my first days of totk, because you know when tulin goes to check out one of theese flying ships, I wasent even on the chains of islands (didnt know they were there) So I just flew all the way up in a drone, but when I reached the top I realuced tulin wasent with me, and the quest log mark on the map was VERY confusing so I stayed soft locked for a LONG time there

Riju's ability works on some breakable rocks. In areas where you have to break through a tunnel cave-in, you can alternate between Riju and Yunobo's abilities. Also works on zonite clusters.
Somewhere around 7:20 the reason why the moving “trees” dont love you with the Korok mask [SPOILER ALERT] is because they are Yigas in disguise. They dont attack you with the Yiga armor which is a slick detail.
The trees that the yiga disguise themselves i think are not the living trees, but rather trees that are near weirdly placed bananas, waiting to ambush link turning into yigas.
The funny thing about going to temples without the sages is that, while it's impossible to go to the lightning temple without Riju, I got that access denied animation the first two times I interacted with the zonai circle thing. I think what happened was Riju was outside of the room and hadn't caught up to me, because I spent a few seconds looking around the room (thinking it was a puzzle), tried again hoping it would inexplicably work, and it did that time.
Most know that you can quickly increase your bond with your horse by feeding it. If you happen to be low on carrots and apples, simply take it to Kakariko Village and let it graze in the carrot patch. It should be noted that this only works in Breath of the Wild as the horse will leave it alone in Tears of the Kingdom. You can have your own garden in Hateno Village in Tears of the Kingdom, but I have not tested whether a horse will eat carrots if you have them planted.
Yes you can reach the wind temple on your own. I did the accidentally when I left the area and lost Tulen, had to go back and find him because you need him for the temple.
be honest, I didn't even build a flying bike to get to wind temple, I just have 2 bar of stamina and level 2 cold res, and 1 hour long of patience - unfortunately the puzzle there does require Tulin's help, I tried with fans and it didn't work and I knew I went there too early.
I ended up glitching out one of the shadow soldiers in the depths and made it so it was possible to actually take a picture of it, and all I did was use ultrahand on the weapon it was holding. It might have been the camera angle I was looking at it at.

Riju's lighting is sort of useless, but nowhere near as useless as Sidon's water bubble. About the only thing that is good for is keeping you cool in the desert.
I went behind the stables where you get the skeleton horse quest and immediately found a skeleton horse. Rode it around. Didn’t realize it would die. Didn’t complete the quest.
I know about the x thing like the wind temple moth because I did the water temple first (on accident, but it’s actually pretty useful to get him before the goron boss battle) and I glitched the cutscene on accident and he didn’t spawn so it showed the X

Stal enemies die to dazzle fruit because it's as bright as sunlight and they de-spawn at dawn but gloom enemies are just op version of the overworld

Those trees are NOT friends of the Koroks. There's even a point where you encounter Hestu in a state of panic from said trees.
You can use Riju's lightning to blow up piles of rocks, and it's cheaper to use an arrow instead of bombs or zonai cannons
However, Yunobo is cheaper still, costing nothing

One of the Yiga books in the dephts said the tree dudes are just Yiga in a costume so that means corogs absolutely wouldnt be friends with those trees
