Moblins have been around since the very first Zelda, So let's go on an adventure to see how fast we can touch one in every Zelda game.

Moblins are just silly guys in BotW and TotK, I love them.

@@voltron77 In the English version's credits, it showed that Link wished that his uncle "recovers", but I'm pretty sure that the original Japanese version made it more clear that his uncle actually died and got resurrected by the Triforce.

I headcanon that the "Pig Warriors" from the Oracle games are actually the first Bokoblins in the Zelda series~
Makes sense to me! I always wondered who those weird guys were.
I always saw them as a different tribe of Moblins. After all, they also serve the Great Moblin (or Moblin King, as I used to call him).
Their called "Boarblins" in the Switch version of Link's Awakening.
funny thing is, bokoblins have not been portrayed as piggy until the Switch games, and even then it's really just the nose. whereas moriblins do seem to sway between dog, pig, or humanoid demon..
Ocarina had the coolest Moblins. I still remember turning the corner in that maze and seeing one of those things charging at me for the first time.
Definitely the most memorable I’d say, along with Wind Waker
Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game I played and I had no idea those things were called moblins until MUCH later because they are the only enemies you can't scan to get details on. I first learned about moblins in Wind Waker and found out that they'd been around since the first game and wondered why there weren't any in Ocarina of Time. It was years after that I found out those things near the Forest Temple are moblins.

The enemies who were attacking the past maku tree were actually Moblin Pigs, essentially a weaker type of Moblin, so those count

I had a pet Moblin in third grade
Botw was my first Zelda game. Which means my first moblin encounter was in that game. I’ll never forget it. I enter the same forest shown in the video. But it was nighttime and I could barely see the moblin sneaking up behind me. The last thing I see before a game over is a tall dark figure taking a swing at me. It was terrifying.
Breaking news, youtuber j0rts was recently arrested for multiple counts of harassment against moblins, some witnesses even say this harassment was generational. We are are waiting for a comment from the suspect

A small note, if using the very easy Exploration glitch in A link to the past you could speed up the process. Well any of the easy glitches for some of the games. (Note EG glitch in Alttp just requires a save and quit mid air then getting knocked in to a wall upstairs inside the castle to get to the under map. It's why at minimum you can beat the game in under 3 mins.)

I honestly think Windwaker had the best Moblin design
A few ideas, how fast can you:
A) Defeat the first boss
B) Open the first treasure chest
C) Leave the opening area
D) Get the first sword/master sword
E) Start the trading sequence (first item)
F) Win first prize in a minigame
G) Reach rupees cap (including all wallet upgrades)

As someone who's never played Zelda, the uncle being dead in A Link to The Past was both hilarious and quite sad xD
I seem to remember he's actually alive in the ending credits. Apparently he was just so tired he had to nap in the sewer until you saved all of Hyrule.

In ALttP. There’s a glitch you can do at the bridge. It’s even on the switch port of either SNES games. After entering the dark eWorld, go to where the bridge is in Hyrule. Use mirror, the try to inch forward while facing right still. If it works, you won’t be warped back and can jump down then off into the main area of the dark world, skipping all the bosses except for the one in the Eastern Palace

When I saw the title I knew immediately what was in for him with Skyward Sword. I knew the Moblins only appear after beating the first 3 dungeons and the first Silent realm. I was just waiting for him to get to SS 😂

In the original version of Link’s awakening(not dx), there’s a glitch you can do where you hold up as you transition down a screen, causing you to transition up a screen instead. This allows you to skip the sword and immediately enter the forest to touch a moblin.
Also I’m sure there’s some trick or glitch you can do to get off Death Mountain when you first enter the dark world as Bunny Link, though I don’t know specifically how. Look it up.
Even faster is using map glitch in the Hyrule Castle Sewers where you get a guard to knock you out of bounds. You can get to the triforce in 3 minutes with that glitch and it's what any% speedruns use. Could very quickly make it to the dark world and a moblin with that.

Now how about another Zelda enemy staple, Octoroks. But since 3D Zeldas made them very scared, it can become "how fast can you touch an Octorok's spit?"

Twilight Princess was going to have moblins but for some reason they were cut, I believe you can see them in early trailers and screenshots for the game if I'm not mistaken.

Honestly didn’t know these guys were even called Moblins until BOTW
If you can do an arbitrary code execution, then you could still get a moblin in a game that doesn't natively have them. Just a thought.
King Bulblin should have been a moblin. He looks like a moblin and it's just weird that there aren't any in TP. I think it's the only game to feature Ganon and not have any moblins in it.
Moblins with nipple rings and jiggle physics were a mistake.
