In my opinion, if you have S8 then instead of buying the S9 wait 1 more year. Its obvious Samsung will have all the bells and whistles for their 10th anniversary.
Tech Thusiast I agree.. Unless you want want the dual camera setup there's no need to buy it. Even if you were tempted it's better to be patient and wait a year. I have the Note8 and plan to wait for the Note10, unless something arrives that might tempt me.

I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.
I just upgraded to the S8 Plus yesterday. I'm coming from the S5 so yeah, it's a significant update. I was going to get the S9 Plus, but the S8 Plus is easier on my wallet and is just as good as the S9.

If your saving $20 a month for a phone in the future you be waiting 4 years then why not save $50 a month so you will only have to wait 2 years trust me that S6 plus is gonna become out dated and old soon and you will be glad you can upgrade in the future a lot sooner and skip the S series and get the Note series instead the Note series has always been better then the S series lol.

I think s8+ users should either wait for note 9 or s10+
JEFF ink TV depends on weather your looking at s9 or s9+ as the s9+ is worth the upgrade. New 845 chipset, 6gb ram, dual camera vs the s9 one camera and 4gb ram. Stereo speakers over the s8+ but I own both regardless. Dual apt. Camera for great low light photos also ready for 5g at 1.2gb speed capable but the s8 also has a 1gb speed. Both are great. Also I got the s9+ buy one get one free from sprint so they only cost me around 450 each with 0 down financing so not bad at all. Just my 2 cents. Also the s9+ has better iris scan but now has face I'd that is pretty close to the I'd on iPhone x. Oh my favorite thing on the s9 vs s8 is the super slow motion at 960fps vs only 240 on the s8.
I just got the s8+ a week ago. Being left handed means the finger print scanner is in the optimal position for me. I'm gonna wait for the note 10. Hopefully it will be the galaxy X.

I have a S8 and absolutely love it. The fingerprint scanner annoyed me at first but I have large hands so it wasn't a huge deal and it is still snappy 5 months after purchase. I won't be upgrading for the same reason I didn't upgrade my iPhone 6 to the 7 or 8. It is more evolutionary than revolutionary.

Yes I did. Got the S9+. Love it. Only problem I haven't figured out yet, is my icons like Messages, Phone e.t.c. change a lot on my front screen. Or disappear completely. They go back to some other folder.

well, I'm not poor, and I also have the Huawei mate 10 Pro, and I have to say that the galaxy s9 is just a s8 with fingerprint scanner below the camera

ɨ ʟove γou lol I bought a s8+ 2 weeks ago because the s9+ was not out yet and also a lgv30. I hated the v30 so I returned it and when I called them they gave me a deal I couldn't say no to lol. Buy one get one free 0 down financing so I paid when done only 450 each. I thought it was a hell of a good deal as the v30 was 912 bucks with no 2nd free phone and clearly the S9+ beats the v30 hands down as does the s8+ to be completely honest. The s8+ made me say fuck LG again. The s9+ display is league's above the v30 even though it was LG's breakout with oled display. You can't touch a Samsung display. I had a S7 last year and it got stolen so I ended up buying a LG v20 for a good price. Really nice flagship from LG last year but once I bought the S8+ and had it beside the LG v30, LG v20 it made them look like dog crap. So I'm back to Samsung lol. The LG v20 has one thing that it beats all cell phones at which is it's quad dad with amp for your headphones. It makes all else sound like deal truthfully so every phone has a trade off on something but the LG v20 I kept and will be my backup plus music phone.
The SAMSUNG S8+ or S9+ are awesome phones and truly worth the cash. But like I said 2 for 1 right now but it won't last long so get them while they are hot.
To somebody tight on cash the s8+ from sprint if you have or want there service was on special for 0 a month for 18 months then 250 to pay it off if you want to keep it so 250 bucks. Or if keep it 12 months then you can trade it in on any new flagship weather it's Samsung or Apple. Just my experience I thought might shed some light on those looking to buy right now. Sorry for the long post.

Does the 8 or 9 still overheat and does it have better charge? I have a 4 and it overheats and I can't go online while I'm talking unless I hang up and put it on first did that change? Also wouls the 7 or 8 or 9 be better uograde?
S8 plus was an almost perfect smartphone when it was released. And Samsung did some awesome work on that. you cant expect too much upgrade within a year. My S8+ still looks n works perfect till now so I guess S8+ users should wait for S10 if camera isn't the main priority. S7 n S7 edge users may b like to go for S9 or 9+.
So does the normal S8/S9 models have the live focus camera too? Or is it just the Plus models that have that feature

Just picked up the S9+ Titanium grey with 256 gb and it is amazing! Had an S7 Edge and thought? - Is it much of an upgrade but it is an improvement even though the last phone is still great. Price is crazy for a phone but that's the way!
