Son Goli Glass backing is totally worth it just for NFC alone. I use it daily with my Samsung Pay. It also mandatory for wireless charging that I don't really care for as the phone gets hot while charging wirelessly

I love my Note 8 deep sea blue color, even though I wanted it to be a coral blue one front and back, just like the Note 7. Sad that Samsung missed this in favor of only black fronts, but I know this helps the "infinite" feeling of display
The Deep Sea Blue is really nice tho! I got myself a S7 Edge in Coral Blue not long ago and for me S7 Edge is more than perfect, I have everything I need on it and the battery life is just incredible. I think I won't get a new one within the next 3 years, changes are just too small. And you know how it goes, when they can't make something better they just change it untill something very new comes up. Plus experience taught me that it's just a waste to get a new one every year or 2. Just use the most out of the phone and get your money's worth from it is in my opinion the best.

Currently I am a Note 8 user who is tired of having low battery capacity and no compatibility with the latest and fastest charging options available. We’re paying lots of money for these things! Dan A Yes all that's true. But that said that is a huge deal compared to the s8. Note 8? I don't think so. Note 8 is the best looking phone ever. All the features plus the S pen, that's incomparable. Dual aperture cam is the only decent feature in the s9 compared to the note 8. But again, note 8 has manual mode with the dual cam at the back. It wins hats off.

Those are also quite expensive in US they cost around $1000 but in India they cost about 75k which is like $1200 And with my youtube money and the money i saved i bought one plus 5T
The s9 looks perfect and I would rather have it over the note since I never use the s pen. Plus the s9 has band 71 support which is huge if your a T-Mobile user

Yes Apple has set the tone for smartphones in general and made keynotes a “Thing” both companies are influenced by each other which is healthy for us as consumers. Apple and Samsung has a huge influence in the world of technology Apples ecosystem is unmatched at the moment across all of their devices. Wireless charging was made popular by Samsung, but they wasn’t the first to do it, we live in society where who ever makes something popular or makes a trend, get the “Credit” . Samsung is a great hardware company, but you can’t deny that Apple made smartphones popular among the masses, sorry for the essay lol

Reign G4 the funny thing is people criticised Apple for getting OLEDS from Samsung yet Apple tweaked them and it's the best oled on a phone right now. It made me chuckle. I don't remember the last time I ever wanted to customise my phone who still wants a theme and curvy text in this day and age I'd rather choose simple and standard over complicated and messy.

same phone as last year with apple like "upgrades" you know those upgrades that people will use for all of about 2 months and never use again. live photos anyone?
When they cost about as much as a desktop computer, we can get picky. this s9 will not be worth the cost of what ever samsung deems it to be. the scam of getting extra ram in the plus model is bullshit because they can charge more. 4gb of ram has been in phones for years now. Can we at least get 6gb ram as standard? 3500mAh battery in the s9+ and 3000 in the s9, that is stagnant, phones have had that big a battery for years and they don't last any longer than they did 3-5 years ago. the curved display is horrible. don't mind the 18.5:9 aspect ratio. the curved screen towards the back of the phone is not very intuitive to use, the fleshy part of the plam just under the thumb gets in the way and there you have it some random app opens. the rounded rectangle screen is kinda dumb too, bring back the physical home button and touch capacitive back and recents button. Who gives a shit about bezel size you need some sort of bezel to hold the fucking phone with out accidental screen input. what's gonna be the new thing sorry mate i palmed dialed you, ,I shouldn't have to cradle a phone more carefully than a newborn because they want to go with aesthetics over function. AR emojis will be cool for a month and why would they put one camera over the other and then put the fingerprint sensor on the bottom of that look that the lg v20 they got it right. why can't we have front facing speakers its been done before and didn't seem that hard to do. Don't get me started on IR blasters enabled FM radio chips and removable batteries

Samsung updates phones with the odd number models... S6 to S7 This is more of an update than the s6 to s7 tbh This was a much needed update and im glad it happened without making an S8S and just means they dont have to keep skipping model numbers... If you are so disappointed, check out the LG V30S+ Thingq...
Most people with even a small amount of tech knowledge know that Sony had a version of it last year and they have a patent on it. So far I haven't seen anyone claim Samsung did it first, though they had to create their own version to get round the patent. I don't know why you're crying about it, are you moaning because you think other manufacturers shouldn't try to make it? All companies copy each other, otherwise most phones wouldn't have any features. Your comment is just totally pointless.

I really like the haptic feedback on the iPhone. It actually feels like you're pressing a button. I've tried the s8 but it just feels like a regular vibration feedback. Does the s9 & s9+ feel more like you're pressing a button ?
Just bought two s9+ on Saturday 😁😁😋 In lilac purple for the wife & blue for me. Man these phones rock! Upgraded from the Note 4 after 3.3 years. 😂 I love my S-pen and used it daily but surprisingly for some reason I don't miss it yet. 🤗🤗🤗
Great video, is it possible to cover detailed technical specifications during your full review. I find many reviews focus too much on the camera. Specs such as LTE bands, device dimensions and other hardware related information would be nice.

Can I ask a few questions? I'm coming from the original Moto X and haven't researched phones since then so sorry if these are obvious questions... 1. Can you switch the location of the back button on the bottom menu? Looks like Samsung has it where the app switch button is on other phones. 2. Does the "Ok Google" work when the phone is locked/screen is off? 3. It says the S9+ has a wide angle lens, does that mean the photos are like the fish-eye kind of photos? I saw in a video of the LG V30 that you can switch from "regular" to wide angle to fit more into the picture without having to move back, is that the same kind of thing on this?

Those are also quite expensive in US they cost around $1000 but in India they cost about 75k which is like $1200

Thomas Anchell I think it comes to personal preference, Apple admits that they may not have done certain things first, but they improve on current existing technologies and ideas. Yes Apple has set the tone for smartphones in general and made keynotes a “Thing” both companies are influenced by each other which is healthy for us as consumers. Apple and Samsung has a huge influence in the world of technology Apples ecosystem is unmatched at the moment across all of their devices. Wireless charging was made popular by Samsung, but they wasn’t the first to do it, we live in society where who ever makes something popular or makes a trend, get the “Credit” . Samsung is a great hardware company, but you can’t deny that Apple made smartphones popular among the masses, sorry for the essay lol

Thomas Anchell you’re right I see that all the time, people like to criticize Apple and never giving them credit, Apple has set the standard and has been on top for a long time so people often like nitpick Apple lol, Goggle pixel is pretty much an iPhone that runs android all the things they say against iPhones it’s “Simple” not “Customizable “ Android is customizable BUT Google Pixel is the complete opposite a simple version of android, Google even copied the term “Portrait Mode” lol Google has stated that the pixel is showing how Android is supposed to run by having hardware and software integration IPhones has been doing this since day one lol
Reign G4 the funny thing is people criticised Apple for getting OLEDS from Samsung yet Apple tweaked them and it's the best oled on a phone right now. It made me chuckle. I don't remember the last time I ever wanted to customise my phone who still wants a theme and curvy text in this day and age I'd rather choose simple and standard over complicated and messy.
I didn't think I'd be saying this but I want one just because of that aperture thing. Can you go into more detail on that in your full review please? 😅 (Just wish it had the spen)

Coming from the S7 this is a big update.
When they cost about as much as a desktop computer, we can get picky. this s9 will not be worth the cost of what ever samsung deems it to be. the scam of getting extra ram in the plus model is bullshit because they can charge more. 4gb of ram has been in phones for years now. Can we at least get 6gb ram as standard? 3500mAh battery in the s9+ and 3000 in the s9, that is stagnant, phones have had that big a battery for years and they don't last any longer than they did 3-5 years ago. the curved display is horrible. don't mind the 18.5:9 aspect ratio. the curved screen towards the back of the phone is not very intuitive to use, the fleshy part of the plam just under the thumb gets in the way and there you have it some random app opens. the rounded rectangle screen is kinda dumb too, bring back the physical home button and touch capacitive back and recents button. Who gives a shit about bezel size you need some sort of bezel to hold the fucking phone with out accidental screen input. what's gonna be the new thing sorry mate i palmed dialed you, ,I shouldn't have to cradle a phone more carefully than a newborn because they want to go with aesthetics over function. AR emojis will be cool for a month and why would they put one camera over the other and then put the fingerprint sensor on the bottom of that look that the lg v20 they got it right. why can't we have front facing speakers its been done before and didn't seem that hard to do. Don't get me started on IR blasters enabled FM radio chips and removable batteries

I really like the haptic feedback on the iPhone. It actually feels like you're pressing a button. I've tried the s8 but it just feels like a regular vibration feedback. Does the s9 & s9+ feel more like you're pressing a button ?

Great video, is it possible to cover detailed technical specifications during your full review. I find many reviews focus too much on the camera. Specs such as LTE bands, device dimensions and other hardware related information would be nice.
Can someone please tell me why everyone has settled for "1 day battery life" and stopped asking for more from either Samsung or Apple in terms of battery life?
Can I ask a few questions? I'm coming from the original Moto X and haven't researched phones since then so sorry if these are obvious questions...
1. Can you switch the location of the back button on the bottom menu? Looks like Samsung has it where the app switch button is on other phones.
2. Does the "Ok Google" work when the phone is locked/screen is off?
3. It says the S9+ has a wide angle lens, does that mean the photos are like the fish-eye kind of photos? I saw in a video of the LG V30 that you can switch from "regular" to wide angle to fit more into the picture without having to move back, is that the same kind of thing on this?
