Where did you find "EXTREME" settings? 🤔
I've got a TUF A 15 2023 with 7940hs and a RT 4070 and the highest settings are "ULTRA", after that it's just "CUSTOM".

If Nvidia led with the improved efficiency for the 40-series laptop chips, they would have got dunked on far less harshly this generation. That's despite the generational performace gain _while plugged in_ not being impressive.
Gaming at framerates previously limited to being plugged is finally _genuinely_ feasible on the go!

I have got a zephyrus g16 with rtx 4060 and it runs prety well to be honest. Good part is that the 4060 laptop and 4060 desktop are almost identical.
Prety power eficient.
I was impressed that in cyberpunk it takes about 80w of power.

I've ASUS TUF A15 RTX 4060, when I found about battery performance, I just got amazed. I was playing game and the moment was very heat. After that my power gone. I said oh it is end but I could play stable. I was using RTX 2070 laptop before that and it wasn't like this :D

Nice video but please dont use dlss to justify the performance, next time, benchmark without dlss, and maybe i would recommend the 4000 series laptop if the performance satisfies my needs, i dont care about dlss, i dont care about frame generation, i just want raw performance.

another important thing to notice is that nvidia secretly messed with textures, lightings and reflections depending on what gpu u own. the better the gpu, the better the textures, lightings and reflections.

That sounds like too much work to be done on the driver side. the only reasonable explanation is more expensive GPUs have more VRAM, and those able to load textures more easily on ultra settings.
