i wanted them to change the transparent keys remove it from letters because it annoy when typing
and mabe make it on the other top keys or fn keys
And the TUF series does do some serious CPU stuff over elongated periods of time, I got one about 4 years ago with a ryzen processor and it has stood the test of time with heavy duty backend programming with some front end stuff 5 days a week and CS go ( I am old) on the weekends
Probably one the best gaming laptops today, great bang for buck but without falling into trash tier build quality and thermals
is msi katana 17(rtx 4060 + i7) better than this asus?
@@1-crown434 Msi and Gigabyte is the worst gaming laptops.
@@1-crown434 After trying one myself, MSI Katana 17 has a cheap feel to their chassis since it has the same material used for their budget gaming laptops like the GF series, and also the display is horrible for it's price, very dim, not 100% color accurate. For the performance? it's fairly good.

Got mine last week and I'm really enjoying it! The package as a whole is brilliant! I will say my favorite is the trackpad, it's the first laptop I've used that doesn't need an external mouse! It wasnt cheap, even though it is classed as a "budget" laptop but it was worth it I don't need more than this! Can work and game on 1 system without any issues.
@@locke_ytb it has different modes, I run it on silent low power mode on battery and I've had it running for 4hours while working on it and the battery was +-40% if memory serves. Never really did it to check the overall battery life just never realized that I hadn't plugged it in 😂. It has a 90whr battery which is quite a bit larger than the other gaming laptops I looked at.

@@sayandas9381 nah I can see perfectly fine no issues with brightness for me. Comparing this to my monitor I noticed my monitor is busy burning my damn retinas it's so bright, this is way less harsh on my eyes. In the end you should buy what ticks most of the boxes you want. I had a list of things I wanted. From silly things like rgb keyboard and g-sync, to more important things like cpu and gpu performance, battery life and numpad to name a few.. What I paid and what I got is most impressive to me, all other rtx4060 laptops are way more expensive. In my country there is a +-$500 price difference between the acer and asus and I wasn't going to pay that difference..

Does the TUF A15 7735HS have working USB4 ? From what I heard USB4 support is only available on 7740HS models despite advertisement that all models have USB4, does it support thunderbolt accessories like eGPUs and dongles ?
They really are great little laptops. I got mine a month ago. I am super happy with it.

@@midhunv5973 It's really smooth. My frames are great to between 120-140 depending on what I play. The fans keep it cool for me so far. Alas it is new. Between 40-50 degrees Celsius.
How's the battery life?
@@Morbid_Mysteries The battery life depends on what settings you run the laptop on. When it comes to gaming it's okay for 1.5 to two hours depends on the games.

Got the G17 with 7845HX and 4060. i can play 1440p with RT and Pathtracing at about 50fps 👍 1080p Ultra w/o RT at about 180fps 😳

TUF and military grade... I whacked my 2022 TUF A15 on the keyboard (not very hard mind) and the screen turned of... Dunno if I want to get the MB replaced or just buy a new one. I have had ASUS gear since 2007, and sadly the quality has been declining since then. Looking at other options. The screen is very nice too: 2560 x 1440p, 165 Hz, 3060 gpu and 6800 cpu. Ran my main game "Escape From Tarkov at high settings at 60 Hz without any problems. Put in 32 BG DDR5-5200 RAM in it.

Its been 7 yrs using gtx 1050 tuf series and planning on changing laptop but its still doing great 😅😅, asus has done a pretty awesome job creating this series.

i got this laptop, its really good, only issue is the blacks are poor with the display, no colour option can fix it, it just doesnt have wide enough colour gammet or something

hello guys I bought this laptop couple days ago, coming from disktop pc I'm experiencing so much frame drops and stutters and I tried a friend's 3060 Lenovo laptop and I saw the same drops and stutters but he wasn't noticing any problems, is it a common thing for laptops or we both have a problem to solve because I couldn't solve it no matter what

Alright, I was really enjoying this review, but can't hold back the hate for saying it sounds flat unlike a JBL speaker, those are tuned towards parties, increased bass and muddy at that. (Loved the video though)
Also really worth mentioning you can install 64gb of fast ddr5 ram with 2x2tb m.2 making it amazing for productivity at only 1400,-
Is the acer nitro 5 4060 better than this laptop in terma of gaming?
I just got my A15 3 days ago... am I the only one with extremely high memory usage ? I can't open more than 3 app (like word, powerpoint and google) and I am already reaching 70% ram usage and my computer is lagging asf... I tried to play elden ring an it was impossible to play ^^' I mean my old Lenovo Yoga can open 20 times more applications without lag... Please help

Is this TuF with Ryzen 7 7940HS RTX 4070 worth getting over the Asus Rog strix g15 i9-13980HX RTX 4060 if price-wise? TuF one is more cheaper here, around $80 cheaper. Not a professional hardcore gamer btw only play some games like genshin, hsr, elden ring, the Sims kind & some graphic design + editing works. Thoughts?

Rtx 4060 don’t get over 70 degrees and processor 80 degrees
(In Lenovo legion 7i or Asus rog strix g15 cooling is not so good like in this laptop)
In the link you provided on Amazon it is the exact specs you have but a 4050 or 3060 as choices. Don't see a 4060?

I dislike the black colour. There is the A16 7940HS 7700s with beige bottom, but keyboard top panel is still black. The G14 black has the soft touch coating, which is even worse fingerprint magnet and durability.

Lenovo is like 350€ cheaper but have "only" Ryzen 7 7840HS (which is more or less the same as TUF's Ryzen 9 7940HS) & RTX 4060 instead of TUF's 4070 :O
But I guess for 1080p either is fine

You need only Look for tdp Higher.. 4060 - ( 140 Watt or Higher) 4070 - (140 Watt or Higher)
Wats the battery power like? When ita switched on, how many hours it last before the power is gone ?
You must always play the game in charging mode so the games can run at their best.
But if you're doing some light office or basic work without charging then it'll last you enough for around 6- 7 hours I guess.
I have the same laptop but I haven't tried it without charging yet
How's the battery mixed use (non-gaming) overall?
I have this laptop, the battery life is absolutely phenomenal. If you keep the GPU settings on ASUS armory crate to optimum, it will basically disable the NVIDIA GPU when not doing anything graphically intensive. I kid you not I get between 10-12 hours on battery with keyboard backlight set to lowest and screen at around mid-brightness when using word, chrome, Spotify, google drive. Its an absolute beast of a laptop.
