I have both and macOS (like iOS and iPadOS) is wonderful for content creators/multimedia editing. Everything else is so much better in Windows. One thing that drives me crazy with most reviews with macs are the overemphasis on design and aesthetics. The fawning, drooling, and gushing makes me want to claw my eyes out, because as a 33 yearlong Apple user, I never once considered those things important. If I'm going to spend a few grand on a computer I could give two hot damns about how many colors it comes in, how thin it is, or that it is built to outlast a nuclear war or my neighbors three-year-old kid. I want a computer that computes. Not a decorative accessory for my living room. That being said, I've not purchased my next much needed computer due to that. More importantly the inability to upgrade components such as RAM, SSD etc. in the future on all of Apple's consumer level computers is evil. All upgrades have to be done at time of purchase because neither you nor Apple can upgrade later. If not, you seriously run the risk of spending tons of cash on a machine that is quickly going to be obsolete in three or less years. That and the current rumor is that Apple does not intend to support its systems as it once did. Whereas it was up to eight years, they've dropped to three or four. Again, for that kind of money... I'm sorry. I understand corporate greed when I smell it. This to me is a big big deal breaker. To make matters worse, is the greedy exorbitant cost of these upgrades. $200 a piece, for each step up on each upgrade is out of the question and utterly greed driven. I do not see any reason to spend $200 for each upgrade. To go from 8g to 16g to 24g or more costs $200 EACH level up. The same for the SSD as well. By the time you estimate what you think you need three or more years down the line you're spending over $3,000. For these reasons and numerous other unethical situations Apple has committed these past fifteen years is inexcusable. I have come to detest Apple just as much if not more than when I loved them to pieces. But Apple is not, nor has been the same company it was. That Apple died shortly after Steve Jobs passed away. Now its business model is solely about extracting as much coin from its mindless, followers of which I was once one too. As such, I am as much to blame for this as the rest of the Apple apologists. We continued to support that company despite anything it did, and so now knowing how successful its marketing strategies have been, Apple feels confident to be arrogant in its practices. All the while smiling and saying pleasantries when you contact their customer service reps. That disingenuous practice alone rots. I don't nor ever bought into the idea that a company is my friend, thinks like a person, and has my best interest at heart. My business degree was about understanding that companies as businesses are about profit above all else. The American business model has always centered on accentuating the positive while ignoring the negative to the point of denying it or "educating" the costumer to think those negatives are actually beneficial when they're not. And sadly, far too many fall for it hook line and sinker. So, here I sit with an aging Mac, with nowhere to go. I had enough experience with Windows in the past to not like the system, not like its flakiness and constant need for upkeep, or its constant interruptions and nonsense for inserting advertising where it doesn't belong, especially during set up. We have an oligopolistic situation today in computing systems and neither are serving the tech world any longer. Linux is not a viable alternative for your average user and for many reasons. Whereas once it was about true innovation and forward movement that benefitted the user and the computer world altogether, today it is about providing as little as possible while forcing more and more money out of us. It's confusing to a non tech person like myself. Thanks either way. Enjoy your vids.
Macs have a "flat" frequency depending a LOT on where its being sampled since it uses the rear vents of the macbook to port out sound. This adds the apparenlty amount of bass and mids but destroys the 3D stereo soundstage that even the nintendo DS onward inhandled mode had over it. Windows om the other hand doesnt have the sound stack for anything under 200ms latency

I have the same question But I think windows offer more flexibility you Can do anything on windows: web development, graphic design, gaming, upgrade the hardware....
What would you recommend if we are searching for a laptop which is similar to the Mac features, but want to stay on Windows OS? Do you think it is worth waiting for the new Snapdragon chips and see how that ARM architecture will work on with windows or just chose a specific laptop which is good also in price, something like Zenbook or Zephyrus? wow this channel is the best i just found this channel and i have known a lot about computers. Thanks A Lot!
(Please i request u to make a vedio everything about gaming laptops.)
Just use the platform that suits you. Both are fine and they mostly play nice with each other.
Dude your sponsor comes out at the right moment. I need to increase my recovery partition but too scared to change it via cmd and risk losing all my data. Just managed to allocate the partition to 1 GB and finally able to launch the bitlocker(?) windows update.
Also thanks for free key and keep up the high quality content.
The content is something else.thanks for the useful informations.1 subs for u
Windows\PC only. Apple can stick their proprietary equipment where the sun don't shine.
Who asked?
As a Linux user, i totally agree.
@@BeefyBoy909 yes as an arch linux user, unfortunately i have to tell you i use arch btw and i would rather use windows than apple's botnet shitshow they call an operating system.
Hey, I just stopped by to say that I admire your work, @TheMysteriousTech , your no frills approach is excellent, no gimmicks, no close-ups, just quality content! This is what the Internet was made for! Again, thanks, and keep up the outstanding job!
Comprehensive video I wish you added a conclusion section tho. Thank you
What about recording music and guitar effects?? Without thinking witch is better for me.
You got something really good going here, I subscribed immediately 👍👍
When are you going to do Windows vs Linux?
Thank you! ❤
Btw for anyone wanting seamless clipboard integration between windows and android phones, phone link is excellent for it. File sharing also works pretty well. It actually has no delay from what i can tell. Every other feature of phone link suck though and you should turn it off.
The Universal Clipboard thing actually works on my ASUS Windows Laptop using the "Phone Link" app, I can do anything on my Samsung Phone and continue on my Laptop
So what's your opinion on windows laptop for graphic design??
@@RihelSig WIndows does everything a Mac does, me personally would use WIndows for any type of work, graphics design included
As expected you offer the best in the world you deserve billions likes.
Ive used windows machines my entire life, so i just end up incredibly frustrated any time i have to use apple systems. Some of the software design choices in mac os genuinely make no sense to me
Love your content. Could you do comparism between surface pro and iPad pro too?
hey mysterious tech I have a question, what is the best way to transfer files and data from laptop to a desktop? I really need help
Linux crying in corner
Or maybe laughing.
@@dummyboy3233 hmmm
Sure it's laughing
No. Not bothering at all
sorry but
unix>linux>windows
I'd love to see a video on Linux. Great content, well explained for laymen. Thanks!
the best tech channel there is
just stopped by to give u a view n like cuz ur content is truly informational n simplified.
I have been using a Macbook pro for the past few days at work and I am not sure whether to like it or not. Honestly, Windows seems more intuitive but the battery life and performance is just crazy (at least compared to my Windows laptop from 2018)
I have to point out that Samsung has a similar ecosystem that Apple, with windows, they already have samsung dex, universal clipboard, quick share, phone link and Google drives, it also has other features like using your phone as a keyboard and track pad with any windows pc, their STabs can work as second display for any computer with their app, and so on, so the Android/Windows eco system is currently happening
Hi, Could you do a video on USB ports and types (dumb it down please)? What are Thunderports, USB -A 3.2 Gen?I just bought a computer and need to know what it all means for when it gets here. How to tell what's what? What will work together or will something else harm the computer? Oh, and can you mention what to look for regarding Dongles. I bought the HP Envy. It's confusing to a non tech person like myself. Thanks either way. Enjoy your vids.
I never knew such computer knowledge i like you
Macs have a "flat" frequency depending a LOT on where its being sampled since it uses the rear vents of the macbook to port out sound. This adds the apparenlty amount of bass and mids but destroys the 3D stereo soundstage that even the nintendo DS onward inhandled mode had over it.
Windows om the other hand doesnt have the sound stack for anything under 200ms latency
Amazing video!
Seriously i have done a lot of research to buy the perfect work tool.for me and your chanel is the best out there 👏
Can you do a video for how to choose a laptop for photo editing and 2d illustration work? Because the other video watch this before you buy a laptop doesn’t cover this part, or it wasn’t clear enough to choose a laptop for the said purpose. Thanks! I am binging on your videos btw :)
🎉good job! I’ve seen lots pof ppl biased towards Mac, treating windows is some third class, but actually windows is amazing! Loyal windows fanboy here
Windows audio and ui sucks sincerely ex windows fan boy here.
Both are good…both got their own place to shine…good video…use it to find what suits you the best and go ahead
Still remember that day, when I walked into the uni library and all the PCs were occupied, so I had to sit down in front of a Mac... I gave up and left after five minutes never looking back ever since. 😂😂😂
However, now that I want to get into graphic design and start to digitize my art, I wonder if this would be better done on a Mac? Rumors say, Macs are better for artists. Is his true?
Some topics I would love to see you covered: ultrabooks, tablets, chromebooks (for what, for whom, limitations, etc).
I have the same question
But I think windows offer more flexibility you Can do anything on windows: web development, graphic design, gaming, upgrade the hardware....
Looking forward some opinions for the best quality price portable computer which is good for work tasks and light editing, (not in 4K). Thank you all.
Best creator . Objective and honest
Sorry if I sound elite, but would it be possible for you to make a Linux video?
the ssd on mac hardware can be upgraded. there are lots of videos on youtube showing how !
I would love a breakdown of Final Cut Pro you explain things so well
You're the only one I'd listen to on this topic 😅
On point 👌🏽
Hey mysterious for coding can you please tell me which one should I go for. Mac or window
