I've seen a lot youtubers being biased towards mac and show Windows like some peasant software but you explained both the platforms in a fair way.
Cuz appearantly showing others you cam spend lots money is an easy way to gain influence or positive perceptions

@@dragonballjiujitsu not really though. I mean can it be improved upon, massively? Absolutely. Will I call it shit? Well, no. For me personally, Macs are unusable. I use my laptop for office and personal use, and I game in my free time. Something impossible to do on Mac with 99% games. Also the non-upgradeability really irks me off after spending so much on a machine (same goes for some Windows ultrabooks too that solder RAM)

Team Windows! I can live with the battery limitations, but my workflow is either at home or at an office desk.
I have both and macOS (like iOS and iPadOS) is wonderful for content creators/multimedia editing. Everything else is so much better in Windows. Since the M1, Apple computers are natively blocked to macOS and that limits functionality. From file management to more complex apps or even games, windows allows you everything, macOS don’t (I had to buy the app magnet to “stick” my windows where I wanted…). What that tells me? I have no need to update my Mac (M1) but makes all sense to keep updating my PCs as I can use that extra power; the extra GPU power with macOS is almost useless…

15:54 small thing, on the smasung galaxy book4 series you can do this too (universal clipboard), but only with samsung S-series devices. But for the rest it's a good video, I would only like you to mention the features in samsungs ecosystem too bc they work really good together aswell and pretty much on are par with apple's ecosystem.(with samsung ecosystem I mean like book 4 series, S24 series, tabS9 series, galaxy buds and galaxy watch) Overall good video👍🏽

What does unix have to do with web design? Servers, I understand, but just general web design doesn't matter what OS you use. Everything is browser based.
My brother had a windows laptop in college and he had some issues with it. He’s into engineering. My parents got him a Mac and he’s been able to use it for his 3D modeling just fine. This might be an exception though

Well, for gaming you always go Windows, but thanks to Valve you can do more gaming than before on Linux too. But Windows is still THE gaming OS

I would say Windows all the way. I don't do any video editing, but windows computers just seem so much more open and customizable. Maybe you don't need a great video card, but you want 64gigs of ram and 5 hard drives.

When the new M series came out, everyone was comparing benchmark numbers, how do we translate those numbers when making a purchase decision? For example a web developer or 3d modeller? Thanks !

As a music producer that used both Mac and PC, the Mac was REALLY bad for complex music. It got stuck at half the amount of plugins I used on my PC, to a point I couldn't continue making music on it. Not only that, many plugins don't work with Mac, and every OS update makes many of them slow or unstable. Without a doubt, Windows is great for music production.
Only advantages of mac are the ecosystem and battery life

The Universal Clipboard thing actually works on my ASUS Windows Laptop using the "Phone Link" app, I can do anything on my Samsung Phone and continue on my Laptop
