Went from an iPhone 11 with a 76% battery health to a 15 pro max and I’ve been blown away by it! Ended up giving the iPhone 11 to my grandpa because he doesn’t use it super often and wanted a phone with a nicer camera to get pictures of the eggs he sells, and he loves it too! Definitely don’t regret upgrading because it’s helped us both out a ton in day to day work!

I did similar thing with my mum. We're android family, but I decided to give an iPhone a try, and so far enjoying it. Gave my mom galaxy s20 which was still working fantastic.
me too.. i gave my iphone xs to my mom cos her phone is still 7 plus and its home button is malfunction already and 70% battery health i think, and now i got my 15 pro max :)

@@pprredojevicDefinitely not, 15PM wins overall in terms of video. But in terms of still images, night shots, and telephoto, not so much. Pixel 8 Pro is also worth looking since it just released yesterday, and they seem to be upping their AI significantly more.
The battery life is great. Idk why people are complaining about it. It’s not like you’re using your phone 24/7 and if your battery gets low, just charge it. It’s not like you’re forced to charge it once a day.
Ong, I have a 15 pro max as well and I barely have to charge it, I can use it all day and it will go from 100% to 60%
i used mine for 7 hours straight it it still had 29, I played league on it so if i didn’t maybe around 30-40

If you want 120hz without buying the pro model, Samsung has been putting this feature on their base models since a year before Apple put them on Pros
I used 120 hertz and instantly turned it off to save battery i didnt even see a difference
I was wondering why my battery was depleating so fast. After I downloaded iOS 17 my battery went from 97 down to 94 in the span of like 2 weeks, when it took almost an entire year to go from 100 to 97

Battery health generally only updates when your phone has a software update. Battery health is more accurately updated on larger software updates such as the jump from iOS 16 to iOS 17.

The trick to keeping your iPhone nice is ALWAYS having a super protective case on it.
I thought my iPhone 13 Pro Max was the best iPhone I ever had and lived it, but golly the 15 Pro Max is on another level, I love how light it is, how good it feels in the hand, the smaller bezels, always on display, the action button! I currently have it set to start my car, this time I went with the 1 tb in natural titanium so I won’t have to worry about space for the next 4 years! I’m making Thai iPhone last! I’m in love!

I been chillin since the 12 pro max. It’s fast af, and has been amazing to this day!! They have gotten to the point where they don’t need to drastically change much because it just works!

Always try my hardest to ignore all the ridiculous & over exaggerated rumors with each new iPhone. So thank u for confirming this belief. But I’m still waiting to upgrade from my 12 pro max once they make a complete screen to body ratio! But everyone is speculating that it won’t happen till 2026 😵💫.

I honestly thing the island is here to stay for a while. That being said, the thinner bezels feel incredible in the 15 pro max even compared to my 14pm
The camera/Face ID cutout honestly doesn’t eat into the screen real estate too much. It’s barely noticeable with their ‘dynamic island’ software integration. Having said that, if they do manage to get rid of the cut out, I hope they still somehow retain Face ID because it’s such a unique USP of Apple/iOS.
Wouldn’t upgrade, I also have the 12pro max, and I have friends with the 13,14 and 15 pro max and the difference are minor except video, which got boosted a lot. Sure it feels better and stuff but totally not worth the upgrade except you have a lot of money
@@crocker7687i get you bro, on my part, maybe i just had a bad phone but i went 11 pro max > 15 pro and it’s honestly a bigger of an upgrade than i thought it would be, the screen calibration or something is different bc it looks way better, the camera upgrade is INSANE, obviously the processor is also a huge upgrade, everything is better even though i came with the expectation that not much would change
I regret upgrading from 12 pro max for the 14 pro max, I will not upgrade until they redesign everything

Realized the heating issue ended up being an Instagram issue more or less 😮
Bought an iPhone 15 pro, it heats quite a lot, when charging or using or when updating or when transferring files, never experienced that often and that much heating even in my android phone of 1/5 the cost. Also, not at all impressed by the camera, my android phone takes better photos with better quality, the post processing these phones do is unbeatable by iPhone.

I am a photographer and understand how good the camera is for mobile but i think its a waste of money to upgrade from a 14 pro because it is a really good phone and i have never understood why people upgrade every year. Even if you can afford it i think its a waste

Agreed with the battery statement, mine has seemed to adjust to my day to day usage and lasts fairly better. The camera is insane. I’ve had it about two weeks and a half. Unknowingly got the titanium color and glad I did, seeing and thinking about the scratches.

Looking at my battery analytics, it’s certainly no surprise that Instagram drains so much of my battery. Hopefully Apple fixes this ASAP

I have 15 plus and trust it’s great I’ll not recommend to buy a promax model but if you want a upper level technology and more camera feature that’s good otherwise 15 plus is a decently perfect choice for somebody who use regular social media apps run daily task conviniently and take photos professionally/randomly
15 pro max is the way to go if you're into videos. Photos, not so much. Waiting now for the 24 ultra.... I do photos more than videos

I got a 14 Pro a few days before the 15 came out. I had no plans for a new phone, but my old one got water damage and it was just a better option to get a new phone compared to the cost of fixing my old one.
I'm disappointed in the quality of the cameras for a newer phone. I'm always fighting the focus on the lens. I expected better. Maybe once I update my phone again, in like 6 years, apple will have stepped up their camera quality.

They are rolling out a software update to fix the issues that are causing overheating. Poor software optimization makes the chip work harder than it needs to and this results in the heat. It’s not a hardware issue

I just got my iPhone 15 Pro as a well needed upgrade from my iPhone 6s, well worth the money imo, I love this thing so much!
People just cut apple some slack for no reason. The issue is not with software related and if apple is saying it is, then it’s most definitely the A17 pro being nerfed significantly, I believe a peak performance test will reveal this eventually.

Went from Samsung zflip 4 to 15 pro max let me tell you it feels so much better in every way possible especially because the battery life lasts all day if you’re not playing demanding games

I got it when it came out… coming from the XR I’m a very happy camper
I’ve had no overheating issues either, however the side of the titanium where the battery is closest to does get a tad warm at times.

i've had mine for a couple weeks, my battery life is perfect and a huge upgrade from my previous phone, no overheating whatsoever (so not the actual phones fault) even when i was playing a intense and extremely high graphic game for a long time and i've had practically no scratches or other physical issues either. loving it a lot
I’ve had a promax for a few weeks now and having every iphone since the 5 aside from the 11 pro and 12 pro max and this is by far best iPhone I’ve ever had
Here’s a question; you mention that the phone “learns” your usage and so can optimise the battery etc. if upgrading from a previous generation of iPhone such as 13/14, shouldn’t there be a way to send the data that phone already has about your usage across in the same manner that we transfer contacts etc? That way it has a model of how you use your phone from the get go

I would say the camera is soooo good. I don’t own a 15 pro max (I have a 14 pro max) but my sister does. She took some pictures out of my son with her phone when he was going to prom and the pics and videos she sent to me were amazing 🤩 . I really don’t remember my phone camera doing so good. I don’t take a lot of pics these days. I usually think iPhone’s camera is overhyped and don’t see anything special about it but nope not this one.
iOS 18 is very useful less heating issue and make more good battery timing ..!

from an iphone x to 15 pro max, ive hd no issues with overheating and the battery life is amazing, lasts me a full day of general use (social media, tiktok, phone calls etc) and will not need to charge it until the next day
I just switched from a Samsung S23 Ultra to a 15 Pro Max because I got a good deal with a new phone plan. So far the only time I had hearing problems was when I was setting it up, and I will say it was heating up so bad the phone would pause the iCloud restoration for a few seconds but I haven’t had any heat problems since. Even though the S23 Ultra has a bigger battery I am already blown away by how much better the 15 Pro Max’s is. I’ve had it off the charger, using on and off all day including scrolling through social media, messaging, watching Tik Tok during my break and streaming music for about an hour on cellular WiFi and watching tik tok at home in WiFi, and it’s was over 70% when I got home. I had it off the charger from about 1:30 PM until 10:30 PM. My S23 ultra consistently would be under get as low as 50 something % depending on how heavily I was using it. Only annoying thing is my phone is still saying it’s restoring data after over 24 hours with all stuff where it should be…. don’t quiet know what that’s about
So you think it's worth it? I have a note 9 and been looking for something but android is just too boring now, wanted to try iPhone but I know there are some software limitations that I dont have kn android, but supposedly that will be removed in the future. Was thinking of getting the 15 pro max or the 16 pro max

As a 15 pro Max user it’s absolutely amazing to use but I admit it’s not for everyone.
6 months later, after updates and updates, the heating issues never go away.
