Your mute presentation was the best. I had no idea that could be done. I have been using the action button as my mute but now I'm going to change that to something else and recall mute is now within the control center 🥇

Clear and concise presentation. Much appreciated. My work always gets me a new iPhone every year and this time I got the blue colored versus always normally getting black. I really like the looks of it. I do a lot of pro video and these iPhones are just as good as pro cameras we had 10-12 years ago.

Dude I just recently switched to the pro from a Samsung note 20 and had some problems adjusting to the iOS platform,but your videos are such a big help for people like me,thank you and keep doing what your doing.

I just got the 15 pro max yesterday and finally having a chance to explore. I came from a 13 pro max so it’s a huge change.
I wanted the natural but they didn’t have it. I got the blue one. Wish I’d got the titanium black now but it’s ok.

Hello, great video. I would like to ask if you know about any shortcut that can run camera and set format (for example HEIF max). I cant find it in Shortcuts app. I would like to use it for action button so if i push action button, i can shoot in high quality right away. Thank you for help.

the multiple action button shortcuts are a godsend. I changed them up a little bit to open spotify and act as a play/pause button when its open.

Thanks for giving me the idea to program the Action Button on my new 15 Pro Max. I did it manually but using your functions. It all works except for playing music in the Face Up Orientation. Any suggestions?
This is my 1st iPhone-Pro model which is the largest one, that I decided to choose Black, but the Natural Titanium is a really nice color too!

Battery wise you said to keep it at 100% instead of optimizing it to 80%. I have always had max's but I have RA and I wanted to upgrade from the 14 pro max but downsize to the 15 pro. Would that be good overall when picking between the 15 pro and 15 pro max?

I can’t find the shortcut with device orientation so I downloaded your shortcuts and it says „unknown action“ did they patch it out ?

Is there a setting we have for privacy that is inhibiting our ability to make the link work? It showed up in our options for shortcuts but said it was unable to load
It seems like you are calling a previously defined command which is not included in the script, so we get the “action not found” error.
Love the insight on this video! I tried to use the link for the orientation shortcut in the description but when I added the shortcut, it says 'unknown action'' in the set up of the shortcut. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Any help is appreciated as I really want to use this action button set up!

Found it! In case you wonder: you need to use condition togle: do not disturb instead of turn on: do not disturb

remove the line and add it again. (select action at the end "open app" and then drag and drop it under the if condition. then select the apple music app again

I have a comment on how the video was made. I had a problem with the constant movement of your hand holding the iPhone. It made me a little nauseous. Is there a way you could put it on a stand and still demonstrate the information? Otherwise ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I am on iPhone 15 pro max and immediately turned on 80% limit, i get home after work with 40% and 35% if i use it heavily, so this is perfect.
10:10 everyone keeps doing phone orientation and while that is great this is just chipping at the capabilities, because you can set the conditions to be coordinates, so when you are home it can work as silent switch, when you are at work it can work as a record button, when you are on the ground level of work it can become a starbucks order application etc, insane amount of capabilities, you literally create a script of what you want it to do, i havent been brave enough to implement it yet but I am drafting some ideas

I think one of the features nobody talked about is the double/triple tap on the back. Not sure if this was new last year but it’s been awesome

Hi and thank you so much for the video. I just got the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I am NO techie for sure. I’ve been watching so many videos and trying to learn a lot but it’s difficult. And why does everyone talk so fast and change screens so fast? I’m constantly stopping and starting again. The thing that is really hard to comprehend is the Action button. I guess I’ll get it…..hopefully. Anyhow your video helped a lot so Thank You.

I was actually surprised that my iPhone 15 pro battery lasts one and a half day with just normal use as it only have 3000+mah battery. It lasts better than my Poco F5 with 5000mah batt.
My last iPhone was actually iPhone 5 and for the last decade, had used Android phones ( Flashplus , XiaoMi A2, Redmi Note 8 pro, Galaxy A52s 5g, Nord CE 2 Lite and Poco F5).

Getting an error with iOS 17.3
The shortcut could not be run because an action could not be found. -- Shows the first action window, Unknown Action. This action could not be found in this version of Shortcuts. -- Guess Apple removed something.
Happened to me too, it turned out the phone needed an update (17.4). I re-installed the shortcut and re-ran it after the update and the Unknown Action error was replaced successfully by the Device Orientation command, however for some reason when I tap the Orientation Action Shortcut somehow it stops half way from running completely. If I hit the play button when in edit mode i can see it is stopping on the Music condition, which would make sense as I do not yet have any music in there. Would be great if this command line triggers playing Spotify instead. Gonna keep looking maybe I can find how this is done.

I have the 80% limit on the 15 Pro and I still have 20-30% at 9pm
Charging only to 80% is so silly. What’s the point of preserving the battery if you’re going to cut the battery life by 20% from day 1? Unless you’re keeping the phone for 6-7 years it’s useless
You don't know what you're talking about, so it's your comment that makes you look silly. Hardly anyone would want to respond to you. You should at least think about why Apple itself gave such an option. The people there are obviously not sillier than you.
Its even rediculous when keeping your phone for seven years my old iphone 8 was seven years old and when i sold it it still had 86% battery life and i used optimized charding . My phone lasted two days when new
Look up how lithium ion batteries work.. then you will understand why only going to 80% saves battery life. Batteries are under the most stress when they are below 20 and above 80 because the ions need to cram into spaces until there’s enough room for them. That’s why it can take electric cars just as long to charge from 80%-100% in the same time it takes to charge from 5%-80%.
Absolutely agree, let’s put it to 80% to avoid going to 80% after some years
@@Rayja3 I know how batteries work but it still doesn’t make sense. You’re already handicapping your battery by 20% from day one to avoid the battery losing capacity over the years. You’re literally doing the thing you’re trying to avoid lmao . How does that not make sense to people
