Thank you for making such a fantastic in depth review video, I’m in the process of ordering a 15 pro and was leaning towards the pro max but you reminded me of how difficult they are to use with one hand which I completely forgot about!

Downsized to the pro never getting a Max again. The novelty of a big luscious screen wears out after few months and you’re left with a cumbersome brick that’s pretending to be a phone. Way too much screen. Way way too much!

I went for the Pro 256gb over the max, prefer the smaller size for carrying round daily. I use my iPad for watching TH-cam etc so the bigger screen isn’t really an issue. Battery life is decent and lasts me a whole day but would prefer it to be a little better
Well we can’t get everything we want, so we’d have to put up with one or more caveats like all phones. As much as I want the Pro Max, it’s too big for me, and I also have an iPad like you to watch media lol. That’s exactly right! That’s what tablets are for! If you like to have a tablet as a phone then get the pro max. I have the 15 pro and 6.1” is just perfect for a smartphone and most people. Depends on your hands. If you have large hands then the Pro Max isn't going to be issue for you or you are the kind of person who frequently use your phone for heavy media consumption then the Pro Max is the better pick for you.
I dislocated my pinky in July on my bike and have used my 12 Pro Max even had to mildly adjust. However recently I upgraded to the 15 Pro max still resting on my pinky don’t know if that’s a good idea but love using the phone and it feels somewhat more comfortable due to the weight alone.
This is a very good review and I appreciate this video. The explanation of using the pinky to support the larger phone and how much you have to reach with your finger from one side to the other versus the smaller phone is very informative. Little things like this in reviews make a drastic difference in a decision being made on what to buy.
The pro max having an extra function doesn’t take away from the functionality of a regular pro. Wow people love to cut their nose off to spite their face.
Was looking for a good video about size comparison of 15pro and 15pro max. You pointed out things that I wanted to know. Excellent video. Liked and subscribed.
Pro max is def a 2 handed phone which can be a negative, but texting on a crammed pro is annoying and I do a lot of texting/emailing so I got the pro max. Plus the extra screen and battery is a plus 😊 you can always get a phone loop case or a pop socket for easier one handed use.
Great video! I've had the 11-14 pro max phones the last 4 years. This year I went with the 15 pro instead. I do notice the difference in battery life, but I really like the 15 pro for 1-handed use and for putting it in my pocket. The 14 pro max was def. a pain for 1-handed use. Also I am willing to take a little bit of a hit on the battery. I was charging the 14 pro max like once every 3 days. Now I charge my 15 pro once every 2 or 2 1/2 days. (I am not on my phone as much) but I am happy overall with my choice. Not to mention its a $200 dollar difference plus sales tax between the 2 phones. You have to remember you are going to put a case on these phones, which makes them even bulkier and any attachments on the back if you choose to do so.
Im going for Pro Max. For £200 mire I get more storage, bugger screen, battery and 5X Lens. If youre buying a 15 Pro for photography and video productions, these are essential. For regular days ill swap for my Pixel 7a
Specifically upgraded to the max over the regular pro this year because of the lighter weight and better zoom. My 13 pro had amazing battery life for a smaller device, but the max blows it out of the water. Loving it so far.
I feel most (average) users are struggling deciding between the 14 Pro/Pro Max and Regular 15/15 Plus this year since the 15’s got a massive upgrade. Would love a comparison video on these phones if possible and not just cameras, but speakers, flashlights etc. 😊
I have both the 15 Pro and 15 Pro max for different use, they are the same other than bigger battery and screen real state, but if I was chosing one I would chose the 6.1 15 Pro, its size and compactness are no brainer for me for a Pro iPhone.
Excellent breakdown. I like that you specifically addressed those who are 'curious' to go the max route. I think many people are hesitant because they've never tried but then you look at Samsung's flagship ultra.. it's even bigger and people don't bat an eye
Even tough the Pro Max has the 5x zoom, this is a type of lense that not a lot of people shoot with it. Plus, on the Pro max you are giving away the fact that your 3x and 4x zoom will look worst on the max because you don’t have these lenses. I shoot most with the 77m so the Pro for me fits best.
Fair enough!! I was going to mention those points as well but cut them out because for the average person those things won’t really be noticeable or make a difference. You seem to know what you’re talking about so it def makes sense you get exactly what you need. Great job!
just yesterday i was in store comparing the 3x on both the models. Because since I believe it is most usable telephoto focal length for average consumers and photographers like me as well(also i hav just that focal length on my present Samsung phone)
The worst part of using the pro max model is that we need to tilt the phone before hitting the icon / menu on the very left. Sometimes we will end up dropping the phone. I simply don't like the pro max model. The smaller the better and the pro model is just right.
After 6 years of going for the plus/MAX models I bought the pro version for the 15. 😬 This video gave me reassurance (until the end) also I've been talking myself into keeping it. I also just want to try to use my phone as a tool instead of relying on it for happiness.
I had an S23. I don’t think the pro max is to heavy. The differences aren’t that big. I got the Max. For me it’s easier to type with 2 hands. It’s the perfect width. Also it’s the perfect size for people like me who rather have one all around device instead of a tablet and phone. Great video bro and great information that I believe is quite helpful for people deciding.
Totally agree with u Hassan, the phone feels too light for it to be only 10% of so difference. I had the 13 pro max before and holding the 15 pro max was magical lol. The body also just wraps within your fingers.
Sammmmeeee dude. Didn’t think I would ever like the max on iPhones. But this year I went for it and got it on the 15pro max and my god it’s so much better. And you get use to it really fast, doesn’t even feel that bulky or big. The pro just feels hella small. The max now feels like how the iPhone should be.
Thank you for an informative video. I was actually torn on which model to get. I’m still using my 11 til now and any of these two looks like a great upgrade for me! ☺️
@@zaraali4015 I got the iphone 15 pro max, and I was able to use it in the concerts I’ve been. No regrets. Best cam to capture once in a lifetime moments like concerts, etc. The battery life is also so good! ☺️
Currently using a 13 Mini, along with my 5th Gen iPad Mini. Hoping for a new iPad Mini to be introduced before the end of the year - have been told it won’t be at today’s Apple Event, but you never know. Definitely upgrading to a 15 Pro. Just need to decide on the colour. Thanks for the content.
I compared both on the display models in store - and pulled up the exact same image on both to compare them side by side... I would say the max is about 5% more vibrant... which does not justify the price difference. In addition, the screen size of the max isn't that much larger, but still felt 'too big'. I was not concerned with the price difference, but I still ended up going with the pro reg.
Apple 11 Pro Max a very great phone that lasted a long time with a case or protective glass. Dropped many times but nothing happened...... now getting 15 pro max today...... hope and pray will be better than 11 ............ 🤣🙏
Love your video. Any problems adjusting to the bigger screen? I’ve had pros forever and just got the pro max. Have been having headaches. Not sure if it’s just my eyes adjusting to the size.
I have a s21 ultra. When I was in germany I was able to get my hands on the 15 pro Max and it's WAY lighter then the s21 ultra. Holding the pro max to me felt like I was holding the pro( compared to the weight of the s21 ultra)
what are you using to film this video? Its very clear and looks great. Looking to start shooting videos on a budget is the Iphone the best way forward? Thank you!
Appreciate the breakdown and like fact you addressed the point about people curious of going the max route. I for one looked at both phones and leaning towards the regular Pro just for convenience and also because I don't have large hands.
Excellent video. One question though. I moved from 12 Pro Max to 13 Mini due to its weight/ergonomics. 15 Pro despite being lighter than 14 Pro is almost the same weight as 12 Pro. Does it feel better than 12 Pro with the new edges etc if you've used the 12 Pro? Thanks
Yes I had the 12 pro as well! Can confirm this year it feels better overall. However if you’re using a case, you probably won’t feel the diff as well on the physical body. But if you go caseless, yeah you can notice it
I’ve had the 12 pro max for 3 years and I just ordered the blue 15 pro max! I have big hands and I’m always watching sports and videos so I like having a bigger phone, I’m pretty excited.
I have giant hands and while I can one hand most things using reachability and sometimes one handed keyboard, My pinky is usually supporting the bottom, which can get annoying. Also your thumb can only reach so far which when reaching the edge of the opposite side, it gets annoying too. I would say it’s definitely for the most part a 2 hand device.
Greetings, first time on the channel and I definitely appreciate your review! I have always been curious about the pro max and I believe this is the year that I will upgrade. I currently own an iPhone 13 mini and it’s great and all but I would love a camera upgrade being that I am an avid concert/show enthusiast and foodie! Solid review, very detailed and you have helped me make my decision!
Yeah literally changed to the pro max today. Purely off of battery life and the camera. I take abstract photos and the 5x zoom makes for nicer resolution and better compositions.
I'm only worried about the battery.. I was thinking of the 15 pro.. what do you recommend? with normal daily use does it arrive in the evening? (social media, photos sometimes and some games during the day) Is it worth getting the 15 pro max just for a little more battery? I've always had big phones so I wanted to get the 15 pro because it's smaller..(it's my first iPhone)
I'm thinking of switching from android to iphone. My last experience was with iphon 5 which i dis not like that much. Now I'm confused about which one to buy. Iphone 15+ or promax. Pictures and videos are a small part of my business. Battery life and large screen are my requirements. Hence not considering 15 or 15 pro. Any advice
My 15 Pro max is great upgraded from my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I am really enjoying almost everything about this phone. The 120hz refresh rate, always on display, the dynamic island, the titanium finish, and the weight. Apple is very simple with the OS but iOS 17 has been great. Love the nightstand mode and MagSafe is my favorite feature that Apple has ever created. Oh the camera is really good personally and battery life is a godsend. The model I upgraded to is the 15 Pro Max Titanium Blue 1TB (wanted to never worry about storage again)
Is the 15 Pro Battery life that bad? ( I’ve seen it’s even worst than reg iPhone 15) Honestly the only reason I’m leaning towards the Pro Max is Battery life.
I use 2 hands on every phone one holds it one scrolls it so size doesn’t matter I’m a carpenter so the little phone pocket on my leg might not hold the max so ye good call on the size it might be a problem so here I think size matters
Same here! Some brand of ‘Dickies’ work pans fit the Max no problem, but some are a bit short. No problem on width of phone, but the top will stick past opening of the slash pocket. Wrangler shorts cell phone pocket no problem with Pro or Pro Max. 👍
I’m so late to the game but I’m using a 12 pro max which I’ve had for 3 years now. It’s got to the point where I’ve lost screen brightness and it won’t charge all the way as it’s too hot and I often have to put it down to cool down before I can hold it again, etc. My first ever iPhone was in 2016 and I had the 6s. That lasted me 4 years and the jump to the 11pro was amazing! But going from the 11pro to the 12 max is no difference at all other than the size and I worry that if I fork out for a 15 series, I’m going to experience the same disappointment. My wrists and little finger kill me with the max as I’ve got such small hands and with my Crohn’s disease, my muscles and bones have issues, But I do love taking photos so I’m so damn unsure what to do. Any advice would be great ❤ is the camera REALLY that much better? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
You can already do that I learned it the other day lol hold the emoji button on the bottom left side of your keyboard then you’ll see three keyboard icons that will make your keyboard right or left so that you can use it one handed I try to use it when I’m driving
I got the max not even thinking about the size, but as a firm believer in pop sockets, I’m not super concerned about carrying it with just my pinky, as my whole hand is usually supporting me phone!
I miss the time when iSheeps make fun how Samsung S3 was too big and that the smaller iPhone 5s was just about the right size. When iPhone went big with 6 and onwards, they no longer want the smaller iPhone. Those were the days. Anyway, I'm about to switch to iPhone after a decade with Android. Still struggling to decide between 15 pro and 15 pro max. 😂
They both are great phone to be honest , it just comes down to preference I mean when I had the 6 plus back in the day I felt like it was big phone. So I downgraded to the 6s and stayed with that size since then. Now I want a bigger phone for that battery size I’m a heavy phone user.

I feel most (average) users are struggling deciding between the 14 Pro/Pro Max and Regular 15/15 Plus this year since the 15’s got a massive upgrade. Would love a comparison video on these phones if possible and not just cameras, but speakers, flashlights etc. 😊
Noted! I’ll definite see if Apple can send me something to work with here.
I tried to go with a base this yr. Can’t go without promotion. It’s drastic
14 pro > base 15. The 14 pro has the better camera and features. Both are the same price and same chipset
I've always went pro but this year I'm doing the regular 15
Really appreciate your work, time and editing. I got the video which I wanted. So , no doubts at all in selecting the size..❤ good job 👍.
Thank you so much!! I’m so glad I could help and appreciate you watching!! Makes all the effort worth it.
I have both the 15 Pro and 15 Pro max for different use, they are the same other than bigger battery and screen real state, but if I was chosing one I would chose the 6.1 15 Pro, its size and compactness are no brainer for me for a Pro iPhone.
same here
Pro is for regular body ppl user... pro max for fatguy user ^^
what about battery performance?
@@souravray6332 Battery performance is a lot better on the Pro Max due to its bigger size
@@Devilivan6269 shaddup already repeater cheater
May be the most helpful video I have seen so far comparing these two phones.. Thanks..
Than you for watching!! Appreciate the kind words. Glad I could help.
That 6:24 😂 saying Bismillah before purposely dropping it. 😅🙈 😂. Though i liked it
Excellent breakdown. I like that you specifically addressed those who are 'curious' to go the max route. I think many people are hesitant because they've never tried but then you look at Samsung's flagship ultra.. it's even bigger and people don't bat an eye
It's longer, problem with the pro max is the width
Where does he mention the curious part?
Also which one did you end up choosing
The iPhone is very heavy
The new S24 is amazing
iPhones are beautiful in the hand. Not the Androids. The S24 nope.
@@piyushkashyap2322pro or Pro max is better bro?
😊
@@TausifHussain So if my ONLY concern is 3-4x on a camera maybe the regular PRO is for me?
That Bismillah before dropping the phone melted my heart ♥️
The worst part of using the pro max model is that we need to tilt the phone before hitting the icon / menu on the very left. Sometimes we will end up dropping the phone. I simply don't like the pro max model. The smaller the better and the pro model is just right.
" I have tiny hands" as intro is wild XD. I love it
Hahaha appreciate you watching !!
Thank you. Been trying to decide between these two.🤗
After 6 years of going for the plus/MAX models I bought the pro version for the 15. 😬 This video gave me reassurance (until the end) also I've been talking myself into keeping it. I also just want to try to use my phone as a tool instead of relying on it for happiness.
Facts about “using it as a tool instead of for happiness”. I’ve been trying but reels are so addictive, you got this
I’ve really been wanting to use the smaller pro just so I can use it more comfortably and it can fit into pockets better.
That's my one concern. I just wish that they both had a 3x & 5x zoom, but oh well.
What a great review , literally couldn't decide which one to get😂 answered all my questions
Wich one did you get?
Whatdya get?
awesome reviews, very honest and actually helpful!! Thank you!
Bro, wonderful content. Proud to see you here. Keep up the good work. 👍
Thank you for bringing up the pinky thing. Because I my pinky finger already struggles with just the pro models. So no 5x for me 😭
You adapt to the phone no matter the size after like 2 days
I had an S23. I don’t think the pro max is to heavy. The differences aren’t that big. I got the Max. For me it’s easier to type with 2 hands. It’s the perfect width. Also it’s the perfect size for people like me who rather have one all around device instead of a tablet and phone. Great video bro and great information that I believe is quite helpful for people deciding.
First time watching you and I really liked it. You're really funny and entertaining! Will go for the 15 Pro btw. Perfect Allrounder.
Totally agree with u Hassan, the phone feels too light for it to be only 10% of so difference. I had the 13 pro max before and holding the 15 pro max was magical lol. The body also just wraps within your fingers.
Great video. I am loving my 15 pro max and definitely not going back to the smaller pro size again.
Same for me
You think i should get it?
Does it overheat?
Same here every one was right you definitely get use to the size of it lol
Sammmmeeee dude. Didn’t think I would ever like the max on iPhones. But this year I went for it and got it on the 15pro max and my god it’s so much better. And you get use to it really fast, doesn’t even feel that bulky or big. The pro just feels hella small. The max now feels like how the iPhone should be.
Also love the bigger battery, better speakers, better screen and camera. Just better all around
I don’t knw much abt pro max, just received my pro natural titanium color. Its amazing so far n I am happy wid my purchase
Thank you for an informative video. I was actually torn on which model to get. I’m still using my 11 til now and any of these two looks like a great upgrade for me! ☺️
Out of curiosity what did you end up getting? I’m in the exact same Sito
@@zaraali4015 I got the iphone 15 pro max, and I was able to use it in the concerts I’ve been. No regrets. Best cam to capture once in a lifetime moments like concerts, etc. The battery life is also so good! ☺️
I was at the Apple Store testing the Pro Max because that was the one I wanted, and it slipped on the first try. Realize I had to just buy the pro
Comparing it which of them have better definition seeing video??
Currently using a 13 Mini, along with my 5th Gen iPad Mini. Hoping for a new iPad Mini to be introduced before the end of the year - have been told it won’t be at today’s Apple Event, but you never know. Definitely upgrading to a 15 Pro. Just need to decide on the colour.
Thanks for the content.
No non scenes perfect common sense explained clearly! Thank you for making me decide easily!
Great video bro you just got yourself a new sub! 🤙🏼
If 15 pro had that 5x lense (which I prefer), this would be an easy choice. 🙄
Yea why would they do that smh they both pro’s they should be the same!
Which pair will suits better one i phone 15 pro max or s23 ultra vs one i phone 15 pro or 15 pro max ... tell ur suggestion. Buddy 👊
bigger phone means more room for bigger specs. regular pro is still more optimal in my opinion.
THE MOST IN-DEPTH COMPARISON I'VE EVER WATCHED ON THE INTERNET!
what are you using to film this video?
But if you go caseless, yeah you can notice it
I currently have the 12 pro max. For me that’s a 2 phone. Using a pop socket turned it into a single hand phone. Easy peasy!
Pro Max is just too big for me. Bigger isn't always better.
While regular pro is too smaller for me. 6.4 inches would be perfect
@@zenssdv493 6.3 inches display in ip16 pro is the sweet spot
The silent yes after asking if getting carpal tunnel was worth it 🤣This was the best review I have seen on these 2 devices!
😂😂😂 thank you so much. This means a lot. Appreciate you for watching!
If I have a MacBook, is the regular pro enough? 🤔
yes
thanks, mate. this is the perfect review for someone on fence about getting max iphone
I’ve had the 12 pro max for 3 years and I just ordered the blue 15 pro max! I have big hands and I’m always watching sports and videos so I like having a bigger phone, I’m pretty excited.
I have giant hands and while I can one hand most things using reachability and sometimes one handed keyboard,
My pinky is usually supporting the bottom, which can get annoying. Also your thumb can only reach so far which when reaching the edge of the opposite side, it gets annoying too.
I would say it’s definitely for the most part a 2 hand device.
Guess You couldn’t cut it as a Marine then? 😮 😆 Thanks for your service! 😊
An honest and genuine review with simple to understand details 👏🏼
I'm only worried about the battery.. I was thinking of the 15 pro.. what do you recommend? with normal daily use does it arrive in the evening? (social media, photos sometimes and some games during the day)
Is it worth getting the 15 pro max just for a little more battery?
Thanks very much for the extremely helpful information and great video, Tausif! I have chosen the iPhone 15 Pro Max as a result 🤩📱
Great review - entertaining and detailed!
Thank you!! Appreciate you watching man! 👊🏼
This year the iPhone 15 pro max it’s smaller and slimmer. It’s basically the same size as the Pixel 7 which is the perfect size for all phones.
Which camera do you use for your videos?
There’s an option in iOS to make your keyboard right or left justify so you can use the max one handed, so that’s a big help
You can already do that I learned it the other day lol hold the emoji button on the bottom left side of your keyboard then you’ll see three keyboard icons that will make your keyboard right or left so that you can use it one handed I try to use it when I’m driving
Went from S21+ to Iphone 15 Pro, no regrets!
I'm going to do the same !
Which is better for concerts?
I got the max not even thinking about the size, but as a firm believer in pop sockets, I’m not super concerned about carrying it with just my pinky, as my whole hand is usually supporting me phone!
Great review as there is a mere nuance between the two options & the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max larger battery is what makes business sense 👍
This was such a good review thank u so much!!
Glad I could help! Thank you!
Still using the iPhone 7 and will probably upgrade next month. I will go for 15 pro.
Great video. Thank you.
Did you make a decision yet?
@@foru2c I went with iPhone 15 Pro Max
@@DreiK96do you like the pro max or do you think it’s too inconvenient due to the size?
@@ekeviouschappell7675 a bit bulky. I like Pro's form factor better than the pro max but you have to sacrifice for the 5x Optical Zoom.
@@DreiK96 if you could do you think you would’ve chosen the 15Pro knowing what you know now? Or would you still keep the 15PM?
Hi, I have been using S23 ultra as my primary phone. And now im looking for a secondary phone. Which one's better??
They both are great phone to be honest , it just comes down to preference I mean when I had the 6 plus back in the day I felt like it was big phone. So I downgraded to the 6s and stayed with that size since then. Now I want a bigger phone for that battery size I’m a heavy phone user.
