@@BeeAboveAverage Question regarding the atmospheric BOV. From the research I've found isn't it much better for you to have a recirculating BOV instead of atmospheric?
This was a seriously good video dude. I have been wrenching on the EJ on and off for 8 years now and this helped refresh my memory to do my TGV deletes in my 19 STi this week. Killer content man!
Love these videos man. Thanks for being super in-depth about these installations, they’re extremely helpful! This is probably a no brainer, but you’re probably run E85 with all these parts that you’ve installed so far huh. Do you think you’ll be getting e-tuned or pro-tuned with all these parts?
TheSuaveBOSS I got pro-tuned already. And I will do flex fuel later down the line. I’m supper bummed out about my protune day because I don’t have any of the footage I took 😭
I hate this removal, struggling with the 2 bolts of the bottom driver side, i think i needbone more bolt to remove the fuel rail bracket on driver side as well, major pain in the ass
Ask a friend to help out and make it something fun 👍🏼 It’s not hard if you take your time. After all of this you will gain some more knowledge on this car and save a lot of money in the process 😁
Awesome vid , I'm going with a very similar setup on my bugeye WRX.. I'm trying to find this similar setup on the older 2.0 models but I'm not finding any videos besides the new Subarus I might make a video I literally have all of these parts you have just different brands and a whole lot more.. but everybody seems to be interested in the new models not outdated 2.0 models I guess
Aaron Torres Make some videos man! There is probably more people that own your car than there is that own mine. Those are the people that would love your videos. I just did my pro tune. I’ll make a video about what it made on the dyno. I had an issue on my computer and lost random clips here and there from my install and some of the clips were from my dyno day. So I won’t be able to make a video on that itself but I will make one of showcasing the car and how it sits currently.
I appreciate that man! Life been really stress full recently so it’s been hard doing TH-cam or trying to stay active on it. But I’m gonna try to get out of this funk soon and get back to it!
BRETT CROWTHER I try not to make the installs seem scary for people XD I want to show that anyone can do it, just have to take it in steps. And I know what your talking about with that bolt, but that wasn’t the only one that was a pain in the ass 😭
The internal wastegate bracket is annoying to shove into the damn turbo. Ya gotta hammer it in to keep the internal wastegate from flappin lol. At least for me.
From “Part 1” to “Installing my ETS fmic” video it was a nonstop 3 days of work that I had to do. Started Friday morning, worked all day, ran into issues here and there that slowed me down. Worked all day Saturday. Started up again Sunday morning and worked up intell 6 am Monday morning where I finally finished and drive down to English at 8am for the tune. It was wild
If I didn’t run into issues with missing pieces and needing to wait for stores to open up or needing to spontaneously buy a Header for the car I believe this can be done within 2 days
Be Above Average Sweet. Thanks for the response. Due to this virus I have 2 weeks to get this whole setup done. 🤞🏽 I’m gonna need you on standby just in case 😉
It doesn’t “have” to come out. It’s so easy to take it out so I do it to give myself extra room, also I like to remove it to prevent damage. Can’t tell you how many times people lean on the filters and bend them up.
E85STI If you lost some coolant, just fill it back up to where it should be and than run the car with the cap off to bleed the air out of it and you should be good. I actually did a whole coolant flush on my car because it was another maintenance thing I wanted to take care of while I was at it.
@@BeeAboveAverage looking forward on doing this on mine, great install btw, im on stage 2 at this time, but I got my new parts...(ETS FMIC, CSF Racing Radiator, Killer B Holy Header, AEM Fuel Pump,Grimmspeed Up Pipe, 38mm Tial, Tial Bov, IWG bracket, Speed Density kit, Grimmspeed 3 port EBCS, Perrin turbo inlet same one you have, IAG TGV) the rest I'll leave it to my tuner, injectors, e85 kit. Still debating whether doing turbo inlet and removing the intake manifold, your video is helping me out and ill probably will go for it.
Cool. I’m in Issaquah looking for someone to help me to take the intake manifold out so I can perform Air pump delete. I got the code deleted but one of my solenoid I think stuck open. Would that cause an issue if I leave them in the car for now?
This should be a great series of videos. Looking forward to them all.
Ezequiel1974 Thank you :) Part 2 comes out tonight
So glad I found your channel, love seeing the progression and how helpful you are when it comes to details on how you did everything.

Brandon Millette If you get it tuned on Speed density it runs just fine :) That is what I did :)

Hi man, with cobb fuel lines, did the hesitation between 2500-3300 rpm fix?
hey great vid, please also add up the video from the missing section.
Did you have to remove the tgv motor on the drivers side too? To get that metal cover off?
Hey man, great video. I have a question, when you tuned your car did you have a wide band when you tuned it? Is it necessary?
I had it pro tuned so It wasn’t required for me. I have yet to get one of those for my car. Typically you would need that if you’re e-tuning :)

Why doe the intake have to come out completely for a tgv delete?
It doesn’t “have” to come out. It’s so easy to take it out so I do it to give myself extra room, also I like to remove it to prevent damage. Can’t tell you how many times people lean on the filters and bend them up.
@@BeeAboveAverage makes sense for the coolant over flow tank once it goes back on did you have to bleed the system or just fill it as its an overflow?
