    Another great install. Good to see it visually before i do my tgv's, injectors and lines. Thank you!

      BRETT CROWTHER I had a lot more footage that I took but I accidentally overwrote a bunch of it and I have random clips missing. I’m glad I could still make a decent enough video to help :)

    Leaking because the lube you put on the feed line was not you that connector it was for the threads of the fuel line AN fittings. Probably why everything was leaking, also I would recommend an AN adjustable wrench. Great video man. Love the vibes in that garage!

    What did you do with the evap line? Just run a new line from the solenoid to the firewall?

    How did the car run right with no fpr. That’s why it didn’t come with the extra Y because the lines were supposed to connect to one.

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure what you are trying to say 🤔 The car does have a FPR and the Y that they didn’t supply is supposed to be installed.

    Is it possible, even if it's not easy, to remove the stock fuel rail and install the aftermarket rails and lines? Thanks for the video. I am not doing TGV deletes yet, but want to install the rails and injectors, which I know the injectors can be done thanks to a video from Smeedia. I am just not sure if the rails can be swapped without removing the intake manifold, which I'm trying to avoid.

    • @BeeAboveAverage

      I’m pretty sure you can do it, check out baderbuilt, and he might have done it in one of his videos.

      @@BeeAboveAverage Thanks bro! It just didn't make sense to take the entire intake manifold off to replace them. Have a good one and I have been subscribed to you channel for a long time now!

  • @E85_STI
    @E85_STI 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    So i did the tgv deletes and threw my manifold back in but left the manifold loose. Ive seen a video where the guy put the turbo inlet in with the manifold bolted down. Do you think its possible to throw on the inlet with the manifold on but loose? I really dont want to take the manifold off anymore.

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’ve seen someone do it with the manifold on as well. It’s totally doable, and not having it bolted down gives you that much extra room. I’m not saying that you won’t have to bend the shit out of it to make it go in but I’m sure it will eventually 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Did you have any leaks with the tgv phenolic spacers without putting oem gaskets on top of the phenolic also. I just got mine finished ran mine the same way block/oem gasket /phenolic spacer/ tgv. Mixed reviews on if a oem gasket should go on top of the phenolic also. I'd don't want rip mine back apart just to put a oem gasket on top of the phenolic also

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No leaks for me. It seems to be running great so far. I was confused at first on that order aswell because people do it different ways, so I just ended up doing it the way I did and it worked out for me so far. Let’s hope it stays that way 😆

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BluPrynt78 I’m not sure because it never specified that when I bought them. They just had the option to “Add phenolic spacers” so I did. But the thicker they are the better I would assume since it would soak up more heat. Just have to make sure all your bolts fit properly.

    In your opinion? How difficult was this install? It looks tedious.
    I’ve done 4 bolt-ons to my 18 wrx and I’ve installed an AOS to my STi. Never messed with fuel systems b4.
    I’ve had an aircraft mx job the last 7yrs but aircrafts still aren’t vehicles lol.

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      JOE V It wasn’t too bad in my opinion. I think with what you have already done this won’t be much harder. Just take it slow and in steps and you shouldn’t have a problem :) I would say the install looks scarier and harder than it really is.

    • @joev8275
      @joev8275 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s literally everything you did but in reverse order right? Any hiccups while assembling everything back together?

    • @BeeAboveAverage
      @BeeAboveAverage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      JOE V Everything went back together good, I just had a couple fuel leaks from a injector and hose but not a big deal just didn’t properly seat the injector so it pinched the o-ring and made it leak, and the hose just wasn’t tight enough. Other than that it went smoothly.

  • @michaelwhalen9515
    @michaelwhalen9515 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Lol imagine making a how to TH-cam video for TH-cam but you use TH-cam to make the video… love the effort bro but you are giving yourself a hard time and increasing the chances of braking sometimes or making it inoperable. Just a fyi the harness intake manifold fuel lines and tfn come out as one whole unit. Sorry for judging hard but it’s hard to watch you struggle taking it all apart.
