You are absolutely right about the how smooth and quiet the Model 3 drives. I test drove the Model Y and the Model 3 and I felt every bump in the Model Y. I will place an order the end of May.

Faiz, you didn’t talk about my favorite feature because I get very sweaty in the vinyl seats. The front seats are ventilated now and all seats are perforated, if perforations by themselves make any difference. I bet that you didn’t think about it because it’s winter in Atlanta! With no stalks, how do you activate the windscreen wipers? I have a model 3 and the ONLY thing I’d wish for is more control of the wipers on the stalk. That seems like a backward step.
You cannot not be wowed by this car, it feels so refined. I've recently driven a BMW X1 and new Altima and the ride experience pales in comparison to the new Model 3.

Just test drove the car for the weekend! Love the confort improvement! I just don’t get why they took the stocks out, especially the blinkers, so less intuitive…
cup holders are small asf and don't fit large cups, steering wheel feels amazing, suspension feels amazing, the amber in the headlights arent that bad but i wouldn't miss the yellow.

Unfortunately Tesla doesn't offer referral points with the new model 3 !!! 😡😡😡 I would know as I ordered the M3 LR two weeks ago. First EV and don't even get to experience the referral points or the hedgehog !! Wtf Tesla. The car is gorgeous. It's fast, extremely quiet, comfortable to name a few. Stealth Grey black interior. Phoenix Arizona
0:26 (and at 7:00 and any that i missed) does not even use the blinker. This brings me to the biggest issue i have with this car. its hard to use blinkers when teh wheel is at an angle. I worry people will use their blinkers less. I like this car but this blinker is hard. I am someone that uses the blinker ALL the time. Even in parking lots and and stuff. I wonder how hard it will be to get used to
at 806, you can see the front blinker so thats good! :)
That's pretty good if your biggest issue with a vehicle is possibly not being able to use a blinker
@@Jo060 i have since bought the car and used it lol. turns out using the buttons for the blinker isnt so bad. idk how long the button will last though. hopefully wont wear out
Great review, Since the model 3 2024 is not eligible for $7500 tax rebate, and model Y is, would you recommend going for the model Y because it will effectively be cheaper?
That’s a great question! Personally I love the Model Y as I love SUVs and the extra space and comfort they bring. Especially with the $7500 tax credit, the Model Y in my opinion is the better choice
Why does it not qualify
Does the touch screen work when wearing gloves? I would hate to have to take my gloves of just to put the car in gear.
The Tesla touch screen doesn't work with 'normal' gloves.
There are gloves that do work, similar to how there are gloves that works with your phone.
Also, there is another way to put the car into gear. Above your head (where your hazard lights are),
there are hidden buttons to put your car into gear. Just tap it and they will show up (see video below).

I mean... how many people wear gloves when driving? Especially when you have a heated stearing wheel. Maybe it's just my country/culture, but in 20 years of being on the road... i've never seen somebody drive with gloves on. So I guess it would only be inconvinient for a very small group of people.
On top of that, it has auto-shift aswell. So when you're in a parking bay, it will now to put it in reverse to back out of it. I would say in 90% of the cases it will already 'guess' correctly which direction (drive or reverse) you want to go. Then for the other 10%, you've got TWO options to shift manually.... the touch screen and (hidden) buttons. I don't think that's too bad when it comes to being user friendly.
@@jordyvanschaik6144 Everyone I know drives with gloves on in the Midwest Winters where the temperatures get well below zero degrees. So, I don't think the group is as small as you think.
Other then the front lights dont care for the wheel and back screen update

Of course. Regen braking is in all Teslas.
Some of the new features are overhyped. I have the new model 3 and rolled over from an old model 3. Interior is not much quieter. Suspension doesn’t feel any softer than the old and indicator buttons sometimes get sticky and don’t work
Drove the new Highland yesterday. Owned the 2021 Model 3, drove for 6 months. Without
complaining about all the issues with the former Model (and oh my there were MANY)
the new Model 3 is better! Ride is smoother! Car is quieter! Sound system…so good! Seats, more firmer and very supportive, good job. Interior still looks cheap…cuz it is! But this is a great entry level car! That’s fun to drive….thats it.
It’s still full of weird gadgetry. Did Tesla save $20 a car by taking away the turn signal stalk?
Sorry, right and left are confusing, as they are “stacked”. Tesla still is still plagued with fit and finish problems/service problems. Best charging infrastructure! Lotsa trade offs here.

Is it true that the new Model 3 has less leg room than the old Model 3?
It gives the illusion that it’s less. But it’s not less. The rear seats have been raised slightly so there's less of a "knees in the air.”
That driver side ambient lighting alignment really irks my soul. I hope the Shanghai built ones don’t have that.

Trust me I loved CarPlay but Tesla’s user interface is so nice and intuitive you won’t miss CarPlay

There are better EV’s I agree. But I am talking only to the US market. No biasedness my friend. The BYD Seal is impressive but not available in the US market. As for the Model 3, it’s unanimously being reviewed as amazing
