We’ve had our 2024 model 3 for a little over a month now and I’m completely obsessed! It’s soooooo much fun to drive, my husband and I fight over who gets to drive it when we’re together. One of my only complaints and it’s a weird one, is that the stitching on the steering wheel is on the back of the wheel and it’s super uncomfortable to hold on to while driving. Otherwise, I absolutely love this car!❤
Same, I’m doing a trade in for my old vehicle, but it’s saying that the trade-in is pending. Do you know how long Tesla takes for that when it’s pending?
I was actually set on the Model Y as a family car, but the updated looks of the Model 3 (It almost looks like a Model S which is really good!) + the rear screen and ventilated seats is more important than the size of the car.
they are about to update the model Y just like they did for the model 3, so maybe wait a little bit and then decide between the new Y or 3! just some advice
You honestly get used to it. I felt the same way but I've had my 2024 model 3 two weeks now and it's second nature. It's honestly the best car I've ever had and amazing value for the price.
Had my first Tesla the new model 3 since May 7, 2024, and the stalls missing took only a couple days to get used to. The screen swipe was easy. Honestly my wife’s new Model Y she got last week is weird to me because shifting upwards for reverse and downwards for drive is weird.
I have the 2019 model 3 and I love it and I was thinking of maybe in the Future upgrading to the new one but Everytime I see the front of it and no fog lights and the lights being really small I just wouldn't pick it over mine personally I think tesla went backwards instead of forward with the look at least front the front
You can child lock rear screen. In new spring update the auto shift can not only detect going forward or backward at start but also at 3 point turn. Auto turn signal on navigation is coming in future update.
There are more annoying features that are making my decision tough after a driving test. 1. signal lights, it’s really annoying, or even impossible, to use those buttons when you are in certain situations, like inside a round abound and you need to signal to exit. Impossible. 2. The fixed regenerative break. It’s annoying that before Tesla let you select the intensity of it. Now you have to accept a level that maybe lots of people are not comfortable at all. 3. The speed number is a small square at the top left corner. In certain situations, because of the wheel is blocking the corner, you have to move your head to actually see at what speed you are driving. 4. everything, absolutely everything has to be done through the iPad. Its ok for lots of features, but definitely a minus when you need to use some features while you are driving. Man, it’s a he’ll tapping with your finger all the menus to just, let’s say, open the clima and set the vents, while the car is moving or the road is bumpy. From my point of view, the engineer in charge of the car interface was really unsuccessful.

@@Ace-xt8lv I don't use Tesla's insurance, cause I've read a lot of complaints about people's rates going up for what it claimed were excessive hard braking and accelerating and other stupid stuff. I'm currently paying ~$160/mo for coverage on my Model Y Long Range.

What the Model 3 Performance gets are adjustable dampers in that the firmness characteristics can be configured to your driving style, whether you prefer a more comfortable ride, or you want a little more of a harsh ride which will also help improve handling around corners.
