- Lost footage of a tragedy averted.
As we were prepping for Harvesters in the Holler we discovered a huge issue with Nugget. The Alaska Highway almost ripped off our bumper and the Dingleberry too! So with 3 days to go we replaced the bumper and rebuilt the connections. Check it out!
Well dog gone, I was starting to think you had done gone, and fell down the second hole in the two holler. Good to see you back.
Life just got busy. Been remodeling a house, but that is coming to an end. Time to get back out there. Watch for another big trail ride video. We have a trip planned at the end of the month.
I was excited to see this video come up get some more made 😊
Will do. We are making another trip of vintage vehicles to a trail in Kentucky at the end of the month so watch for another group trail ride video. Thanks for sticking around.
Every time I see one of your videos- I want to go outside and get my 800 running- Hopefully Spring will be here soon, these old bones don't like the cold anymore and it's about to snow in N. Utah lol
Thanks man. Slow and steady wins the Scout race. Get her together and we’ll see you on the road. 👍
Happy to see you are back. Funny I spent the fall making a bumper for my 800b. I use the same approach as done on Seven Bar Salvage. Poking through the c-channel allowing me to run a piece of flat stock into the frame , hopefully that holds up well.
That sounds like a solid approach to making a bumper. It should hold up nice I would guess. 👍
Hopefully. I appreciate the videos!
Great video. I like the way the bumper wraps around the corners looks like it might help protect those near perfect end caps. Hope you have a video in the works on that sniper set up.
I worry a little bit about hooking something on the trail, but if I’m that close, I probably have bigger problems. As for the sniper that project took me over a year and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Normally I don’t mind videoing my stupidity, but that was a bit much even for me. 😂 I will say if you try to do it and you have trouble with startups I found that there is a dead spot in her ignition. As you try to start it, it actually shuts down the computer for a second creating an issue. I fixed it by installing a time delay relay in the ignition. The time delay keeps the power on for a couple seconds after you turn the key off, which would get me past the dead spot in the ignition.
Do I spy a J truck in the background? Step bits are a metal worker's best friend. Looking forward to the trip.
Yeah, my boy’s LS swapped behemoth. It’s his project but it’s coming together, one step at a time.
