OMG! Just tested the process and finally something worked! I make all my designs with Adobe AI and PS and cutting with Silhouette Cameo (this would’ve never worked with Cricut 😒). Other than stickers, Im printing on plain paper for my memo pads and planners, the result was amazing! Finally my products looks professional! Love it and thank u so much!
Such cute stickers! Your stickers are loved by everyone in this house -- even Dexter the dog. (Who says to tell you they're not just cute, but delicious. Silly Dexter!!!)
Very informative video, thank you. Have picked up and understood some of what I'm doing wrong. I have the cameo 4. My sticker sheets are cutting well except for the sheet border. It's cutting as the kiss cut rather than the full cut. I have my settings like yours and line is blue so its separated. What am I doing wrong for the sheet border not to do the full cut? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much!
I would recommend first trying to bump up the Force number a few notches, if that doesn't work you could also try increasing the number of passes or the blade depth! Hope this helps, let me know how it goes! :))
I actually did try that. It seems like it's just using the one cut setting. I upped the settings, and I cut the stickers and almost through the backing and equally the same to the border. It's like it's not toggling to the 2nd line layer. Once I think I've got it, I don't. I'm totally confused. I've been fighting with settings for like days now. I have a 3 and a 4 cameo, and I'm getting closer to being perfect except for that 2ndary cut. I did find that under the line tab where I have the kiss cut and full cut with different line colors. Then there is the layer tab. Can you show me your layer tab and see if it's supposed to have 2 layers there as well as the 2 in the line tab. I'm wondering if that is my problem and wondering if so, how to fix it. I can send you screenshots to show what I mean if you want and how to send em.
Not sure if you’ve found a solution but…I saw a different video on TH-cam describing this issue. The work around was the user made a file for the sticker backing and a separate file for the stickers themselves. Then, in the program for her cutting machine, she duplicated the sticker backing page 4 times and grouped them together (4 backing sheet files plus 1 sticker file). Her machine would cut the backing out 4 times while only kiss cutting the stickers one time. She was using a cricut so not sure if the same process could be done with the silhouette.
My workaround for Silhouette printing so crappy was to downgrade my Silhouette Studio software!! Printing from Photoshop was sooo annoying after some time
Hmm, I've never had grey dots come up before, that's frustrating :( the only guess for a solution I could make is to make sure you're zoomed in close so that you're certain you're clicking on your original cutlines when you hit delete. I hope this helps/that you find a solution!!
Ty for this video! So helpful! I see it’s been a year, I hope you’re still enjoying making & selling these lovely stickers!
thanks so much for the kind words 🥰 I most definitely am!
