V HELPFUL! I've been extremely intimidated by my circuit and now feel quite a bit more confident to FINALLY give it a go! thanks so much for taking the time to share! you rule :-) !
This was super helpful! I was wondering how to do all the process before getting silhouette machine arrives. But this helps me so much! Thank you very much for doing this! 😊
wow this is so helpful thank you so much! but i have a question i'm using cameo 4 and when i can with it the top of the page cut perfectly but at end it start to cut off center, i tried to tape the page and used super sticky mat but no luck... did you face this issue? thank you again for the helpful video.
Of course! thanks for watching! 🥰 Somethings I would recommend for this issue: - make sure you have lots of light on your machine when it is registering the marks! - make sure your page is perfectly straight on your cutting mat - make sure your cutting machine is on a very stable surface If you're still having issues I would recommend re-installing the silhouette studio! I hope this helps!! 💗
how do you get such good cuts when the design goes in the top space between the registration marks? i try to put items up there to maximize space and it never cuts well when i have anything in that space. it throws the entire sheet off.
Hmm I'm not 100% sure! I've never had issues with designs in the top space between the registration marks (so long as it is within the bleed boarder!). Is your machine getting enough light when it registers the marks?
great question!! I've also had issues with cutting mats being wayyy too sticky when you first use them! This might sound silly, but I'll often stick it to a cloth or towel to make the mat a little less sticky haha I hope this helps!! 💗
Hello ! I love your stickers they’re so beautiful. . . .I wonder if you might be able to help me. I too bought some gorgeous vinyl matte sticker paper and my silhouette will NOT register it at all ! I am devastated as the paper and print is superior to the other papers I have been using and when I saw yours, I wanted to try the matte vinyl. There isn’t anything online that seems helpful, if anything most people seem to have issue with registration of glossy paper. I am totally at a loss and really frustrated and disappointed. Any words of wisdom, has this ever happened to you ? I love your work. New subbie here x
Hi darling!! Don't worry, I've had my fair share of random silhouette problems too! Things I would check: 1. is your silhouette well-lit? I need to have a lamp over top of mine to get it to register properly! 2. is your silhouette on a shaky surface? I had registration problems for DAYS because i had my silhouette on a wobbly table 3. this is hard to explain without showing, but I rarely have registration problems when I load the paper into my machine so that the left wheel is directly beside the black registration square on my sheet! I feel like this is so confusing so I'm going to make a youtube short about it soon!
@@itsLunaloo you’re such a sweetheart for taking time to reply in this detail. THANK YOU ! I’m currently on a winning streak but every now and then it throws me off by now liking something and I have to go back to basics. Stressy little machine ! Thank you again. this is so late!! I'm so sorry! I occasionally will convert my files to CMYK (especially if I do my first print and the colours are not looking the way I want), and i always use 300dpi! 💗
Nice tutorial 👌 I am using the Cameo 4 Pro and im having the same problems with the registration marks. I think it's a software issue because others seem to be having the same issues and Silhouette can't fix it. you need a lot of patience and time
Oh no! that's super frustrating :( One thing you could try is uninstalling the silhouette studio and reinstalling an older version of it from silhouette's website!! I hope they patch the issue soon!
Check out the "Step 4: Cutting" portion of the video, I go over the cut settings I use :) Edit: OH WAIT! i lied! I go over my cut settings at the end of Step 2: Setting Up Silhouette Studio" 🙏
Stickers are so so cute, just be careful of trademarked, copywrite materials that you don't have a license for if you are selling them. I did some video game fan art polymer clay years ago in my Etsy shop and got some pretty hefty legal issues thrown at me. So be careful.
@@Hi-ze1os I just got a slew of certified mail from Square Enix about cease and desist letters from a Law Office to remove my items from my shop. It was terrifying. So I was just putting it out there to be careful. Since then I have not sold any fan art after those communications with the Law Offices that represented SE.
I took notes. I did learn a few new things about stickers that I wasn't aware of, and that's why the notes. Thank you
happy to help 😊

How do you make stickers using script or writing instead of pictures?

How do you export your images from your art software (RBG vs CMYK; 72 dpi vs 300dpi)?
