    Simply amazing! Thank you a video with so much detail! I’m new to Silhouette Studio, I bought a Cameo 4 Pro and it’s been sitting for about 6months because it’s very overwhelming but you made look easy and I will definitely try to make the stickers today! I’m a Cricut person but Silhouette definitely has way more options for creating than Cricut

    Great project, guiding the journey from imagination, to sticker reality. Just think, if Silhouette ever develops a "Scent" feature, users may create their own "Scratch-n-Sniff" stickers at home, for the ultimate nostalgic throwback. Ha! Nice images and beautiful pastels for this set, though, for now, they merely cover "Sticker Scent."

    • @kdotbecca
      @kdotbecca  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Keith - Yesssss to a "scent" feature. I would be so happy to be able to recreate the interactive scratch-n-sniffness of stickers from the 80's. There's a method that uses Kool-Aid, of all things, but I don't know how effective it is.

    This is the absolute best video I have seen to very clearly explain how to make the trace lines. I have literally been searching for days. When you introduced the trace file my mystery of how to incorporate words and an image in one sticker the method was totally clear. Trace file? I can do that in photoshop. I should choose a simpler first project, but this is challenging and SO MUCH FUN. Thank you so very much!

    really nice video, I want have a question you might be able to help me with,
    1st. Do you put your A4 Paper on the matt at the A4 line or the 8,5x11 line?
    2nd. I needed to cut a few circle stickers however it always cuts off a bit for example there is a bit of the white sticker paper on my circle, but I don’t want to add a white outline to my logos. Do you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
    3rd: For sticker sheets I always draw my stickers in Procreate on an 8,5x11 inch size and just import them as they are to silhouette, is that okay, would you recommend another Procreate size ir technique?

I only have the Auto-blade tool that came with the machine along with the extension tools. I am very new to this so am I really frustrated. If you have any tips I would really appreciate any help. Chloe Percival - I use a Brother color laser printer for most things (here's the model : www.kbecca.com/amz-brotherHLL8360CDW-printer ), but I also have a Canon Pixma inkjet and think that both printers are great. The Pixma model that I have is discontinued, but if you're in the market for an inkjet printer, I highly recommend Canon. Have used them for years and really like them!

      Technico Kidurong & Dawn - I'm not sure about the Curio since I haven't used mine too much, but this has happened to me a few times on a Cameo, so now I always keep a really dull ratchet blade on hand and use that in my machine on a depth of 1 and a low pressure setting (usually 10 or below) when the machine cuts through the sticker paper on 1 with a sharper blade. This almost always does the trick for me!

    • @kdotbecca
      @kdotbecca  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      loungeblogger - This has happened to me a few times, too, and there are a couple of things you can try. First, try lowering the blade force in the Silhouette Studio settings and do a test cut to see if that works. If it doesn't, what's worked for me is using an old/dull ratchet blade set to a blade depth of 1 (sometimes 2, if it's a really dull blade). Sometimes it seems that, no matter the settings, the autoblade is either too sharp or still cuts too deep for sticker sheets. The ratchet blade has always worked for me in these situations.

    Very strange, but it seems you disabled auto captioning on your video. I just ordered a cameo and would like to watch this, but I can't... Very disappointing 😔 Accessibility is important.

      Reanna LaCasse - I completely agree that accessibility is important and always have auto closed captioning turned on for my videos. I'm not sure why it isn't showing on this video and just sent an email to TH-cam asking why this might be happening, so hopefully I'll hear back from them with a resolution.
