Nice but £500 more than my inception staion.For the sake of 36mm legs instead of my 30mm.Ill keep the £500 differnce and buy 3 acolyte rods with it.
Very nice, but I'll stick to my Shakespeare blue tub and ancient Octoplus legs 🙂
Dont forget the 2 draws i had a Riva wasnt rich enough for the shakespeare with a home made cushion but to be honest you probably wont find a better box to sit on as it has a large seating area. Just a question in the 80,s when they came out do you remembet a bright orange fibre glass rod it was the bees knees and dear then not sure if it was an alpha or an abu rod would love to get one now for nostalgia

Yeah, mine has got a swivel chair with a back and also then arms and wheels, so you can turn it into a kind of ‘barrow. Really useful and comfortable with the back rest.

How much lighter is your Carbon box? The new absolute box is very heavy i sold mine because it was just to dam heavy.
Brilo & boss canal . Best ever was & still. Why are these new boxes sooooo heavy. Buy the box. Buy a trolley. Buy a van. Just to carry it.

When you have an octbox you don’t need an extra platform. Why does the box have to look the part? Does that catch more fish then? Get over yourself ffs man 🤣
Ive used mine in every type of peg an in the water im 6ft 2 .18 stone its solid as a rock ...amazing box
I have the white one and its awesome, little trick i transport the stacker box separate and believe me it makes the box a whole lot lighter to transport to your car/ van defo worth the investment.
For their size and weight, the Rive-style frame boxes such as this have very little storage space. They are just very expensive glorified seats. Yes, they are very sturdy and adapt to virtually any bank, but a good platform plus a regular box does the same job and you don't have to take out the platform unless you need it.
I agree with you brilo are the best boxes my uncle sold me one and i was well happy with it
I really love my Preston box, but unfortunately the welding came apart n the handles/wheels bit. It’s really good apart from that. (I wonder if there’s a metal glue I can use, rather than taking it to a welder)
I have a MATRIX P25 MK2 SEATBOX and the thing i dont like about it is those catches that seperate the sections as they are so fiddly to match up at times and after some wear they become loose and pop off. I had to get a new catch as one half of the catch popped of into the pool and it was so hard to get the catch always out of stock so i had to buy a spacer section just for the catch but i see the new preston box has similar catches so for that reason i wont get one as i presume i will get the same issue.
I like these boxes but i have heard paint comes off them really easily, is tbis true anyone know ?
Tbh my brother has inception box and its not much different to this one,apart from extra £350/£400 on top,these new boxes are all well and good but seem to be gwwtting heavier and bigger ! If had one of these and my bro took his Inception,there's no chance of getting both in my car,which isn't small car by any means.with all gear aswell got no chance,need to buy a van to carry the things
Not every one got 800 pounds plus for seat box's these days.
It's a great looking box but it should be for the price. By the way it actually weighs 18.2 kgs

Plenty of life left in my old Boss Modulator. These new boxes are far too heavy and expensive.
At last a sliding winder tray but there is still a but! Why are you still sticking with the extra boxes low down when they should be held up under the main compartment out of strong waves! Shouldnt it be build from the top down cos as it is you have no choice. Just saying then it will be absolute.! If of course you can slide them out from the front with parted legs.
Highly overpriced. That box does nothing any other box on the market doesn't do! The flimsy tray that clips back in when the stacker is removed is far far from "innovation" as you put it!
Angling times are all about paid advertisements these days, can't trust anything they say any more. All greed.
@@tomhill9934 I agree, I see their recommended gear articles all the time and I really don't think they know what they're talking about at all. They'll tell you anything to rinse you of your hard earned money! Look at the magazine It's more adverts than anything else.

Everything preston products iv got this year from rods to the barrow is fucked. The mega side tray all the stitches have come apart. The 4 wheel barrow not even 6 months old the back weelbearing are fucked. 2 feeder rods fucked. The list is endless. I loved preston products but the cost off them is shocking specially now I have to replace most off it not even 9 months old. I want take a rist forking out a fortune on there products again.
Ya ok it's a flagship model but do ya pay for it out ya own pocket ?? Well tell ya truth you don't pay ya own money for em 💯
