    The round screw together containers would fit nicely in a piece of PVC pipe to keep the sun from baking them and to keep them from breaking. It would also be easy to mount PVC to something so that it doesn't roll around everywhere while still giving access to the gear stored inside

    I've always found great boxes and cases outside the fishing department since I was a little kid. As a little kid many moons ago I wasn't making money and didn't come from a rich family so I had to be creative. I love your channel and your content!!!!!!!

    • @Gstar5150
      @Gstar5150 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try stuffing the top of your tackle box with extra packs of plastics it'll get rid of that little gap in the top and keep everything in it's designated spot, the only reason that happens is because most tackle boxes at least have a little 1/4 inch gap or so in the top of them.

      @PronounClown That's very useful and I appreciate it. I personally like the knock off Bobby garland tails they sell at Walmart. Thyre the same thing but they're only .88 cents. • @Gstar5150
      @Gstar5150 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@michaelblencowe4241 hold up, where tf you getting Bobby Garlands for 88 cents, I especially love their Black Licorice, Blue Chrome, and Twilight colors I just seem to have the most luck on those. My boxes are filled with Garlands, I just like to fill in the gaps in the top of my box with either Panfish Assassin's or Cremes just because they seem to fit better in the slots without crimping up my plastics due to the pressure of it being closed and also just being smaller packs in general I just put em in my problem areas where shit gets mixed up. I can't even get 5 packs for 88 cents on Bobby's, there like 1.20-1.30 at my local Walmart, so there's no way you're getting 18 packs for 88 cents!?!?

    The problems I've run into in years past when using some of these off brand containers is they're not as sturdy as the ones made specifically for fishing. The plastics don't hold up well when they come in contact with soft plastic grubs and such. They usually melt. They should be fine for terminal tackle and hardbaits, though.

      I bought it and the round tube container at Hobby Lobby . They are both made for jewelry makers . The old one your talking about is 3 years old now and held up fine

    Hello, I was looking into putting together a starter fishing set up for my 12 year old grandson. I thought of you and maybe you could do a episode of putting together a set of your hacks from the tackle box to the rod for a beginner to make their choruses easy and productive in their learning the fishing sport . Just a though. Dan
