Have now bought this box Carl and as you say, they are the dogs danglies, I got the F25 Mk2, they come in 2 variations, F25 means 'feeder' and it has a deep 90mm tray and a deep cross drawer, the P25 'pole' has shallow drawer and tray. For attachments you can use the Preston Offbox add ons but be aware you have to buy the converters to 25mm for the matrix but theyre only about a fiver for a pack of 2, I went the Prestons addons for feeder arm and tray and with the 25mm converters they work fine. I've still not figured out what the 2 little hook/catches are for on the very back of the footplate though.

Hi mate I'm debating weather go for this box as I've got loads of attachments from my old box which also have 25mm legs. My only question is just wondering if you think is quite a lightweight box as I'm recovering from open heart surgery and I'm looking for a light weight box but still with the footplate option. Regards martin

@@martinhassall7884 They aren't bad boxes and are probably up there with the best for lightweight but even with mine and being only 10 mins walk from the Bridgewater canal I'll still be getting a trolley.

Another great video Carl I’ve got an inception box but thinking of getting one of them u can take the bottom bit off and just have side trays on it 👍

Great video and review Carl, like you said that seatbox is ideal for anyone just getting into fishing and wants a seatbox that has a footplate and leg system .You'll find that all the companies do pretty much the same accessories for the same kind of price no matter what seatbox you buy. I started my fishing life with a Shakespeare box what I put a set of legs on and used it for 30 years but I have now upgraded to a Preston innovation inception station seatbox with all the necessary attachments as I finally had enough money to buy it

The only negative about this box is the legs are too close which can make it a pain to open if you have a few things attached.
I bought this box because I needed something that would fit in the car but now I have a van I might upgrade to something a little bigger but so far this box does everything I need and I certainly wouldn't describe it as a "starter" box.

What I mean as a starter box is that because it does not come with many draws like mine and it’s cheap it’s good for people just getting into fishing who want a good reliable box instead of paying £300 plus for one.

Hi Carl I know this is an older video and I'm still looking for a lighter style box with still a footplate option as I'm recovering at the moment from open heart surgery I had a month ago so I want something that's not to heavy. I've got a light weight box at the moment with 25mm legs and I've already got some preston offbox36 attachments that should fit this box but I'm not actually sure of the weight of this box? Oh I do enjoy your videos mate so keep up the good work

I think every seat box manufacturers charge the same prices for accessories Preston MAP Maver are all similar Rive are more expensive. The main downer on the Matrix H frame with 25,mm legs is the fact the legs are too close to the units and many accessories don't fit . You say the price of accessories are extortionate so check other brands which fit and you will find pence difference in all marques. You will also see the Matrix accessories are indeed better quality than most.

Hi all... I have this this seatbox, and like other people have commented on the legs being close to the frame which is a pain. I have the preston mega side tray, and to get inside the box I have to take the seat off to get to my rigs, which in a match is again a pain, plus the catches become slack after a while and then fall off, and the seat isn't very comfortable . Imo I would get something by preston or rive if you can afford it.
