    There are plenty of people who don't lift weights and stick to cardio exercises to lose weight, and it worked. Lifting weights is cool if you want to build muscle but not a necessity if you want to lose fat.

    This is actually true, i was so fat in class 7 but then i quit junk food(was a kid so once in a month), quit soft drinks, started sleeping more,started drinking water , not lifting but exercised for 25 minuted , i'm fit then ever after the years
    Edit- i was lifting too and that increased my height from 5’4 to 5’10.5… currently 16 with abs and 14.7 inch biceps (i play football so don’t lift currently for agility)

      Because when you starve yourselve, your body goes on survival mode and gains more weight bc it starts eating up all the good things In your body

    Some people have what is called stubborn fat, it’s fat that is basically really hard to loose through dieting and exercise. If your not loosing weight and your trying REALLY HARD to you might just have stubborn fat!

      @@Madhavkhushiofficial you can lose it through just stuff that you would normally do for dieting and exercise it just takes longer! Plus I’m more pointing out that stubborn fat is a thing ,I’m just trying to make people aware of this because someone may unintentionally hurt themselves from being too restrictive with dieting and exercise.

      Lift weight and do cardio in the same day. I normally do only cardio and diet to loose weight then switch to weight lifting and cardio to try and loose some more weight. But look at the body transformation and not numbers on balance if you lift weight. Consistency is also important. Best of luck. I am myself only starting my journey after having my daughter. I gained lots of weight post pregnancy. Long way to go.

      maybe bcuz ur overworking and undersleeping. happened w me. I used to be in a dance society of my college(I have left it now) and they used to make us dance a lot and do workouts. and the schedule was so jam packed. plus they used to give us instructions for the next day's schedule so late(like 1-2am) so I ended up w so little sleep. it didn't make me lose weight that much. when I left the society I had a time off and slept literally all day (8 hrs sleep at night and 3 hr sleep at afternoon 😅) and i toned down a bit!

      The reasons mentioned above and also because 80% of weight loss is literally what u eat and how much u eat of that. U probably have an avrg diet, u need to go on a calorie deficit based on how much u already intake.

    I’ve lost tons of weight many times in my life, and I definitely haven’t been lifting weights or drinking lots of water, what I did do was eat a hell of a lot less in general, and absolutely no junk.
