When you get around to swapping the buttons, and stick out. Would you please make a video talking about it? The interior space for the stick is the biggest issue, and I am not sure what would be compatible with this product.

For anyone interested. I wrote to 8bitdo about it working with the nes receiver and they said it works with that for nes and snes mini. Just have it in switch mode and sync with Bluetooth

Are you talking about the little Bluetooth dongle that 8bitdo sell specifically for use in an original NES? If so that sells it for me as I have both that and one for my Genesis.

    • @MBJ84
      @MBJ84 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@adamgriffiths1703 No, but I’d say the one for original hardware will work too. The one I’m referring to is the one they sell for the NES/SNES mini.

3:22 The input current and the battery capacity are two different things. The bottom label information is about the max input current drawn when charging and/or when the stick is running in wired mode, it's measured in mA (miliAmps). The battery capacity is about how many juice it can draw in a period of time, in this case 1 hour, that's measured in mAh (miliAmps per Hour).

Tip, when wanting to use the stick on other consoles, use the 8bitdo retro receivers or controller convertors.

I have tested many of 8bitdo controllers with their retro relievers and they have always worked with each other, 8bitdo compatibility is the best. Also you can connect any bluetooth controllers with 8bitdo receivers. I dont have this stick to test but i have the first gen 8bitdo arcade stick and it is fully compatible with all their recievers.
    Hope that helps. Thanks

His review was the best I’ve seen so far but even he forgot about the adapters. 8bitdo is replying to people on Amazon saying it works, but I don’t want to buy it then see it doesn’t connect. I’m sure there’s other people asking the same in the comments, so he might put out a tweet or an update or something

Why do you trying to play directly with pc engine/genesis instead you can just plug the stick into PC and there you can use MAME or any emulator for nintendo, genesis, pc engine... whatever and it works like a charm :)

I would like to understand how to set it up in Recalbox (Raspberry Pi)
On the Arcade Stick, how should I position the 2 "main" buttons (top left)?
    1) switch mode: switch / off/ X-input? (obviously to switch off the stick, you must position this button on "off")
    2) control stick switch: left-stick - d-pad - right-stick (I have absolutely no idea what this is all about)
And in Recalbox, how do you configure this stick? (I know the "joysticks" and "configure a joystick" menu, but then?)

quite easily without registering a directional input. if i push the
stick i get easy and perfect movement, but I wasn't expecting the actual
control stick ball to have this free travel. What do you think is it a

NEW 8Bitdo Arcade Stick or Mayflash F500?
Which one is better for modding?

I like this has 2.4ghz wireless as it really brings out the options, but as far as modding... I have modded my F500 Elite and that's my favorite lower cost arcade stick rite now. Modding both are gonna be about the same work.
