    CORRECTION: We used the Nothing Phone (2a) instead of the usual phone we keep on set and didn't realize that the mic test was using the phone's microphone instead of the earbud's microphone. We've uploaded a better mic test here and removed the original one from the video: th-cam.com/users/shortsTxBlqX1nsV4
    Sorry for the confusion! We'll make sure this doesn't happen in future videos. - Bell

    Google assistant not making a ding sound when you activate it via buds is actually a months long bug/issue from google themselves. @@_NoNameTim Yeah they sound pretty good at base settings or maybe "classical" setting.
      You also have to turn off "ultra bass" which is turned on be default.
      Aside from they are great, good passive isolation even without ANC, decent ANC and really good transparency mode, nice fit since they are more on the smaller and slim side and in ear detection works flawlessly.
      Being able to control things with the case is also pretty nice.

      Once you turn off ultra bass and set everything to 0 the tuning seems to be pretty neutral and the bass won't be an issue anymore so you can kinda just go from there.
      I'm surprised they shipped it like that, even listening to people talk on default setting triggers the bass.

    Companies stopped including the brick just as C-to-C was becoming popular, so most people are probably still rocking their old A charging bricks. If I were releasing a product right now, I'd probably consider including both A-to-C and C-to-C or a C-to-C with an A-C adapter on one end.

    • @heroninja1125
      @heroninja1125 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Ironically, google even included a USB-A to USB-C adapter. Not the other way around however, even though a USB-C to USB-A adapter would be WAY more useful. And would allow you to use an old usb-A brick with your new USB-C to USB-C cable.
      The only reasonable usage for such an adapter, would be to plug in computer mice and keyboards into your phone, which nobody does.

    • @酗
      @酗 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      They include it so you can plug in a cable to your old phone, giving you a usb-c to whatever your last phone used.
      It's part of the setup process, where you can transfer data over a cable instead of doing annoying cloud syncs.

Fiddly, sluggish touch controls on a device you literally cannot see is inappropriate at best, and an active detriment at worst. Well. I know they are nothing special, but I think since wireless earbuds are by design going to be a rather limited audio experience, I would still go for the Anker SoundCore P3 or similar. They can often be had for around 40€ and give me like 90% of the audio experience that the Sony WF-1000xm5 geave me. If you pay the regular 80 bucks, wait for another sale!
    To me as an audiophile, it really does not make any sense to go fancy on wireless earbuds. They will never be able to compete with some solid over-ear headphones. Midrange is good enough in this product category.

    I got theese recently, honestly i got them only because i got the cmf phone and i got a discount for buying both and my old ear phones 1 are giving up after very heavy daily use.
    I like them, they are the right kind of cheap, i don't know how to explain it, when you handle them they don't feel premium, they feel like i can be careless with them and they gonna survive. sound quality it's exactly what you expect, ok base is way too intrusive, it's the first time ever i turn down base, I had no connection issue. The gestures are working really great for me but i kind of miss being able to raise and lower the volume confortably from the buds, tapping just does't feel natural to me to raise the volume, the good part about it is you get to use the knob on the case, i thought it was going to be gimmiky but it's so fucking satisfying they include a gesture so you can disable the knob so you can fidget with it. The case feels good in the hands compared to the pods and it's a good idea i think you are goint to handle that a lot

    They are pretty good, my only gripe is that they dont stay in my ear very well.. if I just sit still or lightly shake my head they stay in but any time I talk, chew or move a bit they wiggle out. I went from Galaxy Buds FE (those died on me 2 months in and cost almost as much as the CMF buds to have repaired) and those never fell out.
    Overall I really enjoy the CMF Buds Pro 2 and for they are 100% unbeatable for the price
