I switched from the pixel 7 to the nothing phone 2 and it has been fantastic. And has gotten only better with software updates! Recommended it to anyone that's looking for a solid phone that gives you flagship performance for $600. Everything has been great. Battery life is amazing, software is great, the performance is great. And the cameras are more than good enough. I would give it a 8/10 I can't wait to see what Nothing does with the Nothing 3

The Pixel 8a's screen supports 120 HZ as well (not 90 HZ). Pixel 8 series offers 7 years of support (not 6). The 2A Plus is sweet, but if I was in the market for a phone in that price range, I would get the regular 2a instead.
Just ordered my Nothing 2A+ yesterday. Waiting for it to get shipped. 2A & 2A+ were getting sold at the same price during festive sale - so went with the plus one.
I love budget phones like this. What more could you ask for at $350-400? Personally, I never use wireless charging, so it's not a dealbreaker for me. The only thing I noticed is that the Nothing Phone 2 does seem to be beating them handily in benchmarks even with an older processor. What that translates into real world, or if its with the extra $100-150 is another question I guess. Almost makes me wish I needed an upgrade to get my hands on one lol
Nothing & Moto are already my top 2 picks just because they are rocking a UI which comes closest to the Stock UI & doesn't Compromise on value too. Curved displays are not my type because they are gonna need regular maintenance & maybe easier to damage. Nothing is doing a great job. Especially when other companies are maintaining a distance from the sub $200 segment, nothing is trying to capture that. Design may be gimmicky but software is undoubtedly the best part. As I'm using a Custom Rom, I know how good stock ui can be. 3 years of updates are sufficient because Android hardware is not that great & might not last 5 years anyways.

8:31 The Pixel 8a tops off at 120Hz.
That’s too many phones being pushed out in a limited time frame
Ram type and storage type?
8gb 128gb
12gb 256gb
8 + 128, 8 + 256, 12 + 256 (depending on markets). UFS 2.2
How does it stand out against OnePlus Nord 4??
Nord 4 is a little pricier (£399 vs £479) - so Nord is slightly higher spec phone
@@Thetechchap right but both are considered as a budget phones. I am just after a decent phone which won’t tear my wallet. And one which would last a comfortable 18 months. If you would have to choose between nothing or oneplus, which one would you go for?

Just buy nothing phone 2
Nfc support..?
Wireless charge..??
No wireless charging
NFC - yes (it would be a deal breaker if it didn't have this), Wireless Charge - no.
@@kL07_ nord 4 best or this one
Those are all specs you could look up yourself
So the This is Nothing 2a S
Honestly, wireless charging is such a gimmick and an overrated feature. Wireless charging is the most inefficient way to charge, produces too much heat, and it's too slow.
And wireless charging in a car in this heat wave? Yeah no thanks, unless you want to toast your phone.
UFS 2.2, again?
Yeahhh
@@Thetechchap Thanks 👍🏻
Nice phone though I can't stop looking at the side.
Bro is the twin of Michael Fassbender
1:20 So im not the only one 🤣
Still inlove with my Phone (1)
2a plus would've better with wireless charging.
agreed!
ufs 2.2 or 3.1 ?
Still 2.2
2.2 this is pathetic that’s enough to stop me buying it.
