I think OTIS has the nicest cab designs and buttons, very sleek looking.
+Shawn Campbell they are nice
@@DieselDucy i think this is is not a machin for elevator
Ducey once I got to see a hydraulic elevator once and it sounded just like that, I think it was a schindler elevator that the motor was working with
When the down button of a hydraulic elevator is pressed, a solenoid valve with in the power unit opens, the weight of the elevator cab and it's passengers forces the hydraulic oil inside the cylinder back into the oil tank, as the cab descends. Hench the rushing water sound.
Really nice motor.
Beautiful motor!
@georgef551 Nothing of this elevator is made in China. Some parts are from Canada, some from U.S., and some from Mexico.
It's even a bit different. The pump itself is made in Germany (it says "Allweiler Germany" on the plate) and only the motor itself (and likely the pump unit as a whole) is made in Mexico.
Such an awesome motor!
It sure is!
Hydraulic lifts are so cool!!!
They do, however, test the elevators here in Bristol Connecticut.
I love that motor I Only wish it was not made in Mexico
sounds exactly like Iowa 80 Truck stop
I mean what's the point with submersible machines? All it does is make the oil splash more
Such a hydraukic elevator machine looks really interesting
you should do the elevators at scott and white hospital in temple texas.
0:41 That A Good Motor.
Not a bad sounding elevator. Kind of creaks a bit as you get closer to 3.
@an65001
It's well-known, that when the Series-5 line came out, the cab components were made in China.
NOW, Otis is, or has, brought those jobs back to the States.
@themrelevator2 That is exactly what I was thinking!
thanks
Reading the motor data tag, 200 VAC sounds like an odd voltage I would expect 230-240 VAC or higher for a hydro power unit. 25 HP motor each phase is pulling close to 30 amps.
Does Otis make their elevators in the USA now?
Yes
you said we lets go to 1
0:42 RIP HEADPHONE USERS
is that epic motor in the machine room
+Kristen Cansler it is a nice motor
That pump unit is LOUD!
I mean I got to see a hydraulic elevator machine once...!
I’ve seen one twice and one traction elevator machine room
I’ve seen 27 machine rooms and I don’t know how many hydros or traction machines exactly that I’ve seen
That's a hyrdaulic motor.
is that a hydraulic elevator
+Kristen Cansler yes
Elevators Machines Rooms Are Cool But They Can Be Dangerous So Always Use Caution And Don’t Touch Anything That Could Hurt You Be Careful.
Yep. I know this.
"motor starting" WHOSSSSSSSHHHHHH RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
and.... thermostate
Lol there a optic company not to far from my house looking to worck there some time :D
same elevator at my local hospital
Why Is That Sad If It Was Made In Mexico.
Cheap
I have Ben in a hydrolic elevator pump room there very loud and my TH-cam pic is of the hydrolic pump circuits
Nothing says "American", like a pump unit made in Mexico, and the lift components (cab included) made in China.
U.S.A.!
Otis
Lol
