Happy Birthday Dieselducy
Hapy birthday Andrew. I am DanielKingElevator
very nice video of the machine room still has the original relay controller and floor selector, I have not seen too many unders-sluged 2:1 traction elevators. If I recall there are four sheaves 2 underside of the cab, top of the shaft for the driven sheave, 2nd opposite side for the counterweight, for a basement traction machine. Is the machine a 3 phase 480V AC induction motor with a reversing relay on the control board?
It's all Payne, except the TK motor, of course.
(I know my Paynes.)
What are the pros and cons to bottom drive elevators?
Anyone know of a website that deals with old S. Heller elevator conversions to a modern drive motor, and a plc controls?
The drive motor for our elevator at the local FOE club burned up this past week. Penthouse control room, four floor building.
Thanks
I didn't even see an overspeed governor
What's up
TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY
Happy b day bro
What would happen if power was lost during operation. I assume there's some sort of break.
Was that the counterweight coming down at 0:50?
That was the side of the car. It wouldn’t usually be open to view like that but it clearly shows the underslung roping arrangement.
It says ThyssenKrupp on it grrrrr.
When i look the video it says ThyssenKrupp but Monarch grrr.
Notification squad
Now that is a REAL elevator. Good ol' gears, chains, and relays. 62 years old and still going strong, even if it does have a replaced motor.
msj191961 yup :)
