I wouldn’t be surprised if ALLMIND had a hand in hiring Branch to leak the fact that Coral was still on Rubicon 3 in order to find someone who could help her in completing the Coral release.
I have been wondering. is it fully confirmed that Nightfall Raven died after the fight with 621? Their Operator says "We will watch this one closely" or something like that. So who was she refering to if Nightfall Raven and other Branch members are dead?
Good question and to answer no. However its the lines from king and Chartreuse in the dam fight that seems to suggest 621 does kill raven in this mission. As for the we part, it possible again due to the two routes that one could be the operator talking about King and Chartreuse due them being alive. While she could been using we to refer to the branch group itself as since the group members rotate its very possible when all current members die, ravens operator goes off in search of new or old members of branch and while she does, she and other branch member be they old or new will keep an eye on this new threat.
One thing that has caught my mind is that Nightfall's operator may not be the fourth member of branch serving more of a supervisor of the four members, this would leave a forth unknown member of branch still potentially alive and may even serve as a candidate to appear in the DLC(If Fromsoft does release one which i really hope they do!) as was seen with Miquella in Elden ring's DLC. To me i think the DLC will hold alot of potential similar to ACFA!
@@armoredcorelore there are quite a few factions in AC6 that are shrouded in mystery and I believe this was intentional by Fromsoft as they would have plenty to work with and do for a potential DLC (also forgot to say great video!)

Branch's move to leak the info about the Coral returning might as well have been a double-edged sword as it not only brought the attention of the PCA and the Corporations, but also Overseer and their goal to burn the Coral. Rather you choose to follow Overseer's Legacy or side with Ayre to save Rubicon, these two routes determine how Branch's lone survivor to judge if they truly made the right choice or not.
I'm actually interested in the operator. In both instances she's rather stunned that 621/Raven managed to defeat the members of Branch. was she a Pilot before? Did something happen to her to retire the Pilot Job? I ask this because of her Speech during both fights. "A Raven is a symbol of resolve, the will to choose what one fights for" this personally tells me that she herself was once a merc a Raven.
@@lazwardazure716 Well, I wouldn't say that she was an inheritor of the title as we do not know much info on the Operator for the original Raven, also, in order for the next inheritor to take up the title of Raven, something has to happen to the previous Raven in order for their title to pass on. But then again, if Kasumi Sumika in AC4/FA could give up her status as a Lynx Pilot and become an Operator to Strayed, your theory could hold logic behind it.
The truth is a deadly weapon. As you say this war started because of the truth leaking out, if nothing was ever said then all this may have never happened.
Its possible, but again raven operator suffers from being of ac people with a little history behind them (For now) However as Wrathnebula wrote she very well could have been an old title holder who passed it down to the current raven before 621 killed them or be a kasumi case of being an ex mercenary.
10:05 ahh yes this is the one I really like the most I really like this build so much that I made mei from overwatch and Eula from genshin impact. I had trouble with first but I figured it out most recently I figured out that, staggering an enemy up. You have to be up close to staggered the enemy so you can land at pile bunker Insta kill. Like, for example, I use this build to beat the final boss of the liberator of Rubicon. And it worked out and I used it a lot in the multiplayer and ranked because I figured out and learned because you have to be up close to stagger and enemy of close before landing the pile bunker hit. It takes a lot of skills to use that build, but I eventually learned it.
Now i think about about 621 kind of logo (but it be dumb to think that) it's a military hound with a camera and gun on a back with a black bird friend on it and the background is red-ish flame monster
I wonder if the raven here is one of the many "branches" of independent mercenaries spred out in this generation, maybe on earth or perhaps mars like AC2 they thrive in contrast to Rubicon-3 where there still independent merc but their number stamped out by the warring corp and factions.
Its possible as at this point branch is very limited on information. We only know about the current membership and how they rotate and the big battle they had. But who knows how many ravens there are in the Rubicon system who has left the group and passed the title on.
I totally think the operator for Branch will make a return if we see an AC6 expansion ( either dlc or separate game ). Feels too close to a classic Raven’s Nest setup for them not to capitalize on
You can kill both King and Chartruese before Raven (Nightfall) shows up giving you unique dialouge about both them dying before he shows up. You also get special dialouge for if you get killed by Raven after killing both King and Chartruese before his arrival. Anyways, the reason I'm calling Raven a he is because apparently in a trailer, they used Karl Urban as an actor for Raven.
I have a theory that Raven's operator could either be Fiona Jarnefeldt or perhaps a descendant. I don't know how far the timeline is between For Answer and AC6.
You and me both about the timeline. To be fair what we know at the moment comes from an interview about the game where i believe its the director of the game say there is no link to past game, its a new stand alone experience. But theories make ac lore more fun.
its pretty far. the fact that the space frontiers have colonized on other planets (like jupiter) and rubicon seems pretty far enough to make it impossible to even connect the dots or erase the tracks. though one might say that NIGHTFALL is in fact: Anatolias mercenary. since it was never mentioned he died, and that he maybe one of the few people along with fiona escaped the earths surface and left for the frontier. i can support that theory nonentheless. since augmentation expands the life of the pilot, and he maybe one that took it earlier on and thus lived as an armored core pilot carrying a long forgotten title.
@@armoredcorelore I think it's intentionally vague and probably serves the series to stay that way officially leaving room for interpretation - and I think it works well either way, as a totally standalone universe, or as a happening in a very remote corner of the one(s) we already know. The notion of Raven is definitely a thematic callback to the other games at least, and I think they've at least left room for interpreting a literal one as well. The Raven we encounter in-game may well have inherited their philosophy from the (last) Ravens of 3rd gen, existing as legends from a far-away / long-ago star system. 🤷♂
Most likely and i have no issue with that. Ac lore is fun and as you say interpretation is a good thing after all here we are all talking about the game.
We are never really told. In true its more a theory then anything since she seems to be the only pilot using them and with her having a lot of the corporation parts. She may have had access to the servers or computers of the corp as a mercenary working for them.
Great post! On top of the lore I do enjoy hearing your own take on different buids and weapons configurations. Btw, what story-based DLC would you like to see explored in the AC 6 universe?
Thank you Shok =) I think it is a nice way to finish a video like this. Even if i am a less then skilled ac pilot ha ha. As for DLC well i think i would have to say the Jupiter war or what happens after coral release.
I wonder if we could play as branch in a AC 6 squeal or prequel , like Ravens nest or others like it , either that Branch is just a reference to those previous organization s from older games. We just don't know especially with fromsoft.
I'm still confused few details 1. From the beginning, I thought the information about Coral got leaked out before the fall of Station 31. Which makes me thought that after the info got leaked out, the Branch made a contract with the corp to take out the Station in order to give them fully advance straight to the planet. But turns out to be opposite, Station 31 fall first, Coral info leaked after it. The timeline really does messy here to be honest, 2. The unknown battle at Contamination Site, which led to multiple casulties from different sides. From what 621 pov, picked up 3 early AC Wrecks at the city, G7 Hakra, Monkey Gordo and Thomas Kirk. Which later Raven on the ground but the way his wreck on the ground kinda different 2.5. It's possible that Raven did have a big fight against 3 different sides, since he's works independently, from Balam, 2 unknown Merc whether they were hired, to RLF. The way he got lay on the ground was rammed by a transport chopper, which is next to him. Which I think he got rammed and unavoidable due to having critical.
To be honest it is. But from what i understand from reading and replaying the game this is the series of events that happened. Branch damaged station 31 allowing raven to leak the return of coral leading to the pca hunting them down on Rubicon 3. After this leak the corporations got wind and moved in quickly as they could. It a guess on my part since loc station 31 battle is so undocumented that with king dealing with the warships either they suffered damaged from this attack or after the event had to resupply meaning they could do nothing when the corporation showed up and set up base. The battle at the contaminated city is rather a mess. And of course there are lots of things that could have happened again lack of documentation. So either this was ravens real last stand with the pilot taking out the three foes who came looking for a bounty. On the other hand we could have a really unluckily series of events where three forces went to check out this city only to start fighting each other then raven turned up with the pca on thier tail leading to this massive fire fight where after the chaos raven manages to get deeper into the city only his freedom is cut sort when a transport helicopter be it branches or even a pca is shot down among the fire fight leading it to ram nightfall as it falls. Honestly it really is a mess, but hey lot's of room for cool theories and stories.
I'm not suprised that you had a hard time hitting foes with Umber Ox. Long range just doesn't really do well in this game outside of large or stationary foes.
@@armoredcorelore Given that the patches have increased bullets velocity to several weapons multiple times, maybe one day long range will be a much more viable option, like AC4 and their long range weapons.

Slightly misleading at 5:30 by saying 621 killed 'all known members of Branch', 621 only killed three of the four members of Branch, it's revealed in a log (STV Sketch 6) that Branch is made up of a rotating membership of four mercenaries, three acting as AC pilots and one serving as their operator, Raven's 'Operator' is still alive so Branch hasn't lost all of its members. I know you later say Raven's Operator is still alive but you don't mention that the Operator themselves is a member of Branch and presumably could pilot an AC.
I promise I will watch this video, I don't think you want me to, because I think I know more about you on branch, but also don't know very much about branch. @@armoredcorelore It's ok, I didn't know that myself, after checking some meme videos about pilebunker. And I am not quite at it myself, since I am really hectic about button presses.
Thanks ha ha.
I wouldn’t be surprised if ALLMIND had a hand in hiring Branch to leak the fact that Coral was still on Rubicon 3 in order to find someone who could help her in completing the Coral release.
Again possible as at this point Branch's lore is pretty unknown and it might stay that way.
Yeah that is a possibility. It would be a cool way to have some dlc from a different view point, plus maybe so epic Branch action.
@@armoredcorelore there are quite a few factions in AC6 that are shrouded in mystery and I believe this was intentional by Fromsoft as they would have plenty to work with and do for a potential DLC (also forgot to say great video!)
@@barryhewisecracker2208 You are probably not far off the truth there, i mean i imagine most big devs always have the next project in mind. And thank you =)
Branch's move to leak the info about the Coral returning might as well have been a double-edged sword as it not only brought the attention of the PCA and the Corporations, but also Overseer and their goal to burn the Coral.
Ha ha i never really get to much with builds. But piloting nightfall was fun even if i am not a fan of the stagger.
Now i think about about 621 kind of logo (but it be dumb to think that) it's a military hound with a camera and gun on a back with a black bird friend on it and the background is red-ish flame monster
Honest you say dumb, but i think that be a cool emblem. A dog standing with a raven on its head maybe the pair have flames in their eyes.
@@armoredcorelore because some of the characters that you meet named you other than 621 you know what i mean
I do but still a neat emblem idea that shows almost the life of 621 or g13 or raven or mutt.
Feels too close to a classic Raven’s Nest setup for them not to capitalize on
Let's hope so. Operators tend to really lack in the lore department of ac unless your Fiona who ends up being one of the most lore heavy operators.
ravens operator is the fourth member
They are, but since they don't have a name or a callsign like King, Raven or Chartreuse. I think i can say unknown member without too much worry.
honestly, maybe your right. I believe it is safe to say that she could or couldnt be@@armoredcorelore
Either 621 is goated, or he got lucky.
Goated or protag powers.
@@Fronsky-mj5tk Yes you can and I just left it open for ravens gender.
@armoredcorelore Fair enough.
So they’re pretty much like the frighteners from armored core 2 or dedsec from watch dogs
In a way sure. I would say they are more like union from ac3.
Nice work on branch man
Thank you.
Did Chartruese hack Arquebus AAD to get the plans for the Hover Boat legs?
Balls in their court.
I'm still confused few details
1. The timeline really does messy here to be honest,
2. The unknown battle at Contamination Site, which led to multiple casulties from different sides. From what 621 pov, picked up 3 early AC Wrecks at the city, G7 Hakra, Monkey Gordo and Thomas Kirk. Which later Raven on the ground but the way his wreck on the ground kinda different
Awe snap, more lore
Hope you enjoy.
I'm not suprised that you had a hard time hitting foes with Umber Ox. Long range just doesn't really do well in this game outside of large or stationary foes.
Hmm it is a shame really as I'd like to have a quad legged sniper build.
@@armoredcorelore Given that the patches have increased bullets velocity to several weapons multiple times, maybe one day long range will be a much more viable option, like AC4 and their long range weapons.
@@Terminator45845 Possible. Honestly i feel the game is more suited to close to medium range combat.
branch remind me spy x family :
loid as king, good analystic
yor as chartreuse, strength and power
anya as operator, telepathic and can coordinating it
and last bond as raven nightfall, their newbies
Ha ha yeah i can see it.
I think this is fair take. I should have worded it better like all branch members who are present in the dam mission are killed.
Hey you should talk about stv someday
I will one day. The lore behind that one is fun.
@@armoredcorelore yeah he seems to be a mix of artist and journalist by looking into his notes
And maybe more.
I promise I will watch this video, I don't think you want me to, because I think I know more about you on branch, but also don't know very much about branch. Not sure you guys know this, but the backwards theme of this game relates to NosAAc/vvAAti snubbing me in his fake ass AC6 pre history video (I'm the original Vesperas, the guidewrite). Did she delete it yet? I DO NOT CARE, I saw him walk backwards. SULLA is your answer. Think he's not important? Sulla is the SECOND of 3 "V" 's. Compare him to me (Freud), and NosAAc. Go on. I'm obviously the 1st V, the 3rd V? He's my only subscriber... the game even gives you a free 3rd playthrough with new arena to give you the cliff notes.
Your welcome to watch the video or not, i don't think promises are really necessary. I can read you have quite the passion for ac6 lore and i hope should i have missed a bit of lore or information you will share it. Take care and have a great day.
I will, I had that "Snail" on my shoulder last night... Sorry, I am popular for being a Dick, after all lol, this message was suppose to be a joke, as I know Branch starts with Sulla, and I know the real life person Sulla is based off of :D
