Anderson Silva snapped his leg in half at 38 years old. The fact that he came back and continued to fight the top fighters in the world into his late 40s just shows how special he is.

My brother in Christ, I love Anderson but that was only possible with him taking various performance enhancing substances. Conor in all likelihood is taking the same route though with more stringent testing regulations I doubt he will fight more than once or twice in the UFC again

I mean USADA literally came out and vindicated him after they did their own third party testing but yeah even if he did take something I don't blame him. That is an extremely devastating injury especially at that age. He still came back and continued to fight against the top contenders in his late 40s and never tested positive again. That alone is impressive. Don't try to discredit how special Silva is.@@claya.bishop5356

Man, Joe speaking the truf. People love to hate on Conor but the cold hard reality is that he's delaying the comeback because he's hitting walls in his recovery and is trying to get it figured out so that he doesn't come back just to get killed (physically and reputationally). Look at Wideman's fight - that was '100%" post leg break and his leg couldn't take much. Recovering from that type of trauma takes a long time if you can do it at all

Hey Joe , just a little bit of information . After a break like that there is a procedure that’s called a BMP . It stands for ( and I hope I get the spelling correct ) Bone Morphogenic Protein . I had this for a disc fixing operation . The doctor explained it as “ It’s like spackle for bone healing ) . It’s,atleast when I had it done expensive . It doesn’t make the bone heal faster , but it does make it heal stronger . It was actually developed for long bone repair .

It would be cool but honestly tho man, he’s too small. The “cruiser weights” in wwe which was the division for the smaller guys, even those guys weigh over 200lbs. And they’re the “little guys” lol. I know Conor has bulked up significantly since he’s been off but still I don’t think he’d look big enough when in there with wwe guys. Just my opinion

Because when George did it they were confident his leg would recover better than ever. And yes he’s not having his leg attached but basketball is a lot of high impact running g and jumping. So I’m curious just how different is it? I thought snapped bones heal stronger usually?
