Ben going through the trouble of cutting the eggplant and Jamie immediately breaking it is classic Sorted.
Out of all the stuff Jamie's done over the years, this one made me facepalm the most.
It was infuriating, but to be expected 😅
The mistake of the end ripping off- completely managable, it's the fact that he decided to just tear the entire thing up after to 'cover' it that kills me 😭 Poor ben!
Not as bad as Barry invoking uncle rodger
there was no way it was ever gonna turn out like ben wanted but jamie breaking it immediately then deciding to tempura it was perfect
14:08 Mike's reaction to seeing that Barry finished the slappy is amazing. The juxtaposition of Mike's unbridled joy against Jamie and Ben's confusion is one of the best things you've ever done.

Usually it spells disaster... This time... it was a stroke of genius, proving that there indeed is only a fine line between madness and brilliance.
That lightbulb moment from Mike, you just knew it either going to be complete genius or disaster, and turned out genius.

From the moment Mike's eyes lit up with what can only be described as a lightning bolt of genius, I knew we were in for a glorious episode, for better or for worse. The fact that it was the better was the cherry on top, and it feels great to have the boys get a W in Pass it On for once.

Pass It On is the only format where you can start cooking something from one part of the world and end up with something from the complete opposite end of the world. Love it!

I'm so proud of Mike for finding the divine inspiration to salvage the mess left behind by Jamie and actually managing to pull it off, absolutely beautiful effort today lads
If I’m ever in a bad mood or feeling a little down, this is the episode I go to to cheer me up. It’s pure good vibes for 17 minutes. From Jamie breaking the dragon immediately to Mike’s genius moment to Barry recognizing the idea and bringing it home, it’s all awesome energy and laughter. Love how excited Ben got for it at the end as well. This is why I Iove the boys so much - episodes and moments like these where they just make me laugh, smile, and feel a little bit better about the world.
I've rewatched the reaction 4 times to see each one individually. But I must say that the camaraderie between Baz and Mike was the most beautiful part of it all.
My heart sank to the floor when Jamie broke Ebers' snoozing dragon eggplant.
It was a sad moment.
Mike was so pleased with both himself and Barry, that was great. Bonus: "it tasted like darkness" 😅
Solid pass, 10/10 just for the creativity that no one but Mike saw coming! And 10/10 for Barry for figuring out Mike's idea and following it without deviating!

I've tought the same in other Pass it ons, but not in this one. The confused faces of Ben and Jamie when they lifted the lid, and the happiness in Mike's when he realized that Barry had catch his idea..🤣🤣🤣. That is priceless!!!! And we would have missed that today.

This is my new favorite video! To go from Ben’s idea of 3 beautiful Asian dishes to the “Shanghai Slappy” and fried rice was beyond words. Mike and Barry saved the day! 😊
This Pass It On was genius on the back of Mike and Barry’s Shanghai Slappy 😂 felt like they managed to communicate what they wanted well and honestly it feels like the kind of fusion twist that could make a really nice actual takeaway. Great job guys!

Honestly, this made me sooooo happy. I can always count on Sorted to cheer me up on a rough day, and Mike's reaction to seeing that Baz picked up his idea and ran it to the finish was priceless. That was a scream of pure joy. 10/10
How about for the next Pass It On just the chefs. For example Ebbers, James, Poppy and Kush. Lets see if they will make something great or they will panic just like the normals.

Mike has come along leaps and bounds in the last year - the pie in a bap theme, along with the duck and pork filling was utterly inspired. I think this has to be one of my favourite episodes in a long while.

I think it was actually amazing that the dish ended up turning into a ‘Shanghai Slappy’ from the ingredients Ebbers started with and even more so that it was effectively communicated from Mike to Baz! It was a perfect example of Mike’s creativity and innovation taking the components he has and using his knowledge and experience to take control, and it ended up being a positively successful result!
*NEED MOAR KUUUUUUSH!* I'd love to see Pass It On with Kush in play. Having the second chef brings a great dynamic shift and he's the type of cheeky bastard that will mess with everyone else. 😆
