Kush walking away leaving an open flame and a scalding hot piece of metal on the countertop saying "my job here is done" killed me, glad he's taking his role as safety officer seriously 😂
Also him leaving the Blowtorch on, next to the f***ing fuel for the burner X'§
seeing him just flutter about with loose clothing RIGHT above the shredder gave me so much anxiety
@@Scubadog_ for real, that's like rule #1 with spinny tools - anything that is loose will get caught. Hair, beard, hoodie strings, floppy shirts - all of it. It will get caught. You're playing russian roulette and you WILL lose eventually, if you don't respect the spinny things.

The way he almost got his clothes stuck in a coconut drill and pissed coconut juice everywhere and got his hands too close to the drill... 😂 Bro is a safety hazard, not safety officer 😂
Ben only giving himself a 6 after singlehandedly creating two dishes from absolutely nothing and saving the entire episode is killing me 😂

I would definitely like them to react to their Pass It On videos. I'm sure they would pick on one another for most of it but it could also be useful for them to learn what they could've done differently when they messed something up. Maybe helpful but definitely entertaining 😊

The mere fact that Ben mirrored Mike's macaron/macaroons idea is the best thing.
How Ben managed to save this dish in just 10 minutes, increased my respect for him to a whole new level.

I also loved that moment. It shows the great friendship they have with each other. Even if they sometimes roast each other, it is clear that the love and respect each other a lot. And that is for me one of the reasons why I like Sorted Food so much !

My dad was a health and safety consultant and watching Kush lean over the moving coconut machine summed every H&S advisor I’ve ever met! Dad had some horror stories of some. 😂
He was probably shouting at them for wearing gloves on a rotating tool (and rightfully so).
We always ignore OSHA/HSE unless they are there!

@@r.b.rozier9692 my dad hated most other H&S folk as they never spent time on sites or got to know what was going on. He won many prizes for his work and even many peer voted ones from everyone on site. He’s been retired many years now and yet still gets phones calls from people on from all jobs in construction asking for his advice etc. He worked in so many amazing and world renown projects, I’d love for him to write a book about it all. His stories are amazing

It's amazing how Ben saved the dish and failed at the same time. I was so impressed with what he did, i didn't realize he forgot to use the blow torch until he mentioned it.

My mouth is dry from hanging open in awe and shock at Ben's entire 10 minutes - that was INSANE
Firstly Ebbers deserved a 10/10 because if it wasn't for him they would have had burnt popcorn and chewy steak. Secondly watching Ben pull all that chaos together into ten minutes was absolutely awesome! I know Ben gets bullied on the channel a lot but he is a whirlwind of amazement! 🎉

I love that Ben went full on chef mode. I don't think Ben failed - the other boys failed him. Also, Kush's face whenever the normals uttered a questionable was priceless!
Well, he also succeed because he didn't use or even leverage any of the gadgets in his work, while the rest did and you see how difficult it was. Fail is a well deserved result for all of them.

Kush Always adds the perfect amount of chaos. I mean the rest of the boys do their fair bit as well, but Kush manages to ever so slightly tip the scales into the realm of utter disaster.... And it is absolute MAGIC!!!! flipping bandage on his head!!!!
I have never been so absolutely SPEECHLESS at Ben's brilliance. I don't even care that a gadget wasn't used that was incredible
The moment I saw Jamie try and cook steak with a toaster I thought to myself "Ahhhh one of THOSE episodes I see... this is going to be wild!"... 😂... and I have to admit, when I saw Ben was going last I was relieved, because no matter what mischief the chaos gremlins got up to, Daddy Ebbers would fix it.... lol😂😄

He also per the rules of the challenge forced a fail by not using the blowtorch (which honestly was the easiest of the "dangerous" gadgets to use, and one that actually does get used normally).
That being said Barry didn't actually use his gadget either, Kush did. And the result didn't end up on the plate anyway so, the game was rigged from the start?
I love that in a challenge where Jamie KNOWS the dish will require Coconut, Popcorn, and something to be cooked with a blowtorch, he goes "you know what imma toast a steak!"
I saw those tuna steaks on the table and thought that I don't recall ever seeing them use that ingredient, and then I realised that Jamie was up first and would certainly take the beef steak instead.
WOW. Even if Ebbers didn't follow the rules of this particular pass it on, making two incredible dishes in 10 minutes was astounding to watch!
Ebbers deserved a ten today. Smashed it out the park yet again
Maybe a 9.9 for forgetting the blowtorch after that magnificent effort - it's a bit like saving a goal and then rolling the ball into the net afterwards 😆
And he had the easiest gadget.
10/10 for the cooking, 0/10 for the challenge. So 1/10?
However, I am not sure either one of the others deserve more than a 0, even if that mistreated steak was salvagable.
Kush just pre-emptively opening the First Aid Kit as soon as Jamie pulls out the peeler 🤣
Rewatching the episode and once again amazed at Ben's turn. He not only managed to bang out two edible dishes, but took the time to clear down everyone else's mess too. 🤣
They all need to react to this. Because this was a mess, and I'd honestly love to see Bens reaction to their performance after this many years.

Absolutely HEROIC effort from Ben my gosh. It was genuinely stunning that he was able to pull together literally *anything* from that mess, lol.
Ben saving the dish at the end but still failing because of a technicality is a metaphor to my life 😂
If Jamie had managed to convey his steak spring roll idea, Mike had made some sort of zingy coconut dipping sauce, Barry had puffed some rice instead of popcorn to add some texture to the rolls, and Ben had assembled everything with some torch charred veg, this could have been a great success
Okay that sounds amazing! I would want to try that!!!
It would be fun to see a follow up episode where these items are used to create a cohesive dish. :)
For Jamie's 'toaster steak' idea to have worked, I think his only real chance of success would have been shaving off super super thin steak-um style slices of steak so they cooked all the way through. Not just lay the toaster on a slab.

It's almost as if he could tell what a mess the others would make and wanted to be last so he could fix it.
This is probably my favorite pass it on in years. Such chaos, it was magnificent. Also are we sure Kush is a safety officer and not an agent of chaos? Him walking away from that massive flame had me cackling

I honestly love whenever Ben is last and the boys have done nothing. It’s so exciting to watch Ben do his magic and see what dish he comes up with on the spot!

Most responsible for the fail is clearly Kush! Worst H&S ever 😂. And gave hints to the others but didn’t tell Ebbers he hadn’t used his gadget. I reckon he was worried that Ben was coming for his pass-it-on 10 minute saviour status! 😉
Or maybe he was just watching in awe at the awesomeness that Ben was putting out and thus forgot. I honestly had forgotten as well, too busy gaping at what Ben was doing. 😄

Kush’s presence through this whole thing just made it all so much fun & chaotic 😂 also Kush really needs to brought into PIO as Ben is too overstretched with these challenges on his own (Barry hasn’t been much use so far).

It was hilarious I've never seen Ebbers panic before. He is a wizard, still got a meal out while having a faff attack. Mike doesn't seem to faff as much since becoming a Dad. Does this mean Mike's an adult now 😁😂 Jamie has been faffing more lately. I think he needed a meat selection snack to calm down. Bazza seems to be trying to live up to his Sous-chef apron. I loved every minute. Aaaaand to Janice lovely to have you back gorgeous gurl....

The most fascinating part of Pass It On to me is that the normals frequently decide that the best time to try to make something they've only ever seen in videos, or have only ever heard of and don't really know how to make, is in this format where they have no wiggle room for when it goes sideways. It also causes communication messes because it's often something the others haven't heard of, let alone know how to make.
10/10 keep doing it, it's amazing content lol
The surprise of a new Pass It On episode is always amazing. Watching the chaos unfold is just icing on the cake.
This PIO was a roller coaster from start to finish! 😆 The concept was great, kept everyone on their toes, plus gave us an excuse to have Kush on camera too! 😁 Ebbers was a whirlwind as usual, bringing everything together as is his norm. Truly a great episode and one I know I'll be rewatching. 🥰🤣

That was definitely a sorted food FUBAR of epic proportions, how Ben ever got two dishes out of that is crazy.
This may have worked better with longer times than normal. Mostly to reduce panic when using some fairly dangerous items. Also didn't think the gadgets picked would also shoe-horn ingredients, which probably tanked chances the hardest.
I was thinking that too, an extra 5 mins per turn for this format would have made it slightly more workable. And/or I would suggest if they picked their gadgets first, before they all trooped out, this could have aided the process a bit. Maybe. Hard to tell with this lot. I've never laughed so hard at any episode so it's a pass from me!
That would probably work best. I like the chaos of pass it on, but this definitely needs to be controlled chaos. The popcorn maker is a potential bomb, and the coconut grinder is one of the most terrifying things they ever used. Weird scenario where the sous vide gun is the least threatening item used in the entire video.

Ben was an absolute legend! I was in awe watching him work. I agree with Mike's hug 😄
Barry is most responsible. As a "sous chef" he proportionately did the worst of the three, and had he held up his end of things Ben would have had a bit less panic and more than likely remembered his torch.

I love how the "safety advisor" Kush uses the terrifying coconut shredding machine, and leaves the "stove" burning wide open in the kitchen after using the also terrifying popcorn machine unsucessfully. "My job is done" ;-). Its like he is an unsafety advisor ;-).
