Good call on Jamies part. "Your reward for digging a hole is a larger shovel" shall not apply to pasta making.
The audacity of Jamie not to start the pasta and then saying "this pasta is quite sticky, I don't think it's rested for long enough" 😂 should loose a teamwork badge for that 😉
And he rated himself a NINE?! Honestly I am going to say the dish is a fail. When the goal is pasta and the pasta was the worst part I have to say fail.

@@jjkurtz03 yep.. i'm kinda hoping badges are dead and gone at this point. It was a cool idea when it was it's own contained thing and everyone had equal opportunity to earn them. As soon as they snuck into the battles and PIO it just became a mess.

I love whenever Ben says "Barry will get this" I don't think he ever has.
It's a very rare pass it on when the normals pick up what the chefs are aiming for. And that just makes it all more amusing to watch lol.

Well to be fair, Barry was under a lot of time pressure as he was forced to roll out the pasta. Otherwise there would be no pasta to serve.

@@bryanokech8468 It may age like milk. I felt I noticed a synchronization in movement between her and Ben, in this weird way. I hope for the best for people, don't wanna make anything awkward. And also don't wanna put a spotlight on anything potentially budding. That won't be nice for parties involved. I think it's best we don't say anything, no? :)

There is just something bizarrely wholesome about a guest really taking advantage of a Chef's presence to learn some cooking skills. Lot of guests come in as experts, but sometimes it's nice for Ben to get to wear his teaching trousers.
So for this alone, Taz gets a big thumbs up as a guest!
The gall of giving yourself a 9.2 after not starting the pasta in a fresh pasta episode and then complaining that the pasta was too sticky and hadn't had time to rest 😂 wow.

I would have loved a bit more of a guest introduction. Who is Taz? Is she a pro chef? A food youtuber? A friend of the channel? Is she a big enough name that I should I already know who she is? I had to double check to make sure I didn't miss a Sorted video where she was introduced.
By the end of the video, I now know that she's got a cabinet full of pasta but still no clue about what kind of content she makes (though I'll probably track down the video they mentioned because I would love to see Ebbers rooting around somebody else's kitchen).
Pass It On's are always a joy to watch, especially when "I make a banger pasta" Jamie decides he doesn't want to make the pasta.
She's a vlog style TH-camr.
They included her channel name, so you can look her up. Her content varies quite a lot (probably why they didn't sum it up), she does some travel vlogging and just daily vlogs, like trying to organise her life with ADHD.
In recent years she's been trying to expand her diet and improve her cooking (from basically nothing), so I think that's how she ended up on the channel. She's basically an extreme version of the normals in the kitchen!
Agreed - I’m not interested in looking at random content that I’m probably not interested in, and find it annoying when they bring a storage person in and assume we know who they are and why they are there. I know it’s all about the TH-cam format, and presumably they get paid for it, but I’m not a fan.
I agree, some (short) introduction - at least of the culinary skills and experience of a guest - would be welcome :)
Lifestyle Vlogger primarily focussing on food challenges (i.e. eating through the alphabet, trying different cuisines, eating on a budget, etc.) Her channel is ClickForTaz.

It all went wrong when they assumed Jamie was going to do what should've been done first. The moment Taz put him first they all should've known Jamie wasn't going to make pasta because he's famous for knowing what needs to be done and just ignoring it to do something else. I'm honestly impressed that they still managed to make a good dish, that just goes to show how far Jamie and Barry have come along since the first pass it on.
I mean in the first pasta pass it on Jamie did make fresh pasta as the first person up 😂

Honestly if you guys started a series called "Whats in my kitchen?!" That would be amazing. You could do fellow foodies on youtube, fans, normals etc and we can see how different kitchens are and what their potential is

I made fresh pasta at a fancy restaurant for a year or so. I am supremely impressed with Barry's pasta machine skills. Like seriously amazing job!!!!!!!!!

I would love it if you did a weekday long home pass it on. A full weekly shop to start with that the boys take in turn to use up the ingredients to make a dish and can prepare/carry over certain things for the next person the following night.
I fully understand what Taz means when she says she doesn't like meat to taste like meat 😂 To me, some meats either taste very metallic or taste like a farm-yard smells
I’ve loved watching the guys get better at these over the years.. overall I’m quite proud of this group for the delicious looking pasta they made 🤩
I want to thank you all for bringing the experience of togetherness, fun, comfort to my anxiety driven life. The effortless friendship you all have is very soothing and makes me relaxed and for that I am very grateful. Please keep doing these videos and people like me are forever supporting you and loving you all. I would like to have more tips on cooking without using electric ovens and gadgets. If for some reason we have to go without electricity, how can we fill us up with simple ingredients. Either put things together without cooking or using propane single burner stove. Anything will help. Thank you for everything you all do. Love the humor and fun. 😊💜 love you all.

Funny enough, my mom gave me pasta maker for my birthday. Work has kept me away from home so much lately that I haven’t made any yet, but I am so excited to try to make noodles and ravioli myself

Great video, love seeing the take of what needs to be done on each handover. I would like to see a more complex, 5 course meal being served to important people, e.g. their parents, to see the stress levels explode 😂
This was fun! I will agree that I would have liked some kind of short intro as to who Taz was as I had no clue whatsoever. However, she was so cute and happy and excited to just be there that even without knowing who she was it was a joy to watch her interact with the guys. Also, I'm always behind my man Jamie but even I gotta smack him down a bit for not making the pasta after bragging about it (though I know it was probably because he wanted that Korean style Bolognese), especially after he did that banging spinach pasta in a pass it on a while back. There was a mixer there he could have managed to do most of both with but hindsight is 20/20 and Ebbers and Taz didn't even see it so there is that.
Taz's voice made me thought that she was a princess that finally had the chance to live the life she wanted.
