@CCAutoWorks I am just going to drop a oil catch can on my engine once I get that far and I will find out what year they changed the baffles in the valve covers. I'll get a used set if anything.
All right all right all right. U know what i like about high school girls ? 😂😂😂 Man i hate the intake and injectors were a fail. Need to get the word out for sure
@@CCAutoWorks man that sucks. Thats exactly where it should come alive. Everyone says that truck intake flows pretty good. Guess you just proved that in real world
Got no gas!! Any way man my AVS2 is running pig ass rich after I opened it up just to change the jets for hotter weather. Now thia bitch is bad rich. I adjust the valves with the soild lifters a week ago but it was fine for a week until i messed with the carb. I'm currently playing with the needle and seat. Oh yeah the editing was amazing on this video. CHINA!!!!!!
@CCAutoWorks I went from 101 in the main to 100. In the secondary I went from 100 to 98. So went back to stock on the secondary form a bit rich. On the primary from 101 stock to a bit lean. Man I don't think the jetting is the problem. It was way to far off on the rich sides. I'm gonna check everything like a complete rebuild. Just incase something went wrong when I had it apart it was fine before and now it won't even idle. Has to be something I missed in the carb because that's the only thing I messed with after it was running fine. I'll keep you updated. Thanks for being willing to help man!!! I appreciate you guys!!!!
I’ve started getting Spanish ads on y’all’s videos lol. Hate the intake didn’t work out for ya and that you’re having to do over. You’ll get it lined out
I take it that the LS wouldn't make a good Mad Max engine? Thats what I find funny about my 351M. It was stuck solid and broke it free with seafoam spray and a torque bar and now it runs good considering it sat since 2006. I could head to town with it and do fine. On the otherhand I'm having sensor issues with my 96 XJ Jeep that only has 74k miles. it sat for about 6 years before I got it and that took a real toll on the engine/fuel accessories. It's running as if it has 400k miles lol and my 351m idles and runs nice. I don't know, I may end up regretting going with the LS/tuning and not with a 351 Windsor. But you don't learn unless you mess around outside your comfort zone haha.
@@CCAutoWorks %100 true. I hope you get this figured out without having to spend a lot of $$$ in duplicate parts. Keep at it though you guys are smart and determined to get it right 😎👍

@@GrandPitoVic these Delphi seem to be good there 50lb at 58psi of fuel pressure and there flex fuel but there not flow matched I bought them from lsxcelration $225 to my door
@@CCAutoWorks That'll be the ones I get then. They ain't gotta be perfect. I'm not racing and boosting. I just want pretty good performance and reliability. I prob should be a little more picky since she should be between 5 and 550 at the crank.
Swap in a sbc 383 if you're after some torque. If you think you need even more than that step up to any of the GM big blocks. But if you want a combination of torque and fuel economy when you keep your foot out of it, the sbc 383 can be built to get you there. A cheap set of aluminum heads from the Bay of e with 195cc runners, a genuine imitation RPM Airgap and your choice of carb. To make it work get the Comp XFI hydraulic roller cam that has .550"in/.546"ex with 202°in/212°ex on a 113° LSA. Make the compression around 9.8:1 plus or minus .2:1. Exhaust manifolds with 2" duals will work fine, no real noticable gains with headers. With a roller block this is relatively inexpensive to build. Cast crank, 5.7" rods, hypereutectic pistons, standard volume oil pump, nothing special. I get 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway with my '65 Impala with that basic build backed by a 700R4 with a lockout switch. It runs 13.0s in the QM @ 101 mph. I would be in the very high 12s with the proper valve springs. LS engines are way over rated. IMHO. Plus you don't need a computer to make it run, no expensive injectors......etc....etc... This will probably be the new trend in the next few years.🤔😎👍
That's awesome I've been thinking really hard about building one I've got a four bolt mean block in my garage that was left from the guy I bought my house from
@@CCAutoWorks Just seen the block comment, heck yeah 383s run fun. Scat makes good stroker rods that saves you a lot of stroker clearancing time and effort. All kinds of ways you can build one, parts are still very available for sbc engines and are lesser expensive than most others.😎👍
This is bull, TH-cam isn't posting all your videos to me. I have it set to all. I may just be over subbed to channels that it don't know what to do. I hadn't seen the last 3 videos. I had one do that on the 4.6 in my Vic. I finally went to Ford and got a PI intake. There is a problem with the valve cover baffles that causes it to oil up the intake and burn oil. There are updated valve covers. I'm not sure of the year but they have them new.

@@CCAutoWorks that may be some of your spark knock too - the oil is diluting the air/fuel mixture. Read the plugs, that will let you know.
