Not only the acting, but the units and parts of the storyline. I've tried multiple times to play it, but just... nope. The C&C universe is so fascinating and intriguing to me. I don't really like space operas or war theater type stuff (like Dune games or Star Wars for instance), but the story in C&C, albeit very 'out there' at times, was pieced together so well. Merging real historical events with fictional characters and scenarios. There's so much untapped potential. And the franchise itself was a big deal back in the 90s and 2000s. Such a shame EA can't seem to do anything worthwhile with it. There are several content creators here on YT that, I think, could do a phenomenal job of piecing together new content for the franchise. Or even revisiting old content and filling in the blanks. So much potential. The majority of C&C fans would even be okay with pretending C&C4 never happened and going from there lol. Some extra points, spoilers may be abound but there were already plenty of spoilers in this video so I doubt anybody cares: 1. The Tacitus had actually been on Earth during the first Tiberium war, and it was the reason the Obelisk of Light and the Ezekiel's Wheel Stealth Tank were able to be developed, as well as all further Nod technology beyond that point such as cybernetics, wide-area stealth, and advanced AI technology. The Scrin ship that crash-landed in the second Tiberium War that had the Tacitus was actually Nod controlled, being flown by Cabal, and was the original ship that had the Tacitus in the first place, that Nod got back up and running (but not perfectly, hence an Ion Storm took it down and it crash-landed). It's believed to have existed at least during the Second Great War, which is how the Soviets were able to create Volkov and his trusty canine companion, Chitzkoi, two extremely advanced cybernetic commandos, as well as resulted in the creation of Chrono technology for the Allieds. 2. GDI had actually managed to get a hold of the Tacitus for a brief period of time after the second Tiberium War, after they had dealt with the rampant AI Cabal. It was then stolen back by Nod soon after, but GDI gained valuable knowledge that allowed them to build a lot of the tech they had in C&C3, most-notably the tech that allowed them to build and maintain Blue Zones, completely untouched by Tiberium. 3. Kane's belief that Tiberium was the next phase of human evolution was not unfounded. The Scrin used Tiberium as a fuel source for everything, and it also made them biologically immortal. However, the Scrin also had a reliance on Tiberium. Without it, they would die. Tiberium resulted in the Scin becoming a highly fine-tuned and advanced Biomechanoid race. This was the idea that Kane had that was the next phase of human evolution. 4. Before the destruction of the first Temple in the first Tiberium War, Kane dumped his mind into an AI system that then became Cabal. The Temple transmitted the data to a satellite, that acts as the central unit for Cabal and as a cloning facility for Kane. This is how he had managed to "resurrect" so many times. The satellite is still there, and nobody knows of its existence other than Cabal.
Really well done. I hope the portal in C&C4 leads to EA's headquarters where Kane's followers can strangle the developers and bring us a game worthy to conclude the series.
Nice video i happened to stumble upon, kinda glad i did. Been a while since i played the series (Tiberium Twilight still left a bad taste) but seems pretty accurate. As for Kane, I figured he might have been intended to be the biblical Cain due to his apparent immortality (The Mark of Cain supposedly made the marked impervious to harm to some degree, and those that harmed him would be harmed back in a disproportionately larger manner), similar name (not particularly damning but does not hurt) and perhaps most interestingly of all is that the original Temple of Nod had a sarchophgous that was heavily implied to contain Able's corpse (Cain's brother whom he killed over jealousy and was subsequently cursed to forever wander and to bear the titular mark)
sirloinofice If I remember correctly, in universe Kane claims to have named Tiberium after Tiberius, a Roman emperor from the 1st century AD. Regardless, Kane & NOD have disputed the origin of the name tiberium with GDI, with each faction claiming a different origin of the name that back’s their own message/ story and arguably to legitimize some sort of claim to the global tiberium supply.
If you think that reference to the river in Italy is cool, then you especially like this reference: Kane of the Brotherhood of Nod is literally Kaïn one of the sons of Adam and Eve out of the bible. In the bible Kaïn killed his brother Abel and had to leave Eden. He went to live in the land of Nod. The symbolism and storyline of the Brotherhood of Nod is more real then you can imagine. Read about it yourself in the bible, Genesis 4 4-16
C&C is still one of my fave franchises today. They killed it with the last game however. Joseph Kucan was astonishingly good as Kane, I would love nothing more than to see either a new game come out or a movie. Kane's wrath was probably the best game imo.

Tempest Rising has granted your wish.
Finally. Can't tell you how happy this thing showed up in my inbox =D
GDI next? Or maybe the forgotten.
June 2020: Welcome back commander!
Thanks so much for doing a nod video! For the technology of peace
Great readup on the brotherhood of Nod! Whoever narrates this actually sounds like the EVA from the game? which is really cool! :D
So many Brothers are still alive..
Yes yes yes !!!! Amazing video guys!!!!
For Kane!
Quite possibly my favorite human faction in command and conquer.
Some extra points, spoilers may be abound but there were already plenty of spoilers in this video so I doubt anybody cares:
This video just earned you a subscriber, love C&C, own all the games
I'm impressed by how close to EVA this sounded. Good job.
Kane is technically the original Lelouch Vi Britannia & is the Lelouch of video games.
Absolutely fantastic 7 minute video!
Kane is also the biblical Cain, the brotherhood of nod has existed for thousands of years.
Really well done. I hope the portal in C&C4 leads to EA's headquarters where Kane's followers can strangle the developers and bring us a game worthy to conclude the series.
Federation from starship troopers
Kane and his follower went to a realm, where Elmo reign supreme...
Honestly best faction to use.
I requested this! You guys are the best!
One vision, one purpose. Peace through power
I absolutely love these videos! Keep up the amazing work!
could you make a video about the imperium of man from 40k warhammer?
Oh! Do one on Alpha Legion!
Arch Warhammer does a lot of lore videos on TH-cam. I like his style, wit, and total irreverence.
or just some sort of 40K love, I would love and Eldar video or Tau.
There is no alpha legion heretic
already done, and dont look for Arch Warhammer, that guy is an arrogant. 40KTheories is Way superior
First video i watched was the UNSC video this is number two...fantastic videos
Praise Kane, Praise the immortal Messiah and his fight for Ascendance
Really enjoying this channel lol. Keep up the awesome videos!
The Technology of Peace!
Tiberium is named after a river in in Italy? Cool.
sirloinofice If I remember correctly, in universe Kane claims to have named Tiberium after Tiberius, a Roman emperor from the 1st century AD.
Martijn Bloem GEN 4.16 is the GDI file on Kane.

I like to put it this way
Caesar - He came, he saw, he conquered.
Tiberium - It came, it saw, it consumed all in eternal greed and war.
@@PHILMKD95 LOL! Now, now- not just war, _endless war_. Well, until the train wreck that was C&C 4.
C&C is still one of my fave franchises today. They killed it with the last game however. Joseph Kucan was astonishingly good as Kane, I would love nothing more than to see either a new game come out or a movie. Kane's wrath was probably the best game imo.
