@@majstealth I don't know where she had gone, she's probably working on something far bigger and more ambitious for all we know, but I'd love to hear that voice again
The reason the Scrin were so unprepared for Earth's resistance is because they weren't an invasion force, but merely a militarized mining expedition. You can even tell as much in the Scrin campaign in CnC3, where the Scrin command calls you 'Foreman' instead of 'General' or 'Commander' and such
I agree their unit look like they are designed for mining or security not combat for example the Disintegrators it weapons work more like a laser drill than a gun
Exactly, and also C&C 4 doesn't exist. New game continuing from C&C Kane's wrath involving scrin full invasion.( Scrin even said at end of Tiberium wars "start full scale invasion")
I just finished replaying Star Wars Republic Commando like two days ago now, I shit you not. Speaking of Star Wars, god damn having two of my favorite fictional series trashed really sucks, C&C being the other one. Anyway, carry on, vode.

So GDI is basically what the UN forces should’ve been in real-life. Like being decisive, having clear goals, operate with less political bickering, and being an actual military force.
GDI mostly deals with saving the world. Kane (and his cult) is just another obstacle. And so far, GDI succeeded at routing them as a threat over and over again. Ironically, the more Kane does, the stronger GDI becomes. And with Kane's departure from Earth (along with all, or at least most of dangerous tiberium), GDI remained as the sole super power on planet, and its single global government. That's a win.
@@shaftoe195 Don't kid yourself. Without NOD to blame for Corruption. GDI, like all Entities created by The West for The Purpose of War.. will just create a New Enemy to Justify it's Existence.
@@DavidMyrmidon GDI was originally created to combat global terrorism, mostly represented by NOD. But as global situation deteriorated, resources became more limited, and several wars and crysises took place one after another, GDI has outgrown its original mandate from the UN, becoming the de facto world government on an ecologically devastated planet. With no one to control it, and no outside enemies other than Scrin (which are out there, but didn't come ever since TW3) and NOD (which left along with Kane, leaving behind only a few remnants), GDI wouldn't need to "justify" its existence - the world is theirs. Since GDI has already attempted to shift resources and main focus of their efforts from military to humanitarian aid and rebuilding before NOD started TW3, I would expect them to do it again - finally addressing issues of many Yellow Zones, ultimately rebuilding Earth.
@@shaftoe195 Well the Tiberium control network helped... but if the TW3 did not happen it would actually not be necessary, GDI was managing to quell tiberium growth and we had the Tacitus. And well without GDI ion cannon grid greeting Scrin harvest fleet they would have easily stumped out NOD.
I don't even play CnC but I want a sequel series where the GALACTIC Defense Initiative has created a multi-species alliance/government against the Scrin.
An interstellar Command & Conquer would be interesting. Expanding to other worlds and battling the Scrin for resources and territory with the obligatory Kane surprise popping up somewhere.

I take it NOD's own re-education camps aren't instruments of tyranny, and Black Hand isn't secret police rounding up and killing dissidents in yellow areas? Typical NOD...
This is the same NOD that says tiberium is a gift but somehow blames the GDI for not helping the yellow zones, you know where tiberium presence is heavy, one would actually think NOD would be happy on being in the yellow and red zones considering how much tiberium there is.
Welcome back, Templin! We have missed you and there is much work to be done! It would be nice to have another CnC that uses the Star Wars Empire at War kind of gameplay. Nicolas Diaz both. However there isnt a lot of official lore content even though the lore itself is huge and it fits channel format well, and for sure will be appreciated by the community.
_"We can all be proud of this historical moment. We've survived the worst. And our faith in Humanity has persevered. We did it. Thank you... All of you. And good night."_ - GDI General Secretary Evelyn Rios, upon conclusion of the Fourth Tiberium War, and thus of the entire Tiberium saga.
I'm not sure how deep the lore goes, but I'm sure you guys could do a hell of a job shining a light into Eve Online lore, and it's good to have you guys back.
« You need someone with a voice with some authority and a presence » ... 10:49 « Awaiting those with the will and power... to command and conquer » ... Yep, they have it.
There is a diverging point in the first Red Alert game, that after the Soviet main campaign. The Soviet will still eventually lose to the Allies, possible with a fully committed USA and other European powers (it was mostly just German and Greece with a little bit of support from the UK and France in the First game). My guess is that Russia was occupied much like WWII Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan and it's Government would be created by and in support of the western powers, similarly to real world Germany and Japan. That is also why large portions of GDI have Russia, Ukraine and some other Slavic nationalities contributing manpower, scientific and Space resources as well as Defense Corporations like MiG cnc.fandom.com/wiki/Mikoyan_Design_Bureau%2FScaled_Composites%2C_Inc%2C are supporting other western counterparts, and not to forget that GDI uses the Mammoth tank with the Allied medium tanks (more like Main Battle Tank as it's an M1 Abrams).
Anybody else get the feeling that this is how Templin's Stellaris Invicta got started? I dunno GDI and GTU, some very suspiciously similar TLA's there. Awesome to see Templin back though! Great job!

AAAH MAN‼️ You Guys Couldn't have back any better time than right now!! You Guys have Officially made my DAY!!!! WELCOME Back TEMPLIN!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍🎥🎬
I like the new voice . Who else?
@Captain Jack Reyes Just as good as the previous. Perfect for Templin.
He'll do just fine.
Just glad to see the Institute is back.
Hey, since the new Federations update dropped, have you considered doing season 2 of Stellaris Invicta?
Great to have you back. It brightens the day.
A few suggestions: the dalish and the dales (da), toussaint (witcher), the northern kingdoms (witcher), cintra (witcher), skellige (witcher)
Yo, Templin, have you ever considered doing a video on Eve Online universe, the single one most badass spaceship sci-fi setting in the history of spaceship sci-fi settings.
Do you mean the official lore or the null sec space stuff
Nicolas Diaz both. However there isnt a lot of official lore content even though the lore itself is huge and it fits channel format well, and for sure will be appreciated by the community.
@@nicolasdiaz1542 "null sec space stuff" bruh if they did that it would take many videos or one massive one.
ah C&C loved doing the Engineer Rush (loading APC's with Engineers and overruning Nod/GDI bases) 😋
_"We can all be proud of this historical moment. We've survived the worst. And our faith in Humanity has persevered. We did it. Thank you... All of you. And good night."_
- GDI General Secretary Evelyn Rios, upon conclusion of the Fourth Tiberium War, and thus of the entire Tiberium saga.
I see that you are a bit confused, there were only three tiberium wars.
@@robertkalinic335 I see that you are in a sad state of denial. Take your medication regularly and you'll get better. Lol.
@@shaftoe195 there is no recovery from twilight cancer
@@sword4005 I am not gonna protect C&C4 - I hate EA for doing this to C&C. But whether we like it or not, the game is canon... at least, for now.
@@shaftoe195 as far as im concerned the series ended when Kane launched a tibrian missile into orbit and brought about the technology of peace
It's 3 a.m and here i am, watching this video, reminiscing about that time when i used to play Tiberium wars all night long.
Friendly reminder that Redmond Boyle is Lando Calrissian.
General Solomon is Darth Vader
i never noticed this when i first played in fact i hadnt worked it out until recently
@@ivanfreely6366 Michael Biehn and Michael Ironside are both from Terminator movies as well
And General Granger is Sam Fisher...
I'm not sure how deep the lore goes, but I'm sure you guys could do a hell of a job shining a light into Eve Online lore, and it's good to have you guys back.
Watching This While Playnig Command And Conquer 3
Nice, that's my favorite of the Tiberium series.
So much cool to see new c&c videos like that, especially from The Templin Institute, well done !
New voice is good if a little raspy
Finally your back, finally one about the good guys,
we dont talk about C&C4 lore since it never happened.
Slap those people who mentions 4 cause no one knows about itm
You hath dared to mention the one title that we shall never speak of
Literally best thing I saw on the internet all day! Glad to have you back!!!
"Roll over them!"
"Armor Superiority."
"Firehawk, docked and ready"
"This will be fun"
"The beautiful glow"
"The earth will be ours again"
"Kirov repor..." wait wrong one
*AVATAR READY*
I haven’t sighed with joy seeing a new video from a channel I follow ever until now
*wishes desperately for a return to Tiberian Sun's story setting*
Tiberium wars was really good in my opinion i would love if it got an actual conclusion instead of the game we dont talk about
@@filipkutac1748 what game? Nothing ever released after Kane's wrath
I missed you guys, glad that you are back! Your video rocks, as always, and I really like the new narrator.
Militants: "Down With GDI!"
BLAM! "Die, heretic!"
OOps, wrong universe
I miss you, guys so much! You don't know how much this made me so happy! 😢💗
Down with GDI!
Glad to have you all back. And happy welcomes to the new narrator!
I know Larissa left, but could someone explain why? I'm a bit out of the loop.
That is what I wish I knew too.
The fact they refuse to discuss it sounds like they had a falling out.
So glad to have you guys back. Larissa will be missed but this guys voice is amazing and I cant wait to see more!
You need someone with a voice with some authority and presence to replace Larissa. There was a bravado in her tone.
« You need someone with a voice with some authority and a presence »
...
10:49 « Awaiting those with the will and power... to command and conquer »
... Yep, they have it.
Daaaaaaamn !!!!
WHAT A RETURN.....Templin with C&C !!!!!
What more can i ask for ????????

Wait ! So Russian are the good guy in this ?
It’s good to have you back. Like Kane, Templin lives in death.
Like Kane, Templin lives in death.
Like Kane, Templin LIVES!!!!
Anybody else get the feeling that this is how Templin's Stellaris Invicta got started? I dunno GDI and GTU, some very suspiciously similar TLA's there. Awesome to see Templin back though! Great job!
Nice of the Templin Institute to document the GDI at the same time as the C&C Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert Remasters were released. Thanks for the video, enjoyed it.
