He was in the Household Cavalry? Yeh, right 😂
He must have been the CO.
@@peterrollinson-lorimer Obviously he has been kicked in the head by Ormonde!
Yea mucking out the stables
He was in a Household...thats about it.
@@donnastanley9969😂😂😂
It seems that almost everyday there is another drunk or mental patient that shows up causing trouble!!! Poor Cops .Poor Guards
I went along this area in Late 70s hardly anybody stopped to Gawp at the Guards .
Horse Guards is a magnet for them. They come out of the drains at night.
And to think they do it all just to defend a handful of people, who are literally JUST PEOPLE
@@johnchapman6013 London turned it into a tourist attraction.
He served his country for 20 years.
I don't like the whole horse touching thing. It's not a petting zoo.
as I’ve said, years ago you were not allowed near the horses & guards. You had to stand a few feet away !
Maybe they need to go back to the way it was years ago, no touching the horses, you can still have you photo, but no touching anymore, as you’ll be a couple of feet away. Just a thought, then keeps the space around the guard & horse free, & just in case horse gets spooked, less danger to the public
they're only there for the tourists anyway, what do they expect?
You are not alone. I say it all the time. I wish they can stop allowing this.
I feel it is very unsafe to have the public near the guards and the horses. They are very vulnerable to a terrorist attack.
"I was in the Household Cavalry for 20 years" that is the biggest peice of shit i have heard in my entire 20 years of living.
LOLOL
@@margaretflounders8510 frrr
Exactly....then he should know getter
Sure with his hog body line and sky arms...
You can tell he was by his attention to detail while he dresses.
The horse guard should be allowed to use his sabre with impunity
Lol they'd give him room then
Taser tipped saber?
Did he just claim to be ex-Household Cavalry? 🤣🤣🤣 One thing you notice about veterans of Guards Regiments is that they never lose their posture. They stand as ramrod straight in their 80s as they did in their 20s.
A soldier can always recognise a soldier, I know, I've been commented on my posture, gait as well as general attitude; because those who know the military or have served still have some respect for what it stands for! I am now 60 and although I am not as fit or have the same physical, prowess as I did back then I would like to believe I can still hold my own and with honour!
@@iananderson1231 Especially British and Commonwealth countries the drill is so rigid and pounded into you. Not knocking any other counties its just the British style
If he was a former guard, then he should know better and show more respect.
My feelings about rude idiots like this, should be fined. Officers are just doing their jobs. The Guards were getting b ready to leave, your standing there blocking their path flapping your gums. Obviously you've been drinking.
They are egoistical bullies with guns. Clueless.
from the perspective of the guy the police officer was the rude one. he just walks up to the guy and tells him to get back, get out of the way, as if everyone understands what's happening. all the guy had to do was say "changing of the guard, step back". and he would have understood why he was being told to step back and it wouldn't have come off as so rude. You just go up to someone and say "get out of the way" the persons just going to be confused as to what they are in the "way" of...
police need to be able to communicate well with the public, and this guys limit is shouting vague commands at people... and they let him have a gun, but not actual intelligent people? christ.
They change out every hour.
@@dianekruger5977 and this office should have been capable of communicating that beyond shouting "get back" at people.
Most tourists do not listen to milder tones. I have watched plenty of videos like this where tourists think they can just do what they want.
Hes like a little energiser bunny . He just keeps going on & on .
Legend has it he's still talking back, even though he's 20 miles away at home
In the old days he'd be taken round the corner for a quiet chat. He says :"you think I'm a dickhead". Me: "er....yeah".
Don't you miss the good old days?
I wrote what someone I knew experienced at the hands of the Met in "the good ol' days" but it was obviously a bit too much for YT so they deleted it. However, despite some of their excesses I would prefer to go back to the older ways regardless.
In the old days, our Police didn't resemble something that swept in from the sand dunes.
Old days were best days, where respect could be "quiet chatted" into knobheads.
@dylanandmolly3739 good old days as you call them are long gone now everyone's got a camera phone keeping the old bill in check thus avoiding a good kicking round the back alley, I'd say these are the good new days🤣
I hate watching grown adults walking directly between kids and the horse. Hello? Who was there first?
"I was in the Household Cavalry!" = "I once lived in a household, and I have seen a horse."
there should be laws allowing the arrest of idiots disrespecting police. in all countries.
those police have no powers outside the gates.
Waving arms and yelling, then mad because they're looking at him. 🙄
He should go on a world privacy tour. 😂
I was in the Household Cavalry for 20 years. What he was meant to say was I haven't have a house in 20 years. Get your self to Dover mate
You can tell you were in the Guards!
Social media has created , or at least displayed to the world, a gutter level of stupidity I never thought of mankind.
the crazies were and always will be with us ,they are just more visable with media covering them
Yes I agree, I live in CA, and there are so many crazies, one here killed a girl walking her dog, in a good beach area, too!.... but, I feel for the Guards and horses and MOD.....
Every village has one. 🤪
Seems to be a bit of an embarrassment. Back to the big top with you.

Arrest him
Why? He hasn’t committed any crime
@@wecandothiswarriors Whatever happened to those good old offences such as "drunk & disorderly", "public nuisance", and "causing an affray"?
Yes he has, disturbing the peace.
Behaving suspiciously warrants arrest. He could be a threat to public order. At least issue a fine, say £250 for being a dickhead and not moving on. Good start.
For what? Its a public pavement, thankfully they need a reasonable cause to arrest

He needed to be shown what exactly these guards and their horses can actually do to move the crowd.
People do crazy things when they are drink. He won't remember tomorrow
He won't remember tomorrow but the cops will, he's on their naughty list. 😠
It's about time the public were fenced off from the soldiers and horses, who are there to do a job of work. What would be the reaction of a member of the public if they were to be bitten or kicked by a horse?? Probably "I'll see you in court"!! I wonder what the horse would reply??
They are bitten all the time, especially if Ormonde is on duty. In one of the videos, Ormonde clamps down on some guys forearm and will NOT let go, the guy looks at the guard and says "he's biting me and wont let go" and the guard just shrugs. They can't sue even if they wanted, there are signs clearly saying "this horse may kick or bite" if they continue then its by their choice, which eliminates any chance of going to court.
@@Nobby76 Thank you for your input. My comment regarding "fencing off" was genuine, the bit about "going to court" was a certain amount tongue in cheek. However, I do remember a court case some years ago concerning someone who had stroked a dog and been bitten. There was a clear notice about it being a "dangerous dog". It was adjudged that the notice was no defence and the owner was fined and had to pay damages. I suppose it comes down to "wording" and "interpretation"??
The wonders of alcohol.
If it sounds like a Richard cranium, looks like a Richard cranium, and acts like a Richard cranium, then guess what?
This is a perfect example why tourists should not be allowed near the Guards & the horses-talking back to police with armed guns and being disrespectful! Something should be done!
Nah, perfect example of why Londoners shouldn't be allowed to drink before 6 pm.
not much of a tourist attraction if tourists were not allowed near them.
That guy isn't even a tourist.... he sounds like a Londoner. He should know better.
Just F.O . Will ya .
Poor horse being bothered continuously by the public.
Most sensible comment yet👍
They were lucky he was such a sweetheart. Some horses would nip their fingers.
Horse probably wish to be Somewhere else.
I would think that the guards would choose the most docile/best trained horses available to limit the possibility of people being injured.
@@macadoom00 These horses are the best trained in the world. What has changed is the level of disrespect from the tourists who think the notices do not apply to them.
Even horses with the best temperament can decide they have had enough, want to quit or react. Personally, I would like to see barriers to keep the people out of touching distance. I don't remember these problems when I lived in London in the sixties, and certainly not more than the occasional horse acting up.
Yep, going about my his own business...disturbing the peace & quiet
What percentage of hobos are coincidentally human rights advocates ?

I guess the guards and police forgot that the world revolves around his selfies...SMH
What a drama queen that guy is.🤣
People like him ramble on so loud wanting to be heard and wanting to be right, he was waiting for anyone to side with him and no-one did. Nobody cares what people in that mindset think or want.
You have to admire their restraint.
Restraint? they have zero powers on a public footpath.
There is no way in the world that man was in the Household Division. The Royal Catering corps. Maybe! But Not the Guards!
NOT toy guns, what a fool. Of course police are going to keep watching him, he's unpredictable.
Wow what a week it has been buska and thank you for taking the time to film the nonsense that goes along at horse guard.
People shouldn't be allowed to touch the King's Horses while they are guarding the realm.
....remember what happened to poor old Humpty Dunpty.
Cant even dress himself properly lol
Its Khans London am afraid, we got everyone's strange people here. 🤔
So embarrassing. Man child having a tantrum
Why are you looking at you? Probably because they can't believe that anybody could be so ugly or so stupid
Or maybe it's because he wouldn't shut his mouth.
The rearrangement of the Horse Guards to segregate pedestrians -tourists is necessary.
However much they pay those cops - it's nowhere near enough!!!
Mate they just smile and wave. Not fussed at all. lol
to stand around doing fa all day? they should be somewhere else doing actual police work, not acting as the royal families personal armed guard. meanwhile everyone else cant even protect their own homes with so much as a spoon or they get arrested. whatever they're getting paid its too much.
It's not a toy it's real. If it was a toy, would you ask them to shoot you?

Don't smoke weed kids!!.
Thank you for standing up. I’m dual, uk/usa, when I go home the changes stand out more between visits. I get emotional sometimes, my American gf got, pissed when I almost clocked a guy like this, not far from there. Liberal. Clueless, no respect to ancient culture. They’d never walk over the Japanese like that, probably get karate chopped by crowd.
Only a mother could love that face !
"Toy gun?", BANG, "Did that feel like a toy?". lol
Notice he is constantly moving farther away as he is mouthing off.
There needs to be more prominent signage, in various languages, stating Don’t touch the horse.
This is shocking and embarrassing.
As someone else stated, it’s not a petting zoo.
I can’t believe this….
You can spot a lefty agitator a mile of playing up for the cameras 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I noticed that the farther he got from the police, the braver he got with his talk.
He knew they were powerless.
How to embarrass one self!
I’m sure he’s not the first and he won’t be the last to act like he’s batshit crazy 🤪
He’s an embarrassment to the country, soldiers and police force that do their job day in & day out.
Why must everyone feel the need to touch the horse?
I live 3 hours away from London and never seen or want to see a soldier sitting on a horse.
I was here when this guy started gibbing off. Weirdos.
Is this the famous "Crusty" who goes around London agitating all and sundry? Lock him up...
Why's this allowed to carry on the royal guards duty is to guard the crown therefore is be allowed to use force to do his job.
LOL, no they are not.
7:18 The head shake by the young officer says it all.
Can't blame the foreign tourists for this little drama. That kind of idiocy is "Made in England" !
No way that drunk is ex Household Cavalry…and 20 years at that! Neither is he ex military from any other regiment, nor Royal Air Force! Have another drink to give you more bravado…
Jeez, what do people think they are there for? It's not a petting zoo.
He is what the British call " a right Knob ".
I am ashamed. They must've been weeding. What a shame 👿! Their parents are absent too at home.
There is so much mental health on our streets, these fools should be working instead of walking around all day
I think a fence and gate around the soldier and horse would be great. People can get photos by the fence with the soldier and horse in the background.
It is about time we put a stop to all of this, tourist attraction or otherwise.
"All day breakfast"... as someone who works in the police he's clearly no stranger to a cell...
The headshake of the officer at 7:20 tells all there is to know about that troublemaker 😂😂😂
He is drunk if not completely smashed. Unfortunate, as this type of behavior is too common with British tourists.
A fine example of the damage that class a drugs can do.
They live among us wonder what he has been sniffing today, they never shut up.
The King's guard are some of the best soldiers. Do not fuck with....
Imagine if Noddy had escaped Toyland and discovered Diamond White and Crack. Wel, that bloke.
Everything about that guy says petty criminal, from his faded appearance, speech pattern, being intimidated by people just doing their job, his over defensiveness of his own actions through verbally attacking the officers. What a waste of space.
