Restraining orders are mostly useless. People(mostly women) are harmed while on a RO or PFA all the time. Most police depts. are too busy to bother with complaints about violations, or the response is usually late. Attorneys love getting paid to file them.

They failed miserably and were nothing but a laughing stock. They allowed the whole thing to be drawn out and to escalate and become more serious. They wear all the gear and uniform, can talk the talk but simply can't walk the walk. Why have these people on the station when they are so incompetent? I shudder to think how they'd cope if there was a serious incident at this station such as a fire or bomb ... to think that the public's safety and wellbeing is in the hands of this crowd!

He bears an uncanny resemblance to this chronically homeless dude in my city named Thomas. They are basically the same person. Not even drug users, just so unbelievably insufferable, antisocial, and delusional that nobody can stand to be around them, not even their own family. Even the acting crazy in the UK thing is the same. I'm American, and "Thomas" spent quite a bit of time in a UK jail for a *restraining order violation* before getting deported back to America.
Both of them have been in and out of mental institutions his whole life, and will continue to be until the day they leave this earth.
