Everyday these working soldiers face disrespect and humiliation from the public for doing their job, it needs to stop. This kind of behaviour doesn't happen at Buckingham Palace. Close this whole area to the public!

I feel truly sorry that The Guard must endure this treatment. It's a shame when the adults act as bad as the teens. Even I know, being over in the states, these men and women deserve the utmost respect. They shouldn't even have to shout "Make Way", people should be aware and get out of their way. The patience they have is admirable, having to deal with such disrespect.
It is not direspect. Its a tourist attraction. People are allowed to walk there. All the signs are onley in englisch, there are very much more languaches in the world. Their tourist who do not know that even the shouting has become a tourist attraction.

By the way the horses are the biggest victems here.
I don t think anyone should be able to touch or come near the horses. For one thing I don't believe they are trained to endure people's constant touching poking and crowding them. Being bitten is no joke. They can shred a shoulder or remove a chunk of flesh quite easily. Being kicked is life altering been there done that soft arena saved me but never got on a horse again. I would thank the guards maybe it's not done but they deserve respect.

Is it me, or do others feel that there should be more restrictions on the crowds around the Horse Guards? I don't think people realise that these are soldiers who fight for their country, who protect their royalty, who can fire a gun if necessary!!
I agree yet they know it's a customary presentation from the past of the old guard, and not a show of true military might to defend against 21st century enemies. They just can't with what they're armed with. Ridicule of anyone's culture and customs is outright ignorant, yet I'm sure they are well aware of exposure to idiots and knowingly take on the customary roles. The armed police do a good job taking care of the jerks!

I couldn’t be a guard or policeman here because I would get sacked after a day like this and there would be a few smashed mobile phones littering the place. And that youth that said “relax” would be enjoying a trip to one of our hospitals. What the hell is wrong with people?
Is it impossible for people to just witness and enjoy an event which they can have as a nice memory. The sight of all the mobile phones makes my blood boil.

A lot of people don't know the guards are military. Seeing them march through the crowds with their big floppy boots and elaborate head plumes is kind of funny. Then they give the big shouts. Not what people expect.

I can only dream of just admiring the scenery, architecture, and history of England. Also, these people have never been taught if something is not your you should not touch it. I have always taught my daughter to never touch someones animal unless she has asked. Because, some animals are working, and it could distract them.

I'm proud to say my Sons are both soldiers. Neither is a guardsman, but the respect they have for these guardsmen is immense.

I'm glad to see the security made that crowd of men leave, they were laughing & being disrespectful, becoming giddy and egging each other on, too many in number, loud and looking to make themselves some fun out of the royal guard and horse. I like that the horse knocked one of them out of the way and the security guy had the courage and authority to make them all leave despite the whining of the guy with the camera, lying, and pretending they were not disrespectful. I assume he does not know what respect is, therefore, does not know when it's missing.
You got it wrong. The guy with the camera is Buska in the Park, who has had his own channel for a long time, and is one of the only TH-camrs who educates ignorant visitors and tells them off when they’re being disrespectful. He told the crowd in this video, “You have to leave.”

I’m so proud of our guards with their beautiful horses they look immaculate everyday they put up with tourists who can be quite rude at times and they keep their composure I love them all
This spectacle is symbolic of modern society meets traditional values, there are always rules to respect but we have so many special people to whom these rules don’t apply; especially if they’re boosting their social media profile. These guards must be wishing they could be more forceful to stop the idiots.
