I like this idea in theory but yes it is challenging to keep up. A somewhat-similar experience can be had with something like a Z Flip 5, especially if you limit yourself to only using the cover display (which can technically use any app). You may find yourself being less distracted because you have to open the phone to really use the time-wasters. Becca from the Verge did a video trying this.

I know it’s not ideal to use a watch instead of a phone, but the fact that it was doable is really amazing. This was the stuff we used to see in old science-fiction movies. What a time to be alive with the technology we have today.

In India, Apple doesn't allow "Tap to Pay" on any of their devices. I think that is a must to have feature, considering the Tech is already built-in

In India, my son uses his Samsung Galaxy watch and phone to make contactless payments. I can’t do that with my Apple Watch.

I always leave the house with just my Ultra 2. It’s very freeing. It is challenging as well. This day and age we are out of the norm without our phones. It’s interesting watching everyone on their phones when you don’t have yours.

I’ve got cellular AW series 7 for 8 months now but since I manage to change from a plan for the watch I always go to work without my iPhone. Only my Apple Watch and it’s good for me [ no Facebook, no instagram, no X ]. Just focus on my work as I know I can talk to my family and friend if I need to.

Messenger was the main one because I use it to sell used tech stuff, and just daily responding to emails etc, just took an extra beat. Good point, I'll summarise better going forward.
