Tempted to get the Ultra currently have S7 45mm but the bigger screen and longer battery on the Ultra kind of justifies the extra price tag! What would you recommend?

Obviously, in this day and age many of us need our phones for work, emergencies etc. But this video was so relaxing. You’re limited in some things but still connected to your notifications without having to be glued to the phone 24/7. Enjoyed this video.

Great vid 👍 Have the A4 and I’m not seeing any real reason to upgrade. Battery life is disappointing and still no camera, even if only to read QR codes…

Great test of the watch, do you recommend the Yellow dive band or should I go with the trail band?
I prefer the trail band! The dive band isn't comfortable for me personally to wear all day and overnight.

I have this ultra , my first Apple Watch, trying to get used to it. One thing I do not find is how to find a contact ? Î mean having thousands of contact it is really not practical to do it by turning the crown… or just Siri ? Thanks Tam

So which watch do you like better? The series 8 or the Ultra? I love the looks of the starlight color you have with the 8, but the battery life and flat, larger screen is tempting on the ultra.
For everyday use, I think I prefer the Series 8! It’s more subtle + slim.
We are planning to get our son an Apple Watch Ultra for school since they aren't allowed to have phones in class, but can have watches. We are wanting him to be able to contact us in an emergency or if he needs something. He also has an iPad, but no phone.
Did you get a separate plan for your watch or the same phone plan ??

If it had a camera and all the settings could be adjusted from the watch it would be possible to use it as a phone replacement. The only thing I can’t do is Wells Fargo Banking only because they don’t have an app. I hardly use the keyboard for anything besides editing if the text to speech gets a word wrong. I’m glad it’s there though. I use a camera at work a lot to document my progress etc. so I end up needing a camera and it would be BOSS if the next version had a decent one. It would be good for QR codes, face time, work etc. if they put a pro camera on it, we will enter the next era where we generally don’t need carry a phone unless it’s for a specific reason. It will be a better world with more heads up interactions and few big phones on us. That would be fine with apple too because they will be charging the same price as a phone for wearables which are ultimately cheaper to manufacture and less environmental impact. Apple Watch Ultra is paving the way for a better, future tech experience.

u must don’t do anything on your phone i’m a cellular user and by the end of the day i need to charge it so i must be leaving yours in the box 📦
@@Cjmboo I use my phone for about 7-8 hours a day and I use my watch a lot too and by the end of the day I’m at 70%+
I work 12 hours a day. I with cellular on I come home with 40 to 50 percent. And I text all 12 hours on it

Ya , but did you turn the iphone off? That would be the true test if it recieves all the notifications and how the battery life is.
Not being able to support carplay is a deal breaker for me. I really want to ditch my iphone badly for just a watch and macbook for bigger things. I hope apple will think about this use case.

The ultra is rated for roughly 36 hours & up to 60 hours with low power mode the “18 hours” is for previous Apple Watches 🤷🏽♂️🤦♂️

stopped watching at 30 seconds when clueless tells us ultra battery life is 18 hours. The official ultra battery life is 36h standard and upto 72h in low power mode. Personally I got 90h on low power mode on my ultra before putting it on charge when it showed 1% battery remaining.
DO NOT WASTE TIME ON THIS VIDEO. ITS CLEARLY JUST USING TAGS TO GET VIEWERS AND RAISE REVENUE WITHOUT ANY REAL SUBSTANCE.

I’m most definitely wont be having a problem wearing my ultra watch everyday to replace my cellphone! Because I’m not a phone junky nor somebody got to have a phone! I been waiting on a watch like this all my life! With this type of phone call quality, messaging quality! Plus also nice apps qualities that’s all I need! Ultra watch for on the go, and iPad for at home! That’s all I need anything more just a waste of money! Unless u own certain businesses
