Always good to see your video mate …. Isnt the ultra very bulky ? I am a 41mm user and dont you think 49mm will look more like a gigantic tech display and less like a watch on the wrist ? But yeah battery life is a deal breaker … i coulda used the better battery life than the increased peak brightness on s9….

Ultra battery is good. The price is 3x more than my apple watch 7. 150usd vs 450usd. Is it worth the upgrade? 🤔
I don't know if it actually makes a noticeable difference in the weight, but your weight measurements probably should've been without the bands on.
Additionally, how old is your Series 7? Could've been worth checking and reporting the battery health of it if it's something you've been using for some time. I mean it was going to be a given that the Ultra would last longer, but still.
Good point. Watch 7 and Ultra are both 100% health. I wanted to measure the weight with the preferred bands for each. So wanted to see weight difference with bands on. The stainless band is what tips the scale.

Wow, your video's really pull at ones ... emotions! Would love to buy an Apple Watch Ultra but, you really need an iPhone to make good use of it. Something which, I never plan to do because a powerful $100 Android mobile telephone more than meets my needs. Also, since 1996, my home desktop computers have all been Apple systems (smile...smile).
I still rock the Series 4 coming from the first Apple Watch. I can’t keep track how many straps (oem & rip off) I’ve bought 😅 these things last for as long as the battery can.
Ultra is heavy and bulky. Also just got banned due to infringement. Pathetic Apple violating copyrights

Just upgraded from Watch Series 3 to a used Ultra 1. I love the Ultra, and getting it used was a good deal cheaper than a new one. Paid 630 Euro. Thanks for a good video :)

LOVE my ultra 2, that my lovely woman got for me. I’ve left the house so many times with just my watch. It’s freeing. I spent about 8 hours out away from my phone and only lost 12%. That’s 8 hours on cellular away from the phone and it only lost 12% 🤯
Mental battery. You don't know until you try the smaller regular apple watch. 1.5 day battery is baaad.
Going back to Garmin, Apple is more worried about texting from your watch than fitness and health. I’m tired of using 3rd party apps for everything.

Garmin is the only GPS watch worth having nowadays. I got an Apple Watch Ultra 2 three months ago, after having all Garmin Fenix since the 5. After trying my best to like the AWU2, I sold it yesterday and got an Epix Pro 2 Sapphire. Once you have a flagship Garmin, it's impossible to forget it. Apple did a great job with smart features, mainly on the cellular connection. But they are decades behind Garmin regarding what to do with all the data collected. People used to say AWU2 is a smartwatch and Garmin is a sports watch, but I totally disagree. The way Apple deals with data is not smart AT ALL. So, if I don't have a Garmin, I prefer to use an analog watch than wear any other 'smartwatch' on the market.

Yeah. You can still buy it because of the appeal. They’ll do a software update to continue selling them. S9 and Ultra 2 both use same tech that they got sued for.
