Love this. Loved Deon Estes, the African American with the dreads playing the guitar. For me, he was always the third WHAM member. When George went solo, Deon stayed many years with George. George wrote Deon a song “heaven help me” which was terrific. George did the background vocals on it. He wrote a song for Pepsi n Shirley when they went solo n did the background vocals for them. George Michael, the best. RIP you beautiful man.
Just talking about Deon Estes , found out he passed away today. He is up there with George n Marvin Gaye as he played for Marvin before George RIP you 3 beautiful men.

Jesus this brings me back. Back to some amazing days. America couldn't get this album until Make It Big came out. I have been a fan since I was 13. I am 50 now. I remember my local video store had a copy of Wham! The Video for rent and it was checked out by me constantly. LOL! Eventually they put it in their bargain bin for like 5 bucks and I begged my Mom to buy it for me. She did and I wore that VHS out!! George was and will always be a legend.

But showcased GM's incredible cross-genre " he can sing, song-write and produce ANYTHING abilities very early on. :)

LOL I think it is so cute how people don't want to admit what a useless waste of space Andrew was. Andrew produce? LOL I don't think he can even spell the word. He didn't do sh*t in the group except for he was there so Wham! could be a duo b/c George was not confident enough to go solo at that time. All of that - then entire song was George. Even the parts Andrew is lip syncing in the clip, was George! lol George only gave Andrew writing and producing credit b/c he knew Andrew would get lifetime royalties cus what else can Andrew do after Wham!? Nothing. Like Careless Whisper. That was ALL George from writing, producing, composing, arranging to creating that saxophone riff himself. Andrew did not write one letter of that song, yet GM gave him writing credit. Because he was so generous, he wanted to make sure his useless best friend was set up for life. RIP George.
@@shayla-lee Hi Shaleen, That may be true but you have to remember they where the best of mates, like brothers. They worked very close in the begining, even writting a few songs together! Yes George was the main writer but George said If he didn't meat Andrew the way he did, George didn't think he would have gone on to his musical carrer! So I'd say Anrdew & George where a team.👯🎼🎶
@@shayla-lee Have you read Andrew's recent book? He talked about how they both created Wham!'s early singles including Careless Whisper even George mentioned how Andrew came up with the guitar strings of it.
@@shayla-lee this is such a lie omg. Wham wouldn’t even exist if it weren’t for Andrew, George was scared to form a group cuz his parents wouldn’t approve but Andrew encouraged him. Also Andrew helped write the songs, he played instruments and sometimes did backup singing.
