    I really enjoyed this series and appreciate the raw days in the life. I am inspired to try this diet even though giving up gluten will be hard for me. Your kids look so robust and healthy.

      @@hollydingman7455 I now got 2 of Dr Natasha's books. But they are not an easy read and it will take me a long time to take in all. It's a good thing with channels like BumblebeeApothecary that quickly give great information to get started. I wish you the best in your pursuit for health!

    Wow, a great video series, a lot of information to absorb and remember. I have the yellow book "Gut and Psychology Syndrome", and am still reading through it. I also have "Heal Your Gut Cookbook", and just received "GAPS Stage by Stage, With Recipes". I'm looking forward to good healing for me. Thank you for your guidance.

    Did full GAPS as a family last September and fallowed GAPS about one year but got really loose towards the end we simply couldn't afford to continue and I was not able to get my kids to eat soup and my ex ( kids Dad) was not as helpful as would be necessary to be strict with the kids on food he is very much a standard American diet guy but he is making improvements or was. We attempted adding potatoes as in theory the least harmful way to cut costs but I don't think it was ideal we have delt with issues but there are other factors my mom is more plant based so they were given access to lots of fruits and vegetables when she watched them and if they have no limits on fruit they won't touch vegetables. So we settled that for now my daughter could eat school lunch and not restric her diet include sourdough beans rice and she could go out to eat with Dad basically I am only willing to spend a very small amount of the budget on her extras but she is permitted to eat any of those imperfect several dollars cheaper because it has trace amounts of naughty or non gaps allowed things. Freeing up room in the budget. I am giving myself grace to not stress force feeding my son meat stock and basically he is on Paleo and I am back on GAPS after a two month exploring the foods not on GAPS. I am hoping by next fall I can get my kids to do intro with me and do GAPS protocol more proper. I am going to go back through intro but I am giving myself a week of GAPS foods only before it was a bit hard to go cold turkey off of all sweets and fruit and honey in a day. And I wanted tea and I just couldn't go without honey. November 1st going to start intro. I want to make sure my house is fully stocked and I have plenty of meat stock and other gaps foods on hand

      Did the one year gaps help your health issues? does everybody in the family still have health issues that require them to do it again?

    • @lemonadewithniecey
      @lemonadewithniecey 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We could not do it perfectly no it didn't heal any health issues at all. But my son had less behavior issues on it and I lost 10lbs on it and gained 30 off it. And my daughter has more issues than before GAPS but we won't go back on it. It's way more important to lower stress. Unless you have stress pretty low you will not heal! I have lowered my stress quite a bit that is my main focus noise cancelling earbuds was way more valuable and investment for me they were $300. I don't think it was a waste it just was ineffective and perhaps if I tried lowering my stress first but I still can't sleep I thought GAPS would fix that. But I don't think I will try GAPS ever again not fully but I will likely do more of a traditional foods W.A. price or Paleo. Soups have never been a go to food for me. I really have to force myself to drink broth or eat soup it's a lot of work. Low grain or no grain or gluten free are not really that hard and incorporating fermented foods are not either.

    Why do you refer to your family as “people” and not “my family, my children, my husband” etc… It’s very odd language.
