Hey I just wanted to say that I feel like every time I have a problem on GAPS you just so happen to make a video on it THAT WEEK! I honestly feel like God provides for me through these videos. I have a GAPS practitioner and I’ve seen coaches but I swear every time you release a video it is perfectly on time. The Holy Spirit must be really moving on your work. It’s the funniest thing: I have a party and you let out a baked goods recipe. I have ribs in my freezer I don’t know what to do with and you let out a video on BBQ sauce. In the beginning of GAPS I burned butter trying to make Ghee and that week you let out the Ghee video. I feel really thankful for people like you!

I was excited when my daughter Rachel told me you taught on Bumblebee Apothecary!!!I You used to live in my neighborhood! I was so grateful for your help decorating my tree during the holidays! I have enjoyed your farm house domestic skills! I'm learning from your meals, probiotics and so much more!
God has blessed your home and made you a joyful mother of children. Psalm 113:9 When you are in Vancouver again come say hello!

Hi Marisa, I am six months into gaps intro, working with a certified gaps Coach, your videos are really helpful. May I offer a friendly suggestion… I find the background music while you are speaking very distracting, it’s much more difficult to focus on what you are saying, especially if I’m tired and detoxing. Best wishes and thanks for all the fab videos. Oh and I am a magnesium balm customer of yours, amazing product.

Marissa, I’m so glad I found you. Your videos on GAPS are the best on YT. Thank you. I truly believe the Lord Jesus has brought me to GAPS and you are His helper. I’m day 3 in Intro but I did put veggies in my meat broth soup as Dr. Natasha suggests for those dealing with constipation. I am drinking the broth between meals as Dr. Natasha says to do in her book too. I am still working my way through book. I am experiencing die-off big time (achy joints, sore muscles, low energy, just feeling blah) but wow am I sleeping, which is a complete turn around for me-I usually have terrible sleep so I take this as a sign I’m healing, hallelujah! And the intense histamine itching has subsided greatly. I no longer have to take Benadryl every day just to get through. I’m looking forward to being on “the other side.” Thank you again for what you do!!

I wish I would have known NOT to start with intro if I struggled with constipation. The first 5 weeks I had stocks, no veggies, salt, water, and boiled beef. Then week 6-14 I introduced ghee, sauerkraut juice, and egg yolks successfully.
I’m showing a lot of signs of liver toxicity. I’m very constipated… looking into coffee enemas. Doing a little better on fat digestion, but it’s all just not moving. Thank you for this video! Dandelion is a great liver/and kidney ally. I also don’t don’t eat or drink dairy ferments.
Will try to get it all figured out, thank you!

We are not new to diets as we were GF/CF for 10 years. Now we have been off that diet for almost 10 years.
I started reading her book and now it all makes sense at why it was so good for us at first but stopped and my son ended up with Colitis crohn's.

I started out on full gaps because I didn't know there were different stages, and I was doing great, but since I went on the introduction diet, I've been super constipated and ginger tea is not helping. I wonder if I should even bother ever going through the introduction diet again and just do full gaps. I don't care if I have die-off symptoms. I'd honestly rather go through the die-off symptoms than have to deal with constipation and the difficulty of the introduction diet.

We’ve read everything in the book that I can find and done regular and coffee enemas, basically everything that you’ve mentioned in this video. Hi thanks you for all the GAPS videos I binge watched all of them ...much appreciated :) , I am on 1st stage and suffering from chronic constipation for a few years now ! More fiber makes it worse , do you think cutting out the veg on the 1st stage soups and meat stock can help ? I am taking laxatives even though it’s not recommended on GAPS , but I can’t afford to be constipated since I have a anal fissure atm .

    • @lopezerika8878

I have a similar issue to yours and was advised by my gaps coach to start on Stage 2 gaps with no vegetables(no fiber diet). I tried this method for a few months and had little results.
I have now switched my diet up a bit and started incorporating the Vegs that I cook with my meat (vegetables are cooked for 2-3 hours before consuming) and this has helped me become more regular. 1 x a day is a huge win in my book!
Not saying this will be the solution for you, simply provide my experience for your reference.
I wish you luck on your healing journey 🙏

What can I do more for my 13 year’s old child? She was delivered by c-section , breastfeed, and had antibiotics for uti-infections from 8 month to 1.3 years old. I use probiotics, kefir, kombucha( from store - she doesn’t like my homemade). I make a juice at morning for her but she refuses to put raw cream and eggs , she consumes carrot/celery/apple juice with her breakfast (cooked eggs/ bacon/ fruits). I cook from scratch all food from GAPS book ( full diet) for many years, all baby food was made from our garden vegetables and fruits. . We have very big organic garden, she eats lot of tomato’s , papers, peaches, and berries. She has good probiotic on regular basis. She loves pickles but only with vinegar. We walk one hour per day. She still has BM every 3-4 days. She refused to do enema. How much kombucha can she have per day? She drinks 16 oz battle per day (and would like more) .

If she refuses to do an enema, you can give her magnesium citrate. I use this daily and have for the last 20 years as I’m chronically constipated, too. I take 1 teaspoon a day with a squeeze of fresh lemon, before bed, and usually have a BM in the morning. It’s getting better now that I’ve begun GAPS intro with vegetables in my broth. I am hoping I don’t have to rely on the magnesium citrate anymore at some point. But it DOES work.
