I got my Galaxy Note 9 in 2022. Its absolutely gorgeous and I am enjoying it. Great battery life, Powerful Cameras, headphone jack, S pen, beautiful display and speed. Great video sir.
Thanks for the wonderful info. Yes, i am too note9 fan. It works awesome. The spen, iris scanner, hear beat sensor and samsung pay are the features i use everyday. Not to forget the knox. It has high security as well. But not sure, how many years more samsung is going to give updates.
Got my wife s22 ultra upgrade from note 9. I use v60 and I'm happy. I'd love the s22 ultra for me, if it had a freaking headphone jack. It's like we're on the same wavelength man! I really enjoy my v60 for the reasons that we know. Now we have her backup note 9 to play with. The timing of this video is very...perplexing and pertinent to our exact situation. Edit: Great video...again Eric👍. This comment might be a bit long . I both agree and disagree with you. I love my S22U, the only real negative is..NO SD CARD!. Other than that, I really, really like using it. The Note 9...🤩 Agree that this was and still is a masterpiece. It's one of my top 3 phones, and that says a lot! This was actually my first Note device that I used every single day. Remember how stunned I was when I got it! The first Galaxy I had with stereo speakers! However...my wife who also loves cellphones (and me...🙃), still use her Note 9 as her actual main device, and she's a heavy user. ( I think she's got her 2nd SIM in her Fold2 right now). Yesterday she told me that she was thinking about replacing the battery in her Note 9. Didn't even cross her mind changing to a newer device. That's how good the Note 9 is. Keep up with the good work Eric🤘🇧🇻👍
The Note 9 is still popular in this part of the world due to its price. If you're to get an expensive flagship like the Note 22 ultra, you'll have to pay cash, no contracts like in the U.S.
Well shit...this makes me miss my Note 9 vs the S22 Ultra. The Note 9 is going to my son so I'm very happy to see this! I do miss all those features mentioned! 💯
I don't know man. I traded my note 9 and note 20 ultra for my S22 ultra. I'm definitely not regretting it. This phone is absolutely amazing. And with the trade-ins it only cost me $89. While I loved my note 9 at first, ran it for 2 years, the dismal battery life and 60 hertz display just killed it for me. If I didn't have the luxury of being able to have the latest and greatest, I would still be happy with that note 9 though. Great video sir.
I own both, Note9 and S22 Ultra 512Gb each. The S22 Ultra has things that Note9 doesn't. Wide angle cam, macro and periscope lens. For me, the most complete and versatile cameras on a smartphone. And with the oneUI 5.0 it is a total upgrade with new features ! The biometric features of Note9 that are missing from S22 Ultra, i got them on my smart watch ! But no doubt Note9 is still the most completed and features packed smartphone in the world, that is why is my backup device and not for sale ! A real treasure !
Making the black Friday upgrade to the galaxy s22 plus from my OG 2018 black Friday note 9, she's been a trooper but it's time to lay her to rest. Note 9 2018 2022 May you rest as the knight you are.
I came from an O2 (not samsung) to an S2 (samsung) in 2012 and it was phenomenal change. Then from S2 to Note 9, again spetacular changes. But now, my Note9 is beaten up, I need to buy a new S23U or fix my N9. I don't thing I will be in awe with the change like previously, soo I am strongly considering just fix my N9 and keep it for at least 2 more years. What you think?
I dropped mine like 40k times... the first time it gave me a blue eye... only when i dropthrew it onto my electrical guitar it got a knack... i since dropped it driving by bike falling out of my pocket onto concrete or just letting it fall flat from my hand and the knack only slightly got bigger.. its still absolutely usable, has no issues whatsoever... only overheats when i charge it and have splitwindows open where at least one is more demanding like flipa clip or ibispaintx... love this phone! So durable, so many possibilities
Still using mine daily & it still does everything required as a daily driver. At the time it was expensive but it has served me well. I will update but for now I'm happy to keep.
So true. So often consumers are being charged more for less and many will pay more for less than what they already had. Newer isn’t always better. I was given a galaxy note 9 for free. It came with my 2018 Samsung QLED 55 inch Q9FN flag ship tv. I gave the phone to my dad and the phone was worth around £800 plus at the time. All those years later I wasn’t happy with the phones I tried. I had a iPhone 12 mini and sent it back after one day because I never had full bars for reception. I bought a refurbished galaxy note 9 a couple of days ago off eBay for around £170. Whilst I’m not a fan of large phones it was the cheapest quality phone I could find in a pinch. Even though I don’t use it as my main phone because my 2016 SE is just more convenient to use when I’m out and about because of its small form factor, the galaxy note 9 is the best bang for buck I’ve seen in a phone. I use it as my back up phone which I carry in my bag for official calls. I get good battery life from it and phone calls sound loud and crisp.
I agree with what you say. I stopped upgrading after note 9 512 gb. I couldn't just buy interrupted display and now there is trend of under display camera, I will rather downgrade but not buy any device with punchhole or hidden camera. I do not want front camera but rather full uninterrupted display
Oh hell YES!! I am the proud owner of the Note9 ocean blue just like the one in your video. It's in FLAWLESS condition with perfect display and new battery. The best $171 I ever spent.
Watching from my Note 9. I picked it up from Amazon renewed recently. Have the Note 10 plus which is also a beast. But the Note 9 is the last Samsung phone that trully has all old school features, and IMO, a lot of features that should be on phones still like the headphone jack, notification led, physical finger print scanner and notchless display. That said, my Note 10 plus is also a beast.
I would pay for additional software updates on older devices. How much is up for debate. How much would you pay for a year of updates that gives you an OS update and monthly security patches?
I'd pay for security updates but just the other day I was wondering if someone/company would come up with something similar to LTS in Linux but but smart phones. Pay one time and you're good to go for say ten years.
Great video! I still love Note9 videos. I will soon be receiving a new in-box Note9 Snapdragon with stock Android 8. How do I install the available security patches yet keep it from automatically updating the OS to Android 10? Thank you.
To get the latest security patches go into settings and search updates. You will be directed to the update menu. Enjoy your galaxy note 9 it's a fantastic device
Bought the Note 9 when it was released, and I didn't regret it with reasons being it still had the headphone jack, expandable memory storage, and it took me down memory lane due to its slight resemblance and feel of the LG V20.
I just upgraded from my 2017 Galaxy Note 8 to the Galaxy Note 9, and man, that MicroSD card slot is a must have if you value privacy but still want tto back-up your data. After almost 6 years (longest I've ever used a Smartphone), my Note 8 died on me (it was my first Samsung Phone), won't turn on due to some storage/RAM issue (per the repair shop I took it to). Fortunately, I have been regularly backing-up much of my data via Titanium Backup to my MicroSD card, and my Camera was configured to ALWAYS save new images to my MicroSD card. So, there wasn't much data lost. Now, I can never settle for anything lacking a MicroSD card slot, and the privacy-violating cloud is in no way a suitable replacement. Gonna be using the Note 9 for the next 5+ years.
Galaxy Note 9 is a great phone could've deserved more official support like One Ui 4 or 5, but prefer the hole punch camera cut out and close to bezeless display of 2019's notes and beyond.
Totally correct. Best phone to date, feature wise its got so many more features than the current flagships. Have brought new phones and all are less useful. Battery is struggling a bit on mine, ill probably get battery replaced though the waterproofing would be at risk.
Hearing you say this about the Galaxy Note 9, I'm vindicated. The Note 9 is an antique in Samsung land and it will always be the best Samsung device. PERIOD!
upgraded the battery on my note9 in official samusng service center for in India for ~ 35 USD which is ~3000 INR , totally worth it now its like a brand new phone , currently on its 5th year planning to keep it for at least 2 more years the convinience of hedphone jack cannot be explained ! ...runs cool still snappy phone , only bad is that it is not longer getting security updates else id keep this for 4 more years .
I totally agree... Im still rocking my note 9 its been 4 years now and its flawless in every way. Best phone so far in the history of mankind. The only reason I'm planing to let it go now is lack of security updates which I think ended in March. So sad...
I wanna thank you very very much for this video. im thinking to get note 10+ but after watching your video im going to get another note 9 for me. I bought 2 already, 128gb and 512gb, the first one was already broken and the second 512gb i gave to my mom because her huawei mate 8 (veryyyy old) is very slow and im using her phone (huawei mate8) at the moment. so sad because its very slow. so yes im getting note 9 again for the 3rd time, and not going to waste my precious hard-earned money to downgrade but too expensive phone. thank you alottt. sorry for my bad english. im not a native speaker and yes im pretty bad at it. thanksssss alot for your video
Hello fellow Niners! I wonder if the water resistance will be impacted with the replacement of battery and display? How are your experiences after replacing these. Cheers!
Fully agree!! I've had my beautiful Note 9 for 5 years and I still love it so much! Everything works very well despite the fact that we have an Exynos processor in France and not a Snapdragon. But this version is better than many of the following smartphones! Not to mention that the battery is still good. I just had to change its clear view cover last month!! 😂 So why would I upgrade it?! It's an amazing smartphone. Thank you Samsung and thank you for your great video🙏👍
Never used the note 9 before but imo i think the s10+ is the best bang for my buck right now. Used my s7 edge till it died so getting the s10+ now. I'm not a heavy user so it will fit just fine. Watching this on my HTC m8x( overclocked version of the m8) and yes apps still run smooth display still sharp my friend with the newest A series was shocked to see the sharpness of my display. Love collecting and using older flagships that's why the s10+ for me.
Watch this from Samsung note 9🥰...still my favorite smartphone ever.. But I'm soo sad to have display color issue after updation.. And it's not under warranty.. It's cost alot.. I can't afford that.. I'm big note 9 fan.. Don't have plan to change my phone.. Still using my Samsung note 9 with yellow tint issue... Thank you #Samsung @Samsung
thx for the video I have the note 9 and i love it BUT my screen needs replacement, that costs 300$ here I am not yet sure what to do Restore it or buy the 22 ultra, what would you do?
Yeah. You could argue S10 Plus which still had headphone jack, capacitive fingerprint sensor, QHD etc . . But point stands. Ever since note 10 series Samsung has been removing vital features.
Agree no current Note is better than it, I had an amazing time using it, Ocean Blue color beautiful, always snappy, never lagging. Recently said goodbye to mine. Enjoying my POCO F3, Samsung's getting too expensive, and removing features as you said.
I was very close to upgrade my Note 9 to the Note 10 plus but unfortunately the Note 10 Plus has only 256 gbs and it supports only one Sim card, so I have kept the Note 9.
I really wish Samsung would go back to original philosophy between the S and the Note lineup (at least I think it's the original philosophy). The S lineup was always for the average consumer who doesn't care about every single tiny little feature, or having every spec but just wants a well built and very good phone. While the Note lineup was always for the tech enthusiasts who wanted every single feature and nothing held back. And they wouldn't mind paying extra for it.
I had this gorgeous smartphone when it cames out! It was the best I ever had! It unfortunately has been stole just before 1 year of usage. But the main and probably only issue with this exceptional device is software support! It cames out in 2018 and even today it’s stuck with Android 10 (2020) since it’s powerful enough to run android 12! So basically software support is extremely short for a such expensive device, 2 years only?!
Note 9. Best of all time. Most complete phone ever. I've had alot of phones. Mostly LG, OnePlus, and Samsung. I stayed away from Samsung for a long time. But once they went to OneUI they got much better. Still use my Note9 as a work phone to this day. It gets a pretty easy life, but when I've needed it to step in as a main phone, it's done everything I've needed it to do. Note 10+ was great as well, but not as complete as 9. We're making a push. And we're starting to see IR blasters come back a bit. Next, I want a notification LED. Such an underrated feature. Typed on my ZFold4.
I Upgraded to the S22 Ultra from the Note 9 and it absolutely feels like a worthwhile upgrade I do not miss any of the features whe lost. SD Card? I needed it because I only had 128gb storage my S22U has 512gb so I don't need it. Headphone jack? I have good Bluetooth headphones.
This video (among others) convinced me why i must get a brand new Note 9 rather than a used Note 10+. I've had this dilemma for quite some time. Which one should i buy? Now i know. Better a good old flagship than a used copycat wannabe. Hope all works well with my new Note 9. As a previous owner of the Note 8 the only 2 reasons why i've sold it were: poor battery life and that annoying fingerprint scanner. They fixed it with the Note 9. Good. Have nice day, TP!
Greetings from Australia. Great Video. I will be buying a Note 9 - they have come down to $320 Aud refurbished in top condition. There is another phone that is fab too. The Note 7FE. My wife and her sister are still using these phone today. They run great and take really nice photos. Thanks for the video.
Wellllll if you do that you know there is no more support for the note 9 even though it's a great phone remember it will be stuck on Android 10. If you do sell the note 20 ultra make sure you have money left over after you buy the note 9. I have links down below to buy it. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I am watching this on a Note 9 out of curiosity whether or not it's worth it to upgrade. It's still not. Until the industry decides to add the IO and screen size back to smartphones, I'll be looking for ways to speed up what I have.
I still have my Note 9 as my daily driver, even though the screen is cracked, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work and battery life is down to six hours ish. But, I've looked around and there isn't a phone out there with comparible features that make me want to change. Its the best phone I've owned period.
My favorite Note was the Note Edge. That phone was so polarizing for me back then. It was innovation at its bleeding edge similar to the Z Fold series of today. Side note: My older sister has the Note 9 and has been using it for years since it came out. I was just video chatting with her less than an hour ago. She loves her phone to pieces. She raves about it all the time. #FordGT
That phone was ok at the time but that screen burn was horrible and battery swells and popped the cover off no tnx glad that phone was in the trash can now
Effectivement un note 9 512 go + 128 go oblige à prendre un S22 ultra avec 1 To.
Late comment, technically the last true note with all of the features including a removable battery was the Galaxy Note 4. Eight years old this year and currently using since my Galaxy Note 10 plus has to be repaired. On "Android Marshmallow" since all of the custom roms I've used for it gotten boring Nougat to Android 11 ones and no Android 12 nor 13 ones been developed for the Snapdragon and Exynos versions of Note 4 sadly.
What I trully wish , that Samsung would release (when there will be a big breaktrough in phone computing science bringing the laptop specs to the phone without overheating) to build the ultimate phone that is around the Note 9 size but taller, a bit bulkier/Thicker for more battery and features, and have it be the ultimate tool, that would include the IR blaster and reader for programming, Radio reciever and transmitter, headphone jack with optical audio capability, side Case pins for extended battery case, normal (side or back) but also under screen finger print reader that can be disabled, 2x fully programmable buttons, and a pen with a better capacitor for 10 minutes of 10 clicks/second and 2 buttons that can be read up to 20 meters away (10 meters full signal) true Iris scanner and 24 MP front camera with 8k ultra wide capability, and the ability to use a crop recording with digital stabilizer and 90 degrees view for vlogging that is 4k and a more normal angle , rather then 160 degrees (8k) down to a more resonable 90 degrees (4k), also NO! under screen camera setup, but more like the note 9 form factor, but while also having a full 21/9 aspect ratio screen 4K CAPABLE, but that can go down to 1080p for the best battery life and performance, and having 2x front facing corner ambiental lights, that can be used for reading or for when you need wide ambient lighting, and on the back, an array light that has doual porpuse, wide field ring light (both ambiental close range lights should be able to change the temperature of the light from cold to warm light with ample steps between white and worm orange), with focused center light that can illuminate up to 50m for the 20x zoom lense, and the smaller ring light would be up to 5m for the ultra wide or 2x zoom. Also, it should have dual proper speakers for true mobile stereo, that also have ultrasonic capability, for pet training command use, or for emergency cases that makes an inaudible sound to humans, but the phone itself and rescue units with capable gear, can detect the sound to find the phone's location at least, and maybe also a GPS signal emitter. And call it (THE GALAXY TOOL NOTE 1) that maybe does not have the most powerful hardware, but it is the most versatile version for people that need a tool that is reliable in any temperature or scenario. (And this line of phones should have a new model each 7 years, and have them fully supported for 14, and security supported for 28 years)
Just bought a Note 9 (512 GB) in 2023. Why ? Newer is not always better. Sold my S22 for 700,00 and bought this one for 200 ,00.More options and 500,00 in the pocket.
Awesome video brother. I really liked it. I think the Pros of S22 Ultra: Best display ever. Great Camera Performance. Cons: Worst battery life. Very stuttery sluggish CPU performance. As for the Note 9, it's still capable device to have it even longer in the next few years. I'm thinking to upgrade my Note 9 (I'm typing from right now) either to S24 Ultra or S25 Ultra.
Every so often, my Note 9 battery gets very hot. Other than that it still lasts most of the day for me. It's still a great phone for sure. It's been my daily driver since Aug 2019.
Yes, best Samsung All time, all things considered - Feb 2023 still daily driver, still very usable; Owner of: Z Fold 3, Z Flip 4, Note 20 Ultra, Note 10 Pro, Note 10, S10+ 1TB, S10e.

Only other contenders I would suggest would be: Note 4 Edge (because of REMOVABLE BATTERY and IR BLASTER)
or Galaxy S5 - Same - removable battery and IR Blaster - but both phones - software and internals not useable today.
Question for NOTE 9 enthusiast ---- would you pay for an official OS update - ie to get Android 12, or newer on older device like note 9???
Myself - YES
For sure thanks for the detailed comment I really appreciate it. Yes I would pay for android 12
yes
Samsung started regressing ever since they copied Apple in ditching important features.
The Note 9 is the best Samsung phone ever made
Oooo yeah I totally agree with you
Exactly! Why did they start copying Apple? So annnoying!
Pure business.

So do you agree that the pictures are not washed. They are HDR embedded close to the Iphone if not better
It's amazing to see how devices have taken a step backwards from some of the previous devices.
Yeah that's what I'm seeing
Amazing ? Huh ? How has devices take steps backwards? Please explain , I can't wait to hear this one lol 😆 😂 😅
And the halting of OS & security patch updates after several years so we purchase another new device.

The Note 9 is still popular in this part of the world due to its price. If you're to get an expensive flagship like the Note 22 ultra, you'll have to pay cash, no contracts like in the U.S.
For sure thanks for the information
Note 9 is def top 5 all time. I would also throw the Note 4 in the mix. Removable battery, thicker s-pen, IR blaster, great (flat) screen.
Yeah 👍
I have both the Note 4 and Note 9 still working up to this time
Yessss, the Note 4 too. Loved that phone.
Well shit...this makes me miss my Note 9 vs the S22 Ultra. The Note 9 is going to my son so I'm very happy to see this! I do miss all those features mentioned! 💯
For sure lol I understand
I don't know man. I traded my note 9 and note 20 ultra for my S22 ultra. I'm definitely not regretting it. This phone is absolutely amazing. And with the trade-ins it only cost me $89. While I loved my note 9 at first, ran it for 2 years, the dismal battery life and 60 hertz display just killed it for me. If I didn't have the luxury of being able to have the latest and greatest, I would still be happy with that note 9 though. Great video sir.
For sure congratulations to ya. The galaxy s22 ultra is a great phone 👍
@@TheTechPreacher Thank you. I also still have my LG v60 as one of my backup phones. It's still an incredible phone. Love your channel sir.
Nice I really appreciate it don't forget to share my channel
I own both, Note9 and S22 Ultra 512Gb each. The S22 Ultra has things that Note9 doesn't. Wide angle cam, macro and periscope lens. For me, the most complete and versatile cameras on a smartphone. And with the oneUI 5.0 it is a total upgrade with new features !
The biometric features of Note9 that are missing from S22 Ultra, i got them on my smart watch !
But no doubt Note9 is still the most completed and features packed smartphone in the world, that is why is my backup device and not for sale ! A real treasure !
For sure thanks for watching
Making the black Friday upgrade to the galaxy s22 plus from my OG 2018 black Friday note 9, she's been a trooper but it's time to lay her to rest.
Note 9
2018 2022
May you rest as the knight you are.
Thanks for watching
I came from an O2 (not samsung) to an S2 (samsung) in 2012 and it was phenomenal change. Then from S2 to Note 9, again spetacular changes. But now, my Note9 is beaten up, I need to buy a new S23U or fix my N9. I don't thing I will be in awe with the change like previously, soo I am strongly considering just fix my N9 and keep it for at least 2 more years. What you think?
Ayyyye if your note 9 fits your needs absolutely get that battery replaced
I dropped mine like 40k times... the first time it gave me a blue eye... only when i dropthrew it onto my electrical guitar it got a knack... i since dropped it driving by bike falling out of my pocket onto concrete or just letting it fall flat from my hand and the knack only slightly got bigger.. its still absolutely usable, has no issues whatsoever... only overheats when i charge it and have splitwindows open where at least one is more demanding like flipa clip or ibispaintx... love this phone! So durable, so many possibilities
Wow
Still using mine daily & it still does everything required as a daily driver. At the time it was expensive but it has served me well. I will update but for now I'm happy to keep.
For sure thanks for watching
Really thought that not many people knew Note 9 was the best phone from Samsung.
It checks all the boxes.
Still have mine as a daily driver
For sure I have 3 of them in my collection it's a great phone for sure thanks for watching I really appreciate your insight
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I agree with what you say. I stopped upgrading after note 9 512 gb. I couldn't just buy interrupted display and now there is trend of under display camera, I will rather downgrade but not buy any device with punchhole or hidden camera. I do not want front camera but rather full uninterrupted display
For sure
LOL! I just downgraded from the Note 20 Ultra to the Note 9. Breath of fresh air.
Ayyyye congratulations
Oh hell YES!! I am the proud owner of the Note9 ocean blue just like the one in your video. It's in FLAWLESS condition with perfect display and new battery. The best $171 I ever spent.
Nice it's a great phone
Watching from my Note 9. I picked it up from Amazon renewed recently. Have the Note 10 plus which is also a beast. But the Note 9 is the last Samsung phone that trully has all old school features, and IMO, a lot of features that should be on phones still like the headphone jack, notification led, physical finger print scanner and notchless display. That said, my Note 10 plus is also a beast.
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I would pay for additional software updates on older devices. How much is up for debate. How much would you pay for a year of updates that gives you an OS update and monthly security patches?
Mmmmm that's a great question we will discuss it on the live stream next week
I'd pay for security updates but just the other day I was wondering if someone/company would come up with something similar to LTS in Linux but but smart phones. Pay one time and you're good to go for say ten years.
Great video! I still love Note9 videos. I will soon be receiving a new in-box Note9 Snapdragon with stock Android 8. How do I install the available security patches yet keep it from automatically updating the OS to Android 10? Thank you.
To get the latest security patches go into settings and search updates. You will be directed to the update menu. Enjoy your galaxy note 9 it's a fantastic device
Great video.Still rocking my Note 9 in 2023,8 gig ram 512 memory. Also have the Lg V40.And would love to get the Lg V60.
Bought the Note 9 when it was released, and I didn't regret it with reasons being it still had the headphone jack, expandable memory storage, and it took me down memory lane due to its slight resemblance and feel of the LG V20.
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
S10 plus was my favorite to hold in the hand but dam you got me seeing things totally different. Eazy I was blind but now I see. Thank you .
For sure Bro
I hear you and I do understand what you are saying sorry your note 8 died
Yes ,I am still using it .my note 9 blue boy ♂️ ❤❤❤❤❤its still worth using
Oooooooo yeah
The Note 4 have all of the above, an IR blaster and a removable battery. Zero to 100% battery. My lady still has the Note 9 and she loves it.
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate your insight
Galaxy Note 9 is a great phone could've deserved more official support like One Ui 4 or 5, but prefer the hole punch camera cut out and close to bezeless display of 2019's notes and beyond.
For sure
Totally correct. Best phone to date, feature wise its got so many more features than the current flagships. Have brought new phones and all are less useful. Battery is struggling a bit on mine, ill probably get battery replaced though the waterproofing would be at risk.
Right so right
Very true bro. Samsung has lost there way. I won't buy there new smartphones
Yeah I totally agree with you
Lost there way how ??? Please explain
Samsung didn't lose their way they are trying to be to much like Apple
Definitely a classic. I miss mine. Especially since they started taking things away with the next 3 Notes.
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I'm still using the note9. Nothing wrong with it at all, but I struggle with image burn bad. Have had 2 replacements
Sorry to hear the about the display
Hearing you say this about the Galaxy Note 9, I'm vindicated.
The Note 9 is an antique in Samsung land and it will always be the best Samsung device. PERIOD!
For sure it's the best Samsung Galaxy device period!!!! Thanks for watching
@@TheTechPreacher Always a pleasure
upgraded the battery on my note9 in official samusng service center for in India for ~ 35 USD which is ~3000 INR , totally worth it now its like a brand new phone , currently on its 5th year planning to keep it for at least 2 more years the convinience of hedphone jack cannot be explained ! ...runs cool still snappy phone , only bad is that it is not longer getting security updates else id keep this for 4 more years .
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
Ive had my note 9 for years has screen burn but I'm not `upgrading` yet.... I might even buy a 2nd note 9 nothing come close to the package
For sure
I totally agree... Im still rocking my note 9 its been 4 years now and its flawless in every way. Best phone so far in the history of mankind. The only reason I'm planing to let it go now is lack of security updates which I think ended in March. So sad...
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate your insight
Congratulations to you the note 9 is a great phone you will be happy with it.
Your english is not bad at all.
Hello fellow Niners! I wonder if the water resistance will be impacted with the replacement of battery and display? How are your experiences after replacing these. Cheers!
I never replace my battery I'm not sure the water experience. Thanks for watching I really appreciate your insight
Yeah I'm yet to kill a Note battery but yes that's a great question.
Ayyyye thanks for watching I really appreciate it
Never used the note 9 before but imo i think the s10+ is the best bang for my buck right now.
For sure thanks for watching
Watch this from Samsung note 9🥰...still my favorite smartphone ever.. But I'm soo sad to have display color issue after updation.. And it's not under warranty.. It's cost alot.. I can't afford that.. I'm big note 9 fan.. Don't have plan to change my phone.. Still using my Samsung note 9 with yellow tint issue... Thank you #Samsung @Samsung
Sorry to hear that you having that issue
thx for the video
I have the note 9 and i love it BUT my screen needs replacement, that costs 300$ here
I am not yet sure what to do
Restore it or buy the 22 ultra, what would you do?
300 dollars wow that's high
@@TheTechPreacher in Europe thats normal I guess
@@TheTechPreacher buy the 22 ultra?
Wow
I been saying this for years, the Note 9 is the last, great, no compromise samsung phone. It holds up in 2022, mine runs flawlessly.
Great video!
Yes I totally agree
For sure I do understand
I have a note 9 and dont want to upgrade but I random "no network" I dont get calls or text. So I'm now debating on a note 20 ultra or s21 ultra.
Look at the s21 ultra the price is right check out my website www.eazycomputersolutions.com
I was very close to upgrade my Note 9 to the Note 10 plus but unfortunately the Note 10 Plus has only 256 gbs and it supports only one Sim card, so I have kept the Note 9.
For sure congratulations to you
The note 9 was a beast. Great video.
For sure thanks for watching bro
@@TheTechPreacher 💪🏽💪🏽
I really wish Samsung would go back to original philosophy between the S and the Note lineup (at least I think it's the original philosophy). The S lineup was always for the average consumer who doesn't care about every single tiny little feature, or having every spec but just wants a well built and very good phone. While the Note lineup was always for the tech enthusiasts who wanted every single feature and nothing held back. And they wouldn't mind paying extra for it.
That's what I've been saying why Samsung did that is beyond me
@TheTechPreacher Also I appreciate you taking time to respond to all of us.
@@RossLemon ayyyye I love my community I'm here for yall
Well i still got the note 9 and i can say right now it still works real good when it goes dead i will update. 😁🙏💪
Ayyyye congratulations to you it's a great phone
My mom still uses a Note 9 and its still fast
Yes it a great phone
Is the front and back cameras a downside? I come from huawei p30 light, how is it compaire with this?
I'm not sure I don't have the p30. Thanks for watching
Samsung should release a 'retro' note with the form factor of the 9 with all the features we loved and an updated chip and 120 hz.
I know right
I had this gorgeous smartphone when it cames out!
Yeah that's sucks but it's still a great phone
Yes ,. It's one of the best SP ever 🔥🔥 once i owned it and still it was the best i used 💪
For sure thanks for watching
Yes I totally agree with you
I Upgraded to the S22 Ultra from the Note 9 and it absolutely feels like a worthwhile upgrade I do not miss any of the features whe lost. SD Card? I needed it because I only had 128gb storage my S22U has 512gb so I don't need it. Headphone jack? I have good Bluetooth headphones.
For sure congratulations to you
This video (among others) convinced me why i must get a brand new Note 9 rather than a used Note 10+.
Congratulations to you and enjoy your new toy
Greetings from Australia.
Great Video.
I will be buying a Note 9 - they have come down to $320 Aud refurbished in top condition.
There is another phone that is fab too. The Note 7FE. My wife and her sister are still using these phone today. They run great and take really nice photos.
Thanks for the video.
For sure welcome to my channel
Does the FE stand for fire edition?
Easy call me crazy but I'm really thinking about picking up a note 9 and getting rid of the note 20 ultra.
Wellllll if you do that you know there is no more support for the note 9 even though it's a great phone remember it will be stuck on Android 10. If you do sell the note 20 ultra make sure you have money left over after you buy the note 9. I have links down below to buy it. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I fully agree, Eric
Samsung and Apple didn't do anything new in the last 2 years
Yeah you are so right
Completely agree! I've had many newer ones, but the note 9 had all the good gadgets on it.
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I got Samsung note 9 and its still going strong i love it
For sure
I am watching this on a Note 9 out of curiosity whether or not it's worth it to upgrade. It's still not. Until the industry decides to add the IO and screen size back to smartphones, I'll be looking for ways to speed up what I have.
For sure I totally agree
I hear you the note 9 is an awesome device, but it ain't messing with the s22 ultra in cameras or battery life.
For sure
Yes it is ..with iris scanner and face detect it open the phone so fast also heartrate monitor
For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I still have my Note 9 as my daily driver, even though the screen is cracked, the fingerprint sensor doesn't work and battery life is down to six hours ish. But, I've looked around and there isn't a phone out there with comparible features that make me want to change. Its the best phone I've owned period.
Wow I hear ya. You can get another note 9 there are very cheap
The Note 9? Still my daily driver🤘
For sure
You're very correct with this post! The s20 on are pathetic, and of very poor quality! But,it's not going to get any better I'm afraid.
Unfortunately I know it's sad tho. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it
I just bought a note 9 coming from an iPhone xr and I absolutely love this phone over apple 🍎
For sure congratulations to you
Note 9 is $200. Note 22 ultra is $1200 for 8 GB. Not even a question to me which is still the better deal
For 300 dollars you can get 512gb of storage with 8gb of Ram now that's a even better deal lol
Please tell me where do you get a brand new Note 9 for 200-300 dollars? Thank you
My favorite Note was the Note Edge.

For sure thanks for watching bro
That phone was ok at the time but that screen burn was horrible and battery swells and popped the cover off no tnx glad that phone was in the trash can now
@@RLVTECHUSA never had those issues. I used it for years.
Good review. But I always thought the S10+ was the last, great and feature packed model Samsung ever made. Everything goes downhill after that.

Hello what was the game running on the note 9, it's stunning
Dead trigger 2
Effectivement un note 9 512 go + 128 go oblige à prendre un S22 ultra avec 1 To.

Yes 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 updated note 9 The best...💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 it's not a old phone why not updated 🤬

For sure thanks for watching I really appreciate your insight

(And this line of phones should have a new model each 7 years, and have them fully supported for 14, and security supported for 28 years)
Hahaha great comments
That will be the ultimate phone.
Still enjoing mine,Blue 512,8 gigs ram.Excellent phone.
Oooo yeah 👍

I think the Pros of S22 Ultra:
Best display ever.
Great Camera Performance.
Cons:
Worst battery life.
Very stuttery sluggish CPU performance.
As for the Note 9, it's still capable device to have it even longer in the next few years.
