I still love my Note9 as a daily driver. But my silicone case finally died. So went through Amazon, got an Otterbox Symmetry black case, Yunce RingStand Stick-on-Wallet, black leather snap closer holding 8 cards and a Gorilla Glass curved screen protector. So now i am great for another 8 years!
I have used newer devices but there's still a lot of compromises. No SD card, no headphone jack, no capacitive fingerprint sensor, no iris scanner, no MST. And I'll take the small bezel over the punch hole any day of the week.
For me personally, S9+/Note 9 and S10+/Note 10+ was peak Samsung. My personal favorite device I've ever used was the Note 10+. Note 9 is in the top 3 though. Last Samsung device that had everything. I used it from 2019-2020, among some horrible experiences in the pandemic, so I hold some weird attachment to it. Sadly, I received an update in Nov 2020 from T-Mobile that basically ruined my device. Since then, I have swore off carrier devices.
Appreciate this content. I never owned a Note device, but I owned the S8+ for 4 years until I traded it in to inevitably get the S24 Ultra. Samsung's biometrics with the iris scanner and physical fingerprint reader were flawless. I have to type my password multiple times each day because Samsung's current face unlock and in-display fingerprint reader are trash. Idc what anyone says Samsung phones have been in decline since the Note 9 era. That's when we consumers let phone manufacturers remove features and in-box accessories and accepted this as an upgrade.
I just traded mine in for the S24 Ultra today. My S22 Ultra connection to AT&T network has been unreliable the past month... Been rocking the Note9 and kinda missed tbh 😅
Just grabbed one off Back Market for less than $300. 1TB ot total storage, Excellent condition...of course, I'm coming from a 9+, but have always wanted an older Note and can't wait to transfer my data. ❤🤯
to me the best android version is 12. both note 9 and note10 plus unsupported with security updates anymore but on note 9 just download any antivirus and vpn.
the note line up was Samsung best of the best and the note 9 was the last most complete note i fell the same about the LG v20 in the LG line up built like a tank with aluminum back (not glass), consumer removable battery, ir blaster, FM radio, dedicated sd slot, 3.5mm jack, dual screen, Quad DAC ect
My favorite Samsung all time is the S10 Plus and right behind it would be the S23 Ultra. The 8 Gen 2 is the modern Snapdragon 855. Great power, great battery life, good chip for cameras, great for gaming, just good for everything. The S10 Plus has the sd card slot, headphone jack, and that awesome switching aperture camera.
Always loved the Note line. I skipped the Note 5 for the Nexus 6P and skipped the 9 for the S10. Never wanted an S phone. I currently roll with the S23U. Nice video!
The best note ever note 9, It had the best upgrades for its time It still came with the charger It came with earbuds in the box. Mine even came with a case. The vibrant colors on my Note 9 are way better than any other Samsung display ive had. For its time it is the best device Samsung has ever made. If the S24 ultra had this equivalent upgrades it would be the best phone of all time. That many upgrades Samsung would charge $2,500 for the phone, so instead we got the minimal upgrade as 24 ultra which is definitely not the best Samsung phone made so far. S22 and S23 ultra was better
I was thrilled to see a video pop up on an older Galaxy Note 9, hec, any Note was interesting. . I fell in love with when I first saw the Note 4, my best friend had bought one and It was.amazing to me all the cool things it did. The stylus was cool! Next thing I know I'm getting a Note 5, then Note 8, and now picked up a refurbed n amazing Note 20 Ultra for $250. . I like it more than my S22 Ultra. I do wish my Note 20U had the features of the 9 with the iris sensor etc. Over the years Samsung has taken away so many amazing features. I enjoy your vids.!
@ladyjedi3D I only have the Note 4 and the Note 10+. I've done a lot of videos on the Note 20 Ultra and Note 10+. I don't have the Note 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or the Note 8
I use a xiaomi 11 lite 5g NE as my daily driver, but I keep my galaxy note 9 as a backup, I love the Dex feature so I pair it with my laptop and a second screen so I have two computers and can multitask very easily. Edit: If you want to use Dex with a laptop you NEED a second monitor to use Dex with your laptop.
It's real... Traded mine for the note 20 Ultra 5g..... My note 9 was better... Just the finger print reader was better! Better location inspired by LG lol! It was like a 10 year old Tacoma it was just DEPENDABLE and AMAZING!
I used to have the S9 and I loved the Iris scanner on it, if Samsung brings it back with future phones they need to build it inside the punch hole camera 💯.
@@ro4lol It is an amazing phone. It is so fluid and quick. The 16 G of Ram is very impressive and makes using lots of apps so easy. The One Plus 13 is coming out in 1-2 months. It should be a beast.
I had a Galaxy Note 9 my favorite phone of all time but I do have to correct you on one thing. I had the midnight blue version and it came with a yellow s pen
It the nicest device I have ever owned, and it's a great for most tasks. The only downside is it just came out before 5g really rolled out. If this beautiful device could be modded for 5g, I would have that done without a doubt.
I love my note 9 not my daily driver anymore but it gets used as my secondary device for the kids. For some reason i cant make youtube comments with my note 9 though.
Great video still have. my note 9 as my daily it ,been eligible for a upgrade but i really the the ultra is a downgrade because it not complete like the note 9 only the the battery life not the best
was gonna buy 512gb amazon renewed for 300usd but i have to hold off cause i want something with 5g. maybe another note20u cause my note20u starting to show burn ins
It is still good but it's not being updated anymore so you're kind of stuck on Android 10 I think. But it's hardly unusable, the 8:45 chipset is still pretty solid. I'm still outperforms a lot of contemporary mid-rangers.
The greatest device Samsung ever made was the Note Fireball! Uhh Note 7 😅. It was so darn good, I couldn't even take it out the box because I would have kept it.
I love mine, using as a daily driver but people say its ugly and is too old. They dont understand the feel of this phone and how good it is😮
Ugly? That's crazy I think it's a beautiful phone. People just have a recency bias.
Dude even the note 7 is beautiful, the note 9 was amazing asf and even after having every note and S since 2018 the note 9 i always missed
@@michaelcorcoran8768the reason why people say note 9 ugly is because on how the camera look like they nerfed the camera on note 9
I have ALL NOTES SERIES

Charging to fast (exp wireless) kills the battery life

I wouldn't use payments on a phone which didn't get any security updates anymore.
