Minor thing, you actually don't save the axes. If you have the kickstart version of the game (Sold on Amazon), it has a reference card and score tracker, and the reference card says you re-roll the axes as well.
I was about to post the same thing. Good catch.
This and Age of War are my two favorite dice games!
Well I found a reasonably priced copy ($12 which included shipping) and played it last night. It definitely is better than Martian Dice, and enjoy it. Perhaps a top 5 filler game but doesn't make my top 100. Enjoy it though and glad to have it. Thanks Sam!
This game should be called"Jack Evans"

I love the theme and its a great grab and go sized box. Good review 👍
Someone below said it reminds them of Zombie dice, but I have another variant called Martian Dice and it seems very similar. I prefer Martians to zombies, but prefer Dragons to Martians, so if I can find this reasonably priced I would get it.
While I do agree that Age of War is a prettier game with a cooler theme, I don't like it better than Dragon Slayer. With the ability to steal in Age of War, the game can take forever. (Hyperbole, I know) This game has gone over quicker the majority of my plays. Thanks for the review, Sam.
