    My wife and I are coffee fanatics so this theme is right up our alley. Another game goes on the list÷

    Lol I haven't watched this in years. I almost traded the game but love coffee themed games so much I decided to play it to see if it was still worth it and watch this video again to try to remember some of the rules and yet still holds up in 2023 I know now there are a ton of better rolling rights but I still just love going back to this after playing a few times again. Even after using the eraser a ton of times back in the day when I first bought this, I still have a fine first player eraser left!

    I'm a serious dice-rolling hater but I like this game. Whatever I roll, it gives me some stuff to do :)

    Felt bad that his hadn't made it to your table yet. My favorite of the Yahtzee games so far, way more fresh and fun than Roll Through the Ages.

    The first player marker is an eraser! Now the people who would scoff at score pads can scoff a little bit less. (personally, I think if you've played a game enough to use up the score pads, you've probably gotten your money's worth, but some people worry about that sort of thing)

      Jay Champagne I mean, seriously, you can just print more... between scanners and photocopiers, and printouts from BoardGameGeek, scorepads should be a total non-issue!

    Dan even has this on his Top 100. Wonder if this can make Tom's list. Probably not :)

    I have too many Yahtzee games myself, but I like the coaster and eraser comments. Multipurpose game components!!! :P

      I know, right? I've already got Roll Through The Ages, and that kind of scratches the same itch for me, but this still looks like a great game, and some people can't get enough of certain mechanics (I've got a ton of deck-builders, and I keep buying more).

      Hello! Would you mind listing your yahtzee games? I recently discovered BGs beyond Monopoly and Scrabble and am way behind people.
      I really liked King of Tokyo and has been on the prowl for similar games since.

    Wow, you're just now reviewing this? It's been out for like 6 months.
    I like it though, Fun game.

    • @misterlad
      @misterlad 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Less than 4 months.

    • @McBehrer

      As opposed to a couple weeks before it comes out, like normal? That's pretty late for him.

    • @misterlad

      Tom often reviews games months after their release. While "common", Tom reviewing games before release is definitely not "normal". In any case, I got the game less than 3 1/2 months ago, and I was a KS backer. I don't think it was generally available until later than that. Point being, 6 months is a pretty big exaggeration.

      I don't know, it seemed like a long time ago to me. Whatever, I've been corrected. Is it really that big a deal that you need to correct me repeatedly?

    • @misterlad
      @misterlad 9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      McBehrer I corrected you once. You made another incorrect statement, so that required a correction. The need for individuals to correct you is directly proportional to how many times you are incorrect. In for a penny, in for a pound. But no, your incorrect statements aren't terribly important, nor are my corrections. ;-)

    This theme is just not doing it for me.....

      Same here, and i'm sure it's a fun game for people who do, but I just don't care about coffee technology. I'll take monster Yahtzee games instead all day long.

      Why would that ever be something that makes u not choose to try the game? Ur acting like u are a poll do'er. Stop trying to be a thermometer for everyone else. If u don't like coffee, stop drinking coffee, and stop looking vids about coffee, or whatever. I mean, if the game is super nice, why are u letting those coffee beans up ur butt, decide for u?!
