I find that in America some parents don’t want to parent their kids they rather be friends. Why would you push your kids to be close to or trust a celebrity that you don’t fully know. I’m a product of a strict household. My mom always protected me by telling me what sex was and to report any inappropriate behavior. She would tell me not to open the door to any man “uncle” who would come around if my brothers weren’t around. She kept a tight curfew, didn’t let me go out with friends who she didn’t meet their parents. I was always dressed like a kid.
